Today I did: XTRAIN - All Out Low Impact Hiit - Premixes:# 12 Timesaver Floor and Disc Cardio + Core #1 - 37:41 plus a walk.

Waving HI to Jodi, Roxie, Debbie and Nora.

Today at lunch I did a 1 Mile Fast Interval Walk with Jessica Smith on YouTube.

After work I did STS Disc 12, Legs. The weights I used for squats and deadlifts in this one were what I normally use as my heaviest weight. I'm a little nervous for what's to come! :eek:

Debbie-that stinks your muscles are so tight. Hopefully with some rest, they will loosen up.

Nora-get some rest! Your body needs it.

Belinda-great job today! I love AOLIH. It's the workout which started my Cathe obsession. :)

Roxie-puke status...funny! What kind of spin bike do you have? I'd love to get one so I could do Cathe's spin workouts.

Today was Biceps and Shoulders. Had a really good workout, muscles were burning!!!

Biceps
EZ Bar Curl:
40# - 10/10/9 reps
Incline Dumbbell Curls: 12's - 3 sets/12 reps
Alternate Hammer Curls: 15's - 3 sets/15 reps

Shoulders
Upright Rows:
30# - 3 sets/12 reps
Seated Alternate Front Raise: 10's - 3 sets/10 reps
Dumbbell Overhead Press: 15's - 10/10/9 reps
Lateral Raise: 8's - 2 sets/15 reps

This workout was 40 minutes and I burned 84 calories - WTH? I had only 45 seconds rest and this was a hard workout. Not sure how I only burned 84 calories.

Finished off with a 1 mile walk on the treadmill.

Nice workouts everyone and hope you have great workouts today! And Nora, I agree with Roxie - take some rest. Your body needs it.

Good morning,

STS Total Body Workout DVD - Premixes: 1.Timesaver - Compound Only Exercises 53.44 min + 30 min full body pilates and 30 min JS Pyramid walk is done.

Roxie - I always wanted a spin bike :( We have room, but I am trying to downsize. No more big purchases for me unless I absolutely NEED it :)

Jodi - nice job on STS D12. I always had to adjust my weights in M1, for some reason it was way to heavy for an endurance workout :( M2, I really picked up the weights.

Debbie - no way you only burned 84 cal in 45 min? Something doesn't sound right, IMO :) Good job with your workout.

Nora - good job today.

After work I did Scrambled #4 premix from ICE Low Impact Sweat and 10 Minute Strong Standing Abs with Jessica Smith on YouTube.

Today I did Cardio Coach 1. Hamstring is feeling better but it got tight again as I was running. The heat of the bean bag I have helped a lot. It totally has helped relax the muscle and it feels like it's healing. I'm going to keep using it here and there to help with the tightness. It feels wonderful when it's on my hamstring.

Workout was 36 minutes, I ran 2.31 miles, burned 232 calories (TM said 329) and went 4828 steps. Also did the ab work from Cardio & Weights and did the stretch from C&W although that one really isn't one of Cathe's better stretch routine. Had a great workout!!!

Today's workouts : MMA: Boxing + 60 min Winsor pilates. Haven't done that one in a very long time, , for some reason it was a lot easier than I remembered. I am on a pilates kick lately :p can't get enough. It's also helping me with my back pain.

Debbie - nicely done this morning.

Jodi - great job yesterday.

Roxie - I noticed you do a lot of studio Sweat workouts :) Have you done any other ones besides spinning?

Nora - good job.

Today I did STS Disc 10 - Chest, Biceps and Shoulders, and the STS Extended Stretch. This workout was nowhere near as crazy as last week's chest workout.

I am done with Meso 1!!! Woohoo!!!!!

Debbie-good job with Cardio Coach. I hope your hamstring continues to improve!

Belinda-I love MMA Boxing! I need to do that one soon. Good job today.

Roxie-thanks for the bike info. I think that style may not be available anymore but I looked at some of their other models. I like that they have the screen which tells you calories, etc. One of them may go on my Christmas list. :cool:

Nora-even with battling the flu, you are rocking it! Please get some rest!
 
Today was Legs & Triceps. Had a really good workout.

Legs
Plie Squats:
30# - 3 sets/12 reps
Vertical Leg Press: 135# - 3 sets/10 reps
Split Stance Squat: 30# - 3 sets/10 reps

Triceps
Lying Barbell Extension:
30# - 3 sets/10 reps
One Arm Dumbbell Extension: 12# - 3 sets/12 reps
Weighted Dips: 30# - 3 sets/15 reps

This workout was 35 minutes and I burned 78 calories. I had only 45 seconds rest and this was a hard workout. Calorie burns went down from Monday to now. Monday I burned 97, Wednesday 84 and now 78. I just don't get it.

Finished off with a 1 mile walk on a 3% incline on the treadmill.

Hi ladies!

This morning I did a 10-Minute Interval Walk with Jessica Smith on YouTube and Cathe's MMA Boxing (great minds think alike Belinda! :)).

I may do more walking later on if I have time. My "active recovery" week from STS will be vacation. Woohoo!! We leave tomorrow morning so I'm scrambling today to get everything prepared for the week. I'll check in again if I do anything else.
