Bodybuilding/Sculpting check-in;-)

Hello ladies. I have two more days of working out before a week long vacation. Then when I get back I am planning to do a 6 week version of Cathe's May rotation.

Renee, my heels are a constant problem that I work through. The key, for me, is good shoes. I am actually having a problem with that right now. Sometimes it becomes a money pit. I have bought several new pairs of workout shoes and keep going back to the old ones because of pain. Several different brands work at first, but I have a problem with supination. I have had that problem my whole life but it never affected me until the accident. Now if I can't get a shoe that holds my heels tight and gives them support, I start supinating and the shoe has "heel slippage" which results in pain. After the first year it seemed like it was all uphill and I surprised everyone, including my surgeon with my level of recovery. He gave lots of warnings about the long term consequences of this injury. I hoped that if I stay active I will avoid them or at least, they will take longer to hit me than it does others. But this past 6 months... I've been having problems. It hasn't stopped me from working out or doing HIITs/tabatas/plyomentrics, but I do sometimes suffer afterwards. Fingers crossed the most recent pair of shoes I ordered will do the trick for a while.

But hey, if we have physical problems, there is nothing wrong with modification. We can still get the best workout we are capable of getting regardless of what we have to do to accommodate our balance issues. For instance, Cathe and some other trainers (Patrick Goudeau is one) have a lot of one legged strength moves. I modify by either keeping on toe on the ground or holding onto a wall. Using a body bar is a great idea, btw, that I might start using. The Firm used a body bar in their older workouts that use the Fanny Lifter--they are great for balance and you still got a great workout.

Mary--looks like you had a great recovery week! Are you gearing up for another heavy strength week?

Today I did Cardio Leg Blast, tomorrow is Muscle Max and Sunday is Patrick's Body Weight Blast--then it's off for a week of vacation!

Roegriff and Nathalie--are you still with us? How are you doing?

Hello from France/Still away from home

Hi Everyone,

Yes I am still working out in the hotel as possibly as I can. Today workout was 30 minutes (No)-(dread)mill :D interval session on incline:D.
I always keep my treadmill session or 30 minutes maximum, after that I would rather have fun doing something else:p;).

After I did Lunges 12 reps twice and 16 reps twice with dumbbell 8-10 pounds, one arm row 18 pounds, Military push up 4 set 12 reps twice 16 reps twice, dips on bench same rep paterns, lateral raise same reps patern and one leg deadlift.

My week rotation has been same has previously posted:

Monday: 30 interval on incline 2.0 on a threadmill. Followed by abs

Tuesday: 30 minutes interval plus chest and triceps 10 reps 2 exercises for each muscle group. Push up and dips body weight

wednesday: 30 eliptical session one arm row with dumbbell 8kg, biceps hammercul

Won't do any cathe workout this weekend as I am away from home. Gym hotel is minimally equipped!:eek:

To Mary How is Gym style rotation going? Jen yes I am still on the wagon! I am just keeping my body conditioned at the moment, not aiming for any goal till mid July when the travelling stops. I am enjoying the moment though:):)

Hope you are all well.

Kind Regards everyone,

Hi Ladies,
With the nicer weather I've felt so much busier and more energetic than the first week of May. Here's what I've done:

Sun: gardening
Mon: Bike 12 miles
Tues: XTrain Burn Sets: Chest, Back, & Shoulders
Wed: Rodney Yee's Power Up Yoga: Energize and Breathe
Thurs: Cardio Leg Blast
Fri: XTrain Burn Sets: Bi's & Tri's + Kari Anderson's Sweat Express II
Sat: Tracey Mallett's F.I.T.: Total Body Burn and Chiseled Core

Sun: Ultimate Yogi Detox + Bike 9 miles
Mon: Bob Harper's Totally Ripped Core + Bike 19 miles
Tues: Gym Style Chest and Triceps
Wed: rest
Thurs: Tonique Mat: On the Side Workout (17 min + wu/cd)
Fri: Gym Style Back, Shoulders, and Biceps
Sat: Leah Sarago's Ballet Body Core

... And that is the end of my Gym Style month. In week 3, I used Xtrain instead of GS. I definitely noticed some improvement by week 4. GS week 1 started out a little too hard, which annoyed me, but ended week 4 with a nice pleasant burn and completed sets. However I didn't get my last leg workout in...

