Ok I'm back:
Elle - welcome back - sounds like you had a restful staycation. SonyEReader? I got a Kindle for Christmas - what a shocker!! I haven't really tried to use it - just read some instructions on it. Frankly, I am rather old fashioned and told DH that I wasn't sure I didn't want to just hold a book - especially since nothing serious will happen to the book if I drop in the bathtub - but the Kindle would be destroyed!
Laura - I loved what Santa got the girls - that Reindeer grooming kit was a tough one - I think he pulled it off. Wow - you have really been putting tons of time out of doors and on the slopes - sounds great - lots of exercise and fun. You guys really take advantage of the winter weather. I think Eliza will work through her mental block out there on the slopes - it happens. Remind her that it isn't a competition and she is only out there to have fun.
Shadowpup - glad to see the desk is getting a good workout!!! I think it is a much better option than sitting still - especially since sitting can be so detrimental to the back!! Glad Clara is alright - driving on ice - scary. It happened to me a couple of times and I saw my life flash before my eyes. Now I'm petrified.
Janie - oh gee - the treats are now backfiring - I didn't think the dogs would end up out on your front porch. I'm with Joey - I think you should reward with praise instead of food from now on. A pat on the head and some kind words will go a long way. Try that for awhile. I don't think you should stop being friendly to them. I love the Firm Vol 3 - that's a good one too.
Michelle - all the decorations down - you amaze me. It takes me a long long time to put it up - not so long to take it down but more than a weekend. I'm glad that Ripken got you back home safe and sound - sure sounds as if he missed you. Any chance you can take him with you on trips to visit family?? How does he get along with cats??? ok here is a shoe report just for you: black Anne Klein pointy toe pumps. These are an old pair with some silver hardware on them and some white stitching for detail.
A quick hello to Renee & MicheleZ. Gotta go again!
