Don't know where to start

Hello, I am new to the forum and Cathe workouts. I am just not sure where to start. I have just finished Chalean Extreme, and have seen results, so I think I'm ready for Cathe. However I still have at least 20lbs. to loose, do you have any suggestions on what dvd's to purchase? Would the STS mesocycle 1 be a good place to start? I just have no idea. Thanks.

Obviously not Cathe, but here´s my 2c worth :) I don´t have Chalean Extreme, so can´t comment on that. Re: the rest of your question, it really depends on what your goals are. I used Cathe for years and am now using her STS system. The meso 1 cycel is endurance, but still tough, so if that´s what you like, then, yes, it would be good. Do you also want to incorporate cardio? Do you like to mix your cardio and weights? You will find people h ere who workout in a variety of ways and see results. Once you have an idea of what you want, just take a look at all of the DVDs! Good luck and have fun!

Welcome! I, too, am fairly new! I started with two Cathe dvds right before I joined The Cathe Nation - Cardio Fusion and Step, Jump & Pump & Step Blast (a combo dvd) I do 3 days of cardio and two days of cardio/weights from SJP. This is working for me. I have lost almost 10 lbs. and still have 16 to go! I agree that you should check out ALL of her dvds and see what appeals to you. The descriptions are very detailed, so you'll know exactly what you're getting from each dvd. Good luck! And, again, welcome! Can't wait to hear about your progress!

Thank you so much, both of you. Well Chalean extreme is kinda a female version of p90x. I like it, but find I get bored the last few weeks. My goals are to lose weight and get toned. Eventually I'd love to be as toned as Cathe, but first and foremost get rid of this weight. I am not real fond of cardio, but I'm working on it. I know I need to tweak my eating a bit more too. So thanks, I'll go over the dvds and see if I can't figure something out. Thanks again!

What kind of workouts do you like?

Step? Kickbox? Circuits? Do you like to lift heavey or do you prefer more endurance style workouts? Do you have any problem areas like abs or lower body? I know there are some ladies on the forum who have done Chalean so maybe they will know what to recommend. Can you do high impact or do you have a body part (knees) that requires gentle use? Do you also do cardio coach or some other outdoor style workout (biking, swimming, running,)?

The intermediate rotation (as recommended by someone else) is great.

Thanks I'll check into that rotation. I actually just finished Chalean extreme. I guess I'm looking for something kinda like Chalean extreme, but ready for something else. My biggest problem most of my weight is around my waist. Thanks again ladies!
