Hey there Ladies !
The weekend went by quickly with no workouts. Planned on doing something Sun. but ended up doing gardening instead. That was at least a few calories in the almost 100' weather.
This AM was GS chest & back - supersets premix. Can't do many push ups these day with shoulder grinding & cracking and a bad lower back. That premix pretty much skipped all the pushups so worked well for me.
Diana - ITA on a great job with the workouts this weekend! And way to go getting up early today to get your w/o done. I know it is hard to readjust. Until I began workouts again I didn't have a hard time waking up but now I sleep right up until the alarm goes off. As long as I don't piddle much (watch the news or snuggle with pup) I am good for at least 45 minutes if I can make up my mind on what workout to do.
Think I will start a rotation for August so I don't have to make mine up as I go. Works better for me. Hope work gets better for you. I push hard to get our managers to set up a training plan AHEAD of time or it just does not happen easily. Nice job losing a couple #'s!
LL -Well you sure are staying busy. I tend to forget what it is like when kids are not in school. And I only had three ! Sorry about your bad TTM but guess it will get better soon. You are keeping busy and even if you are just moving, it is all good! Congrats on the BB challenge - I have HHA and it is not hard but if you concentrate on your abs mine got sore. However, I was not really fit. It was a slight sweat fest on the first round but a little better on round 2 if that is the freebie you would get. It is a bit "dancy" if you like that sort of thing. Way to go on the 3#! LOL you counted 106 chocolate chips!
Laura - Good to hear you are slowing back to w/o's. Make sure to take it easy. Bummer about the personal 5h!t you and DH are dealing with. I got a perfect FB post on worrying recently - will try to pass it on . . . Sometimes you just have to get through it. Hopefully you and DH can lean on each other and put it behind you soon. <crossing fingers> his testing comes out good.
Wendy - Gotta know what "16@20/40" means . . . nice job on the wo. How much total time was that? Hope your packing and tossing is going well . . . ITA with Tina - been in our place 14 years and have not "purged" since then!
Need to for sure!
Tina - we have had very humid weather too, especially for Calif. Can't believe it has rained a couple times in July! Where are you and it that common? Great job on the long ride . . . how many miles are you shooting for this year? ITA nothing better than relearning as children get educated. Loved "working" in the classroom and library when mine were in elementary school.
Tomorrow will be cardio - LL has me thinking about Afterburn now!
Until tomorrow . . .
