Well, Drew may not have napped much yesterday, but he slept from 9:15 last night until 5:30am, when he wanted to eat. Back to sleep around 6:45, and didn't wake up until (drum roll please) ELEVEN!!! That was a wonderful treat LOL
Susan, Drew is still sleeping in his carseat. We have the Fisher Price infant-to-toddler vibrating seat, so we put his car seat on top of that so that he can vibrate too. Don't know which part of the equation is the magical part LOL I tried the wedge pillow from Babies R Us, but it didn't work. He would wake up at the bottom of the crib, or he'd be sideways. I know we have to start "weaning" him from the seat, but I just don't want to yet (I like the sleep). I have talked to so many moms who have revealed to me that their kids slept in the car seat for months. My ped was worried that Drew had really bad reflux, based on my frantic call about lack of sleep to their office during Christmas week. So they had him come in so they could weigh him to see if he'd lost weight or not gained any -- bad reflux would make it hard for him to gain. Alas, Drew gained almost 3 pounds -- no fear of reflux; he's just a turkey
Christine, the glitter boxes sound like a fun V'day treat! How is DH enjoying his new job, btw?
Melanie, the girls are doing great!! I can't believe it's time for you to start thinking about going to work already. The weeks have flown by.
Jen, I have Imax3, but have never done it hahahaha.
As for a lot of those celeb moms, if we had nannies, nutritionists, publicists, and personal trainers working out with us for 4 or 5 hours a day, well, wouldn't we all look awesome within 4 weeks of giving birth?!?!
Ella starts preschool tomorrow!! They have an opening in the 3 year old class. I'm so excited! It's only 2.5 hours, every Thurs and Fri, but it will be so good for her. She's been talking about going to preschool for MONTHS. I just got the call yesterday. So, of course, now she does not want to go. Sigh. We're both nervous -- her about making new friends and me about dropping her off
She's always with me, kwim? So, this will be good for BOTH of us. Tomorrow I will be there with her, to get a feel for the place.
