Drum Roll Please........
The winner is.......well, actually it's a tie. Yes, you read right, a tie! I simply could not choose who was better between these two ladies so after going back and forth for days on end, viewing both auditions over and over again, I simply could not say one was better than the other. Rather than having their hard efforts be decided by way of a coin toss I decided to just have both of them be winners. So without any further ado the winners are:
Nancy Tremblay and Amanda Kraus Blancett.....Congratulations to both of you. I'm excited to have you join me in a future DVD. It will be a wonderful experience and one you will carry with you for a lifetime.
While I am so very excited for both of our winners for their outstanding audition, I have to tell you that going through these auditions was probably one of the hardest things I had to do. You all impressed me beyond belief and poured your heart and souls into your performance. If only you could have seen me locked away in a quiet room, while watching your auditions with my undivided attention. I would get so happy as you introduced yourself on tape and internally cheer you on with a big smile on my face. I could sense you were nervous, who wouldn't be, and I would tell you to take a deep breath and relax. I felt like I was right there in the room with you watching you perform. You said such cute things to me.."This one's for you Cathe", "Cathe these are my favorite" , "Was that 8 reps, I need Cedie here to help me", "I know those Burpees are coming soon, aren't they?", "I love you Cathe"....the list goes on with so many cute comments that just had me laughing and thoroughly enjoying your performances. And I have to tell you how impressed I am with your form and strength too...wow, EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU did your pushups on your TOES!!!! We even had one male audition in our group (Hi Charlie) and he did some amazing kickboxing and strength moves. At one point I remember just getting such a rush of emotion as my eyes filled with water. It just hit me in the most special way that here you are, so very nervous, yet willing to put yourself out there to shoot for your dream. That just moves me beyond words. I'm so very proud of all of you and am honored that I have impacted your life and inspired you to show such a display of confidence and pride. While I was only able to pick two winners for this audition, I can honestly tell you that you are ALL WINNERS in my eyes! Thank you for your time, your effort, your enthusiasm, and your dedication. You have made me one of the proudest fitness instructors in the industry!!!!
