Debbie- Another kickbutt weight workout for you today with Back & biceps, WTG!! Gees on your barbell biceps curls and barbell row's, that to me is heavy you go girlfriend that is awesome~!!! :D;):):cool: Have a gorgeous and blessed day!:);)

Roxie- Yay happy vacation to you. I see you did X10 Fat burning circuit, good workout. Oh if any workout seems to have too many jumping jacks just take out the jump. Raise the arm up as you would for jumping jack take out the jump and just to a side step and repeat for each side. Have a great and well deserved fun vacation.:D:cool::)

Chris and Belinda- I hope you both have a great workout planned for today and there is spring weatther where you are so you can get out and enjoy it. Have a blessed day girls and enjoy the change of season.:);):D

Today I did Cardio Coach #5. This one is becoming my favorite. I had a great workout and did very well with it! However, I have a complaint about my FitBit. I just don't get why it doesn't clock my heart rate correctly. It's like every other HR monitor I've had. Once it learns me and my habits it shows that I am not reaching my level 3 while doing these workouts. My average HR throughout this workout (and all the other CC's) is 114 bpm. Huh? I can't seem to get my HR above 134 bpm anymore. And I'm huffing and puffing so I'm working hard. I don't know why this is happening. My treadmill HR clocks me at all different rates, it will say 156, then 178 then drop to 120 all in about 10 seconds. It's ridiculous. My resting HR is 42-45, so maybe that's why? It's that low when I'm sitting so I'm sure it's lower when I sleep. Not sure how I'm alive sometimes. LOL!!! Oh well, I know they are only a technical device and not 100% accurate but it's frustrating to see these numbers when I really work hard at my workouts.

Workout was 54 minutes, ran 3.36 miles, burned 340 calories (TM said 517) and went 7143 steps. Almost to 10,000 and it's only 7:24!!! :)

Debbie- Great workout today with Cardio Coach 5, glad your feeling good and having fun with it. Yes, its frustrating about different HR monitors, they all seem to vary widely, you'd think they's be at least close. I gave up on Heart Rate Monitors because of that. I think the best gauge is how do you feel? How hard do you feel you are working. Make a note of it so you can see how you did last time. Hang in there and just do your best and monitor how you are feeling is more accurate of a reading than anything. Take care and have a fit and blessed day,:);):(

Hi ladies,

My dog Brawler had an MRI, X-rays, blood work and spinal tap done today. The MRI took over an hour. He is still pretty out of it from the Anesthesia. They also took spinal fluid for analysis to screen for inflammatory conditions. They also took 2 blood tests. One of the test we will get the results in a few day's, the other one we will get in 7-10 day's. The MRI showed disc degeneration/bulging and nerve root impingement (which they are conducting additional tests). We had an appointment at the Veterinary Orthopedic Surgery & Sports Medicine in Annapolis, MD at 10:30 a.m and didn't leave until 5:30 p.m. Annapolis is 1.5 hour (one way) from where we live. I will be back in the morning. Good night.
 
Today I worked Legs and Shoulders. Had a great workout. Fitbit said I burned like 105 calories which might be accurate because I hardly broke a sweat with this one.

This is what I did:

GS Chest & Tri's warmup.

3 sets/10 reps each with 1 minute rest between each set:

Leg Press Station: 125#
Plie Squats: 25#
Elevated Deadlifts: 55#

Overhead Barbell Press: 40#
Lateral Raise: 10's
Upright Row: 35#

I had time to walk 1 mile on my treadmill as well.

Nora - Nice workout and calorie burn!! You are amazing with your workouts.

Chris - I hope you feel better soon. That sucks!

Belinda - Your poor dog. I sure hope he's ok. I hate to see them sick and they can't tell us what's wrong with them. So sad. I'll keep him in my prayer.

Thank you, Nora! He went through a lot yesterday. He is resting a lot. I tried to take him for a short walk, doc said he needs to walk so his muscles don't get weak. He still hates those Neo Paws shoes. He is not doing so well in those. Fantastic job on your workout, girl.
 
Hallo ladies,

I am done with KB Scorcher Diversity and ICE MTB Timesaver premix: #4 Timesaver MishMosh - 31:38. Lots of core work in KB Scorcher Diversity. I was going to add a ab workout, but my core is worked out :) Once I am done with finishing 200 DVD's, I will do a full rotation of KB Scorcher. I really like it. Dasha talks no stop through the entire workout, lol. I know for some that would be a problem. It didn't border me at all, lol.

Just to clarify Wednesday was my only vacation day worked the other days. Today we moved youngest DD and her DH into their first home now if only she would go into labor baby was due on the 5th.

Today was Chest & Tri's. Had a great workout. Went to Applebee's last night and what happened to their food? Yuck. Won't be going there anymore. The last two times I've been there I didn't like the food. Not sure what they did but they need to change it back.

This is what I did:

GS Chest & Tri's warmup.

3 sets/8 reps each with 1 minute rest between each set:

Pushups: 3 set/12 reps (warmup)
Barbell Bench Press: 75#
High Incline Dumbbell Press: 30's
Low Incline Flyes: 25's

Lying Barbell Extensions: 40#
Close Grip Barbell Press: 60#
Double Arm Kickbacks: 10's

Walked on my treadmill for 1 mile.

Good afternoon,

I also did GAIAM YOGA for Flexibility & Stress Relief: Smooth & Stretch w/Rodney Yee = 20 min and Relax & Restore w/ Suzanne Deason = 20 min. I am glad I did the 2nd workout with Suzanne. Rodney was more lower body and Suzanne's was more upper body. I really needed that yoga.

Quick update they did an emergency C-Section on DD baby weighs 5lbs 4oz 18" long he is on oxygen and a feeding tube.
 
Today I did Cardio Coach #1 and had just an ok workout. Wasn't feeling it today. HR seemed high (even though my FB showed low readings) and breathing was off. Just an off day I guess.

Workout was 36 minutes, ran 2.32 miles, burned 221 calories (TM said 338) and went 4812 steps.

I also did the abs from SJ&P, love that one.

Roxie - Congrats again grandma!! Is the baby premature? I hope he is doing well.
