GETTING IT DONE January 2016 - January 2020

Good morning,

Today I did Amy Dixon Women's Heath Total Body workout in Ten = 39 min. I had that dvd for a few years, it was my first time doing it :( I have to say it was a pretty good TB workout. It's also a good travel workout! I also did ICE Rock'n & Sack'n Bonus workouts: Blizzard Blast (should have looked at my notes, I already did that workout on 13 Jan, 2016!) = 14 min + Muscle Meltdown triceps = 14 min + ICY Core # 1 = 11 min. That it for me today!

Sherry - wtg on all your workouts this week. Thank you! I am trying to catch up on the # off DVD's. I really try to get all the longer premixes out of the way:p Trust me I was dreading it:D but that one needed to get done. No, I do not wear gloves. My arms would fall off, that premix was way to long, lol. I also finished another DVD with Amy Dixon, yay!

Hi, I can't walk outside today...it's raining and very windy :( I did an indoor walk instead. I did Jessica Smith Walking for Weight Loss, Wellness & Energy - High Energy Walk + 30 min + Power Walk = 30 min.

Digging out here! Actually, was only 10-11", so not all that bad. Worked from home so I didn't have to deal with traffic. Did get the dog out for a walk after the plow came through, then 3 miles on the tm followed by stretch.

Belinda - Another great job on wo's. Yeah, maybe for a premix that long I wouldn't wear gloves either. How are the arms today? How is DH doing these days?

I am done with XTrain Premix #2 Low Impact HiiT + Burn Set Chest - 53:06 plus Leslie Samson - 4 Mile Power Walk #3 : 2 Mile Power Walk Express = 30 min. That dvd has 3 workouts: 1# 4 Mile Power Walk which I did on Nov 16, 2015, 2# 2 Mile Classic Walk which I did Nov 27, 20115 and #3 2 Mile Power Walk with I did today. I finished another dvd:D I am also working on next weeks workouts, will post them once I figured out.

Sherry - my arms are a little sore today, LOL. Thanks for asking about DH. He is doing great. Still can't lift anything. You still have snow? It's cold and windy in WV.

Hallo ladies,

This morning DH and I cleaned out the garage. I donated 8 garbage bags full of cloth. I am so glad those bags are gone. I will continue to fill more bags next week. DH and I had a garage sale last year, those cloth been in my garage the entire time :( Since DH had injured his shoulder, they sat in my garage for the longest time. My kids brought a lot of bags for the garage sale too. I will not have another garage sale, it's just not worst my time to sit there all day long just for a few hundred dollars. I rather donate them and get them out of the way.

I just finished CCPP and Amy Dixon Women's Health Ultimate Fat Burn (circuit wo), very fun workouts. Another dvd I had for years and never done it. I am getting there, lol.

Belinda: We are doing the same here with cleaning out but with the basement. It's amazing what you can pile up in such a short period of time.
Of course we also have 4 kids and all their stuff too! ;) Hopefully they will find the time to go through it so we can be more organized.

Hello Sherry: OH NO! No more snow! We have had such a mild winter with just one real snow storm. Not much in the way of snow but it has been pretty darn cold. Nice job on your walk. :)

Not much happening in the WO department for me. Work has been very hectic and stressful. My body is aching all over and I am back to headaches again. :/ No fun for sure.

I hope that this week will be better.

Hi all!

Catching up:
Friday - rest day, but brought DS home for spring break! He's here for a week.
Saturday - Made it to ballet class
Today - dog walk outside but then 4 mile run on the tm because even though it made it in to the 50's today, it was a major slush/mudfest outside with the nearly foot of snow melting all at once.

Belinda - You are making great progress on your DVD's! I agree on no garage sales - way too much work for the little benefit. We just donate our stuff, but don't do it nearly as often as we need to in order to keep the house cleaner.

Heidi - yes, work has been hectic for me, too, but trying to keep the wo's up to help with the stress level.

Good morning,

I ended up taking a rest day yesterday. I really needed one. DH and I went to visit the kids inn DC. We went Alexandria, walked downtown old Alexandria and the Harper.

This week I will do Tracie Long's workouts and Cathe's mixed in. Last week I finished 7 workout dvd's :) Not bad.

Heidi - I hear you on what you can pile up in such a short period of time :( I had no idea you had 4 kids :) I only have 2, but they bring and store all their crap at my house. My DD is planing to spend a few day's with us soon, I already told her she has to go through her stuff, either take it with her or I will donate it :) Although my house is huge, I don't like clutter or a bunch of boxes sitting around. I look at this way, if boxes sitting in my storage room/or garage for a year and nobody is using it....we don't need it. I don't like storing things for years.

