Hi everyone!
I'm definitely having a busier day than I'd anticipated!x( I'm only hurting when I walk, it's my darned right ankle giving me grief and my knees are a bit tender, upperbody feels great but my right inner thigh cramped up HARD in the car as I was raising my leg to put my shoe back on. Today I got my car back from getting a body job, it looks so much better and needed to be done before winter, I could poke my finger through the rocker panel, I don't know much about cars but I know that ain't good! It's my Mom's b-day and she just got back from getting a brand new car. The insurance co. wrote her's off after her and Elizabeth's recent accident. I've baked her a cake and will make some cheese and spinach lasagna rolls for supper:9 On a completely different note, how long should I rest now that I've run it?? I'll do yoga and upperbody this week, maybe even LM on Friday}( What are the guidlines for rest after a half? I'm also wondering how long is too long to break from running before it's like starting all over again?
Judy, thanks! I think it's great that you've found the right balance of running to fit into your life and schedule. We really do have to listen to the aches and pains, I'm learning that!
Cathy, how come your not teaching today? Having a week day off is such a nice break! Pumpkin bread mmmmm, maybe I'll make some for our Thanksgving next weekend..:9 I just put a pumpkin on our porch today!
Laura, Wow, I'm so impressed with your time! How long have you had the love of running, sounds like you are a determined and seasoned runner. That bronchitis sounds brutal! You should feel very pleased with yourself!

Thanks sooooo much!!! It really was an amazing experience! I got your PM, it's really nice cathing up with you.
Barb, I love the premixes on PP and never do the workout as is. Your really liking the i-climbs hey?...I'm becoming intrigued by these workouts, Cheetahs are loving them! Thanks Barb, I really do feel accomplished
Thanks for that Karen!!!
Jess, thanks Marathoner!!!:7 I tell you Girl, I have a WHOOOOOLE new respct for marathoners! WOW, is all I can say!!!!
((((Elaine))))) Yes, you can relate all too well and I'm sorry for that
Enjoy your time with your brother, he'll be so happy that you're there! Are you tapering? I can't remember when your marathon is.
Hey Sunny! Thanks, sounds like a busy day off!!
Christine! Thanks for the ^5:7 Too bad about the festival, sounds like you made the best of it though. Enjoy your tapering week and your run today. It's so true, the right instructor can make all of the difference in yoga.
Welcome Kim
I did most of my training alone but did enjoy the option of running with the group. Nice to have you here
Thanks Carole:* Truth be told, it's as much your fault as Ruth's that I did this. When I first started posting here I asked 'when did you start working out and what motivates you to continue', you answered with a beautiful post about when you started running and how it had been a part of you most of your life and your love for running shone through bright and clear. I found it fascinating and interesting and had never thought of running that way, I always thought it was like an unpleasant penance to run before I read you words! You have a special place in my heart and I feel very sentimental about it today
You touch so many in ways you'll never know! Sooo happy to hear about John's homecoming and Adam's up coming wedding. Some happy, positive turns for your family!
The Girls are home now, gotta go!
Take Care
Laurie
