LOL I love it when Sean calls me a Barracuda during the 4th set of hill/sprints of that very frist challenge. Makes me giggle like a flirting school girl! LOL

Results? How'd you all do?

Me......8+ miles, treadmill, using the add-on of challenge 3 of V8. BIG OL' SWEATY MESS!
Not bad, considering I got about 3 hours of sleep after a night out with SO to a comedy club, and 2 beer (or is it beers).

Thanks to the girls who suggested the add-on in the first place.

Great job to everybody!!!

What a way to start the weekend!!!

YOU GUYS ROCK!!!

Gayle

Me too Michele, as soon as I'm done with my coffee. I don't have CC8 (yet), but maybe I'll take you guys up on the challenge with another one....We'll see how I do.

Tanking up on coffee at this moment also and putting on my running shoes I should be tackling this CCPP + chal. 3 of V8 here shortly.

Great workout Gayle even on 3 hours sleep ? WOW! You GO Girl!

Workout complete! I tacked on challenge 3 from CC#8 and boy what a sweaty mess is right!

Sunny, You are going to love CCPP! It's inspiring & incredible!

Everyone, Good luck today and have fun! Thanks for inspiring me! :)

A friend in fitness,
Shirl

Sweaty, messy Barracuda, checking in! Gayle, it's so funny you used that, because I was thinking that if I got here first, I was gonna use that quote too!

I definitely burned off my ice cream this morning. 8.25 miles and challenge 3 from CC#8. I love being able to check that off my to-do list!!!

Here's to Jim! And here's to all of you incredibly inspiring women!

*MWAH*

p.s. I think I might be experiencing an endorphin rush ;)

ETA - how could I forget Sean, whose dulcet tones always convince me that I *can* tackle that hill or bust out on that sprint! Thanks!

All done. I dragged my stationary bike out to the patio and sweated up a storm. Since I don't have CC8 yet, I repeated the last challenge of CCPP. MWAH to all you other sweaty babes and to Jim and Sean!

This first time Barracuda is DONE!!!

WOW! What an amazing experience...

Ladies - thank you for turning me on to this and inspriring me every day. Life would not be the same without you!

Jim and Sean - you make the world a better place and improve the quality of life for so many people. I hope you are aware of the impact you have on all of us!! :7

:*

Done -- TM walking for me after I did PLB --- that tweaked hammie is def talking to me!

Ummm -- guys -- next scheduled CCPP day is Sat 7/26. Who's gonna' convince Coach Sean that he NEEDS to be in Jersey that morning to guide us through it PERSONALLY? Guess that would have to be BEFORE we go workout with Cathe 3x in one day huh? :) :)

Another first timer is done!!!

WOW!!!!What a workout and amazing experience!!!

Thanks to Michele for turning me on to CC and convincing me that I could not live without PP! You were so right. I needed this in my life:)

I banged this out early today! I didn't really have time for it, or time to post this, but here I am and it's DONE! Wow!! What an incredible workout.....no wonder you all rave about it so much.

It was 7 miles on the elliptical and I was a sweaty mess.:)

I'm no longer a press play virgin.;-) :7 :p

Another Sweaty Exhilarated Barracuda checking in! :7

Wow! CCPP with V.8's challenge 3 is a totally different monster :p

OMG!!!! I can't believe I actually did it and I am so hyped that I finished it all the way through. I pulled in just under 6 miles at 5.7 the most these short legs have done

High 5's to you All!

Great Workout!!!

Now I'm off to peel off my wet clothes, shower and eat! :)

Awesome job everyone!!!

I wanted to join you but I tweaked my knee playing soccer with DDx( yesterday and thought I better rest it. I was there in spirit with you all!!

Thanks Michele for the link to Jim & Sean's messages. Talk about goosebumps. I pray for Jim's comfort & healing and I am glad he knows how much his story and inspiration mean to us Cathe-ites. As always, Sean is just a sweetheart.

Have a great weekend and if the knee feels better tomorrow, I give CCPP a go.

JJ

I'm done, and even with the added challenge from vol. 8, I did really really good (even though my legs are all wobbly)!!! :D

I dedicated my workout to Jim -- I hope you're lifted and empowered by our energy, just as you've inspired, encouraged, and lifted us.

And to Sean's A#1, Tanya in Australia, Kitty's family, and Debbie in Ohio -- you've all inspired me by the grace and dignity you've shown during tough times.

And to all my Cathe pals -- you guys are the ABSOLUTE BEST!! And how FUN that we have so many PP newbies!!! :* :* :*

And to Sean -- What can I say -- none of this would be possible without you! Thanks for pushing us to be better.

Yes! I just finished! What a monster with CCV8 challenge 3 added. I didn't think I would make it on that last added challenge but I just thought of Jim and his very inspirational message to the Cathe girls and knew I could do it, and I did! 6.75 miles and now I get to ride high on these endorphins.

It was a great experience knowing that everyone else was doing it with me. Thanks for letting me join in.

I finished a while ago and let me just say...Double WOW! What a fun, fun workout. I did it on the elliptical and once again the time FLEW. Amy couldn't join us today so I recruited DH. He did Vol. 8 for the first time (and the first time doing an all elliptical workout might I add!) and we had a ball together. I especially loved the first 10 hill (interval) challenge. Oh, and the music ROCKED! I felt like it was Lord of the Rings with a driving beat! :)

Carolyn

ETA: Thanks for the link, Michele. :)

Checking in a little late, but I did do CCPP this morning! It was fantastic! Only 5 miles for me (I'm slow, and I didn't do the "bonus burn"), but it's the longest distance I've run in a very long time. :D

Awesome job everyone! ;)

THAT.WAS.IN.CREDIBLE. Absolutely incredible!!! I have no idea how far I went or any other stats. I was way too much into the workout to even care. And during the Vol.8 add-on I was on pure endorphins. :7 :7 But I can tell you one thing: I've never seen such a big puddle of sweat around my elliptical, and my clothes were literally dripping.

And I just broke my promise to myself to have a computer-free weekend... all because of Press Play Saturday. Whattaworkout!

You ladies rock. Sean rocks.

Now, I simply MUST figure out a way to see Jim's message. This stupid dial-up is enough to drive a person insane. :p

See y'all Monday!!!