Sherry - thank you on the dvd's. I also realized I don't need anymore workout dvd's. My house is clean and no clutter. It's my garage that has still a lot of left over from our garage sale last year. DH and I cleaned/got rid of a lot this weekend. I will do my best to clean more out this week and fill up more bags.

has been so run down the past couple weeks. It must be some sort of virus...

Belinda: Yes, I have 4 kids all adults now. 3 sons and 1 daughter. The oldest is 30 and the youngest is 20. They keep me busy with
running around to do things or help them out when needed. ;)

Awesome job checking off another workout program on your DVD list! Your visit with your family sounds like a great way to spend a rest day.

Spring is coming soon with all the spring cleaning chores. LOL! I have some green things showing up already in the yard too. :)

I am back:

I did Tracie Long Leaning Out = 50 min. I am confused on that dvd. It say's it has 2 custom chapters? One is 20 min and the other is 10 min? Are those considered premixes? I am having a blond moment :p I also did Jessica Smith 10 Pound Down Cardio Abs: Cardio Abs = 28 min.

Heidi - my oldest is 30 too :) I have a boy and a girl :) I hear you on keeping you busy :) Are your kids still living at home? Good job on your workout and spring cleaning. I am doing the same. Every day a little bit.

I also did Karen Voight Pure & Simple Stretch = 40 min. Really helped losing up my hips.

Quick wo tonight (dog walk and Butt Bible LB L1) 'cause kids wanted to play games - everyone is off tomorrow but me - DH and DS on spring break, DD has the day off 'cause her grade isn't testing. Love it when they still like to do things with us. Feel like the youngster here 'cause they're 19 and 17. House is filled with clutter, and I've reconciled that is the way it is for now - though sometimes I have dreams of a very clean white house that none of them live in. Lol!

Belinda - You'll have to let me know about the Tracie Longs - I remember liking her a lot back in the Firm days.

Heidi - Hi five! Always an accomplishment when you can follow Cathe's weights and move the next day.

Today I did ICE Rock'n & Sock'n Timesaver Premix #5 : Less Kicks: Most of the kicks are eliminated = 39:59 min + Jessica Smith TB Ab Transformer = 28 min + Tummy Torching Tabata = 4 min plus Tracie Long Leaning Out - Flab Fighter 13 min ( I wouldn't consider that one a premix :( after all that I needed a good stretch. I finished w/Karen Voight premix : Floor Stretch = 30 min.

Sherry - so far I like Tracie Long Longevity Series : Leaning Out. I haven't done all her other ones yet? That's funny...I was thinking about Butt Bible yesterday, lol Good job, girl. I like your dream :D My kids still bring their crap into my house and leave it.

Hi all!

Today's wo was a 2.75 mi run, which was supposed to be 4.5 mi but ITB starting bothering me - what the? Maybe I was sitting funny today. So stopped the run early and rolled and rolled. Definitely need to pick up the intensity on the glute/hip work. That was followed with about 4" of Shovelmax this evening.

Belinda - Great job today - that's lots of minutes for working out! I wouldn't mind trying Tracie but I haven't seen her stuff at our library. Maybe I can borrow her stuff from another one. Not buying anything - after the marathon I think I'll do what you are doing - work my way through the whole DVD collection!

Today I did : Tracie Long Leaning Out : Lift = 20 min (this one had no warm up or cool down :() + Jessica Smith 10 Pounds Down Cardio ABS : Concentrated Abs = 26 min + Karen Voight Pure & Simple Stretch - Standing Stretch = 10 min.

Sherry - good job on your run yesterday. Running is tough on the body. Keep rolling and icing. My library has nothing.

Allee - I hope March is better one for you. Hang in there, my friend :)

Happy Hump Day! :)

Just finished my WO.
ICE To the mat. I used the pink bands for this. My back is still tender so I am being very careful. The stretching between exercises was just
perfect. I really did like this one and I am not a big fan of floor leg workouts.

Yesterday:
ICE Low impact sweat cardio 2 with abs 2. I spent the day at home cooking and cleaning this and that.

I am sticking to a meal plan....well sort of with minor tweeks due to lack of ingredients. I have work today so will go shopping after.

Ok so this week I managed 3 days in a row! YEAH! :)

Sherry: Great job on your workouts! Good move on stopping the run early and doing some stretching out with roller work.

Belinda: I bet you are sore from all those workouts! I don't know how you do it. ;) Nice job!

Allee: Sorry you have the blues lately. I really do think that exercising helps release stress and low moods. Even getting in a walk outside helps.
I hope that you feel better soon.

Heidi - good job on your workouts as well. Glad the stretching helps. Working out helps me with the winter blues :) Once it gets warmer, I will slow down.
 
Can't decide with one I want to start next week? Maybe I mix them all up in no oder? Or should I go through each dvd/sets? That should be an interesting mix? Mmmmm.........? What do you think?
