Roxie- Thanks for the kind words. I workout like I do because I am fighting to keep my mobility. MS is a disease that aims to take it away. I also know that working out helps stimulate and keep active motor skills and keeps nerves firing so I can move. Plus I would like to loose 20 or so pounds. So I work out like I do so I can do it. The saying use it or loose it is very much true with MS. I am grateful every day I can move, or write my name because I know it is a gift to be treasured. I hope you are feeling better and easing back into all your usual activies with ease. Take care and have a blessed weekend, and enjoy those precious GS's.:);)

Nora-I can't imagine you have any weight to lose with allbthose workouts.
 
Today I did the workout rotation I have been following and this one was done with drop-sets. Had a great workout. This is what I did:

1:30 minutes rest between each set

Chest & Back
Incline Barbell Press:
75# - 3 sets/8 reps
Dumbbell Flyes: 27's - 3 sets/10 reps
Incline Dumbbell Press: 30's/27's/20's - Drop set, no rest - 10 reps each set

Underhand Barbell Row: 60# - 3 sets/10 reps
One Arm Row: 30# - 3 sets/10 reps
Reverse Flyes: 15's/12's/10's - Drop set, no rest - 10 reps each set

Both sets of drop sets burned like crazy. I wanted to 25's for the last set of dumbbell presses but just couldn't.

I also walked on my treadmill for 2.25 miles. :)

Hope you all have great workouts today!!! Gotta take Bear to the vets, he's peeing on everything. :mad:

Today I did Cardio Coach #3. Been a couple weeks since I've ran on my treadmill due to my knee. Still feeling a little funky. I did ok with this workout. Funny thing, though, I walked 2.5 miles yesterday and jogged/ran 2.5 miles today and had less steps than when I walked. How is that possible?

Workout was 40 minutes, ran 2.69 miles, burned 265 calories.

I did KCM Cardio Pump Kickboxing this morning. Stomach is feeling ten times better today. We are getting ice right now suppose to turn to snow the 10 miles home tonight at 6 is going to be fun.

EZ Barbell Curl:

Dumbbell Curl: 15's - 3 sets/10 reps
Hammer Curl: 20's/15's/12's - Drop set, no rest - 8 reps each set

EZ Bar Overhead Extension: 30# - 3 sets/10 reps
Weighted Bench Dips: 45# - 3 sets/10 reps
Dumbbell Overhead Extension: 30's/25's/20's - Drop set, no rest - 10/8/8 reps

I also walked on my treadmill for 1 mile.
