Hi Kathy!

Great workout huh!? I did this one yesterday and loved every minute.:)

So far today I put in an iTread workout early this morning. I still have my upper body workout ahead of me. I spent the morning painting the 1st bath then had to rush out to get DS from a 1/2 day of school.
Went to work for a bit and then it was off to the dentist for DS's appointment. On my way out my DD called and said she needed a ride from the train station 2 towns over....well quick change of plans. called DH to take son to dentist while I picked up my daughter.

Finally home to take a deep breath and get on with the next task...dinner.

Kathy - I love LIC too!

Heidi - OOH! Painting! What color(s)? OUr house is very colorful. DH groans when I get the painting bug, but he always like how it turns out.

Today will be Supersets - I have never done this one. Hoping for some good DOMS!!! Feeling recovered from MM finally! Wooh! That was a good one. Anybody have any tips for SS?

Good Morning Everyone,:)

I guess all my painting and doing cleaning totally exhausted me so by 8:30pm I couldn't wait to go to bed. My husband wanted me to watch a movie with him and I could barely keep my eyes open. I finally said I had enough and went to bed at 10:15pm.
So I slept in until 6:30am and am now waiting on DD to get ready for the train. Time also to get DS up for school.

Kathy: The 1st bath is sort of aztec style with tiled floors and 1/2 way up the walls. The rest is painted with an oyster white paint which matches the over over all coloring in the wall tile. I have a little area I want to add a second coat today.

Today's workout:
Body Max 2 timesaver cardio premix
abs from LIC and stretch
Later is another iTread #24 part B 30min.

Hi Kate and Kathy,

Thanks for the comments. I really did get exhausted yesterday from all of that work! Phew...decided to take the day off from painting projects. I had errands to do anyway.

I have Push-pull on the schedule for tomorrow. }( Let me know how it is because I don't think that I have done this one before... or I just don't remember. ;-) I have been doing GS,SH and Pyramid for so long that the other workouts draw a blank.

Let's see...today's news: My daughter missed her train this morning. (Seems to be the on going daily routine) She decided to go in later which turned out to mean taking my car into Boston. (I had a bad feeling about this one) As it turns out I should have listened to my gut feelings because she ended up getting in an accident. Luckily no one was injured but my car now has the front bumper cracked in half and is just there. The right head is loose because it has no support to keep it in its place. All in all, the accident started from some wise guy slamming on his brakes for no reason, which took off after the car in front of my daughter hit the cement blocks on the left side of the highway. This made my daughter hit him because she couldn't pull to the right in time because of the traffic. Another car hit my daughter from the rear and he too took off from the scene.
All in all I guess my insurance will be going up but at least my DD is not injured and it could have been so much worse. :(

I hope everyone has a good workout tonight and a restful night afterwards. I have to go pick up my husband from work with his car that I borrowed so my daughter could take mine. He is not going to be happy....but just have to remind him that this too will pass.

UGH! I just realized I should have done PP instead of SS!!!! Oh well, I got a good workout anyway. Those explosive lunges are killers!

Heidi, Sorry about your daughter and car! I bet she is pretty shook up. I know you can get "DOMS" from car wrecks too. How old is she?

Oh, I'm glad that you're daughter is okay! Car accidents are always kind of scary.

I ended up taking a rest day yesterday just such a busy week. Last night kids had hockey practice and school Christmas concert. Today I got BootCamp done. Kim
 
December Rotation Check-in

Mercy! I am so tired this week. The stress at work is wiping me out, and I have not been sleeping well this week. I have been awake since 2:00 a.m. I am looking forward to a restful weekend.

My Wednesday workout was the Body Max 2 timesaver cardio premix. I prefer the longer cardio blast premix. As much as I like the finished combos with no breakdown, I do not want to repeat them that many times! The choreography is not dancy enough for that many repetitions. Not to mention, I prefer the full cardio segment because I love the fun music in this one! The cardio and weights premix is my favorite one on this DVD.

My Thursday workout was the original Boot Camp. The core work still slays me! The time flies in this one, and I love the kickboxing moves. The terminators never get easier. I confess that I watched Cathe do those. I was seriously dragging my wagon through this workout. I do not think I lost cardio endurance last month though. I feel like I am coming down with something. It is possible that my body is still detoxing from the party Sunday night. I suspect that I unknowingly ate something I am allergic to like MSG. My ankles are swollen and appear to have donuts around them. Eek!

I forgot to mention this in my last update, but I definitely lost lower body muscle endurance last month. The plie squats and lunges in Muscle Max were unusually hard this week! I was surprised because I usually add the standing segment of Gym Style Legs. Muscle Max did not have enough lower body work for me the last time I did it prior to this week. It was very challenging Tuesday morning! Leaner Legs would make me cry now!

I did some comfort eating yesterday. That is a temptation for me when I do not feel great, and I caved. My portions were not out of control and my calories were likely at a maintenance level (not that I count calories), but my choices were not good. Today is a new day with fresh mercies. Praise God!

Cathe is waiting for me with the Low Impact Circuit cardio blast timesaver premix plus Butts and Guts abs. I am sleepy now and think I need a nap first!

Hello and Good Morning to you all,

Thank you Kate and Kim for your concern for my daughter. She was pretty shook up but otherwise ok. This car has been my bad luck penny for a couple years now. It has had so many mechanical problems that now with this accident it is that time to get rid of it. My husband said he would sell it at an auction.

I am just so glad that my DD is not injured because it could have been so much worse. She was stuck in the middle of all these cars!

Oh Kate...my DD is 21. My oldest child...(young man) is 22. My other 2 boys are 18 and 12. What a gap huh!?

Speaking of DD...I have to get her up! She has a big exam at school today. BBL

Kate: PP was great...I like that it goes fast at only 44 minutes. I was wondering why you were doing SS. I thought maybe you didn't prefer PP...

Well, today I am going to add IMAX2 to my stretching because my sister is coming Sunday from Florida and I will be taking a rest day on Monday for sure. So, I thought I would extend my workouts until then and then maybe not get behind.

Hi Kathy,

Thank you! She is doing ok today. Just all nerved up. Worse, she had a big test today and she feels that she did awful on it. :( I don't think she could concentrate.

I had PP scheduled for today but I woke up feeling shaky and sick from TOM. :-( I am calling today a rest day. Just don't feel up to it right now.
Maybe later tonight I will try some sort of cardio but not a guarantee.

Aww, I hope you have fun at the tea party. DD and I have tea parties sometimes, I have to admit I don't always have the patience to sit and do stuff like that with her (but I try) My MIL is great and will sit with her for hours playing tea party etc

Just finished the LIC premix and B & G atability abs. Got to go get the kids from school It's super cold out, it was minus thirty something last night. Kim

Wow, Kim that is cold. I guess I should complain about our cold weather this week. It was only about 17 degrees this morning and warmed up to about 34...

Kate, hope your tea was nice. My daughter is a little old for that. But, we used to play Barbie dolls together alot..She loved that.

Heidi: Hopefully your daughter can retest under the circumstances???

Kate- that would be fun but I'm a little too far away. I'm in Winnipeg, canada. We're about 2 and half hours directly north of Grand Forks, North Dakota.

Kathy- Hope you enjoy your visit with your sister. She might complain about your temperatures coming from the Florida heat.

Imax2 was yesterday, Just finished HSC - I wanted to fall asleep when I laid on the floor to do core. That was a great sweaty workout! Glad I got it out of the way - I don't think I would've wanted to do that tonight!

Today it is Christmas tree day. We are going to get one from church..One of the organizations at church sells trees fro Christmas. So, we like to support the church prgorams and buy it there...Have a great day...