Now this is so disappointing -----
Tuesday night I injured my right calf. I was so disappointed because the next day was supposed to be my leg workout. So I thought, at least it was a good thing that the next part of the rotation is Low Impact Series, right? I'd probably be healed for it the next week. I was talking to someone and some things he'd said convinced me that a doctor visit might not be a bad idea. Friday (yesterday) I saw a doctor at a sports medicine clinic. My achilles tendon is torn. :( I had plans to do biking, kettlebell, and focus on my core before getting back to STS. Now the only thing I think I'll be able to do is upper body, Butts and Guts floor work, and some other types of mat work (Tonique?), maybe pilates? I'm not familiar with that. No cardio, no yoga. I don't have much in my DVD collection to work with. :( My MRI is Tuesday and probably by the end of the week I will have a cast or brace and crutches. Then about 6 months until recovery. Feeling kind of lost...

I can't believe it has taken me so long to post but I literally have no time anymore. I've still been working out every day but since I took a week off to go on vacation I am buried at work. But I at least wanted to drop by and see you Mary was doing! Did you get your MRI done? How are you doing?

Hi Ladies,
I hope your workouts are going well. Last Tuesday I had the MRI. I have a ruptured Achilles tendon, 1.5 cm separation. I decided to go with the non-surgery treatment. An interesting tidbit: my doctor told me non-surgery is more commonly done in Europe where in the US most patients choose surgery. I also read that this occurs most frequently in 30-40 year olds and the male to female ratio is 20:1. With both procedures the recovery time and results are similar, result having 90-95% of strength recovered.

On Friday I had a bright pink cast put on with toes pointed downward. A cast will be on for 6 weeks, non weight-bearing, changed every 2 weeks with a gradual flatter footed position. Then I'll have a boot for a while, not sure how long. It's only been a few days but, holy cow!, being on crutches is hard!! It takes a lot of endurance standing on one leg while holding the other one up. I feel like a wimp. I can't imagine how hard this would be for the average non-exerciser. And the hand grip on crutches, maybe I'm thinking tricep dips on bars? - my palms are getting sore. The hardest part is standing on one leg - that hip burns after a short time. Church this morning was challenging. I'm sure I'll get used to it, right? This is my right foot so I can't even drive. :(

Jen and Renee, you've had some really serious foot surgeries! You give me hope that I will *will* recover, but having to "relearn how to walk" with my right foot sounds kinda scary. I pre-ordered Cathe's Ripped w/ HiiT, but with damped spirits and less enthusiasm than when I first heard the news (pre-injury). I just hope I can do them next winter.

So I'm feeling a bit tired and restless, everything I try to do is hard. Bathing is hard! I'm going to try to do 2-3 workouts a week for now. I especially need to do at least an upper body workout weekly. My left leg and glute is getting quite a workout daily. :p:rolleyes:

Last week:
Monday: Turbo Barre (skipped Thigh Focus, Calf Raises, and Curtsy Lunges/Pulses - all on toes)
Wednesday: KCM Muscle Up Workout #1: Chest/Back, Shoulders/Core (this is a great workout) :D
Saturday (now in a cast): Jessica Smith YouTube Chair Workout 1+2, seated cardio and strength (I'll probably do this one often)

Jen, have you started Gym Style?

Renee, did you begin STS?

Roegriff, how are you doing?

Nathalie, you are doing great I'm sure! It must be challenging going back and forth, and keeping up with the workouts.

Hope to hear from you all soon. :D

I'm so sorry to hear about your calf! I can not remember your screen name lol!!
I just wanted to say I am praying for a speedy recovery! Yes it is possible! Even the past two years I had PF that kept flaring up and would set me back but I just did other things like upper body. But when I had my surgeries a few years ago it really did set me back on my legs but that is because I had other things to going on and when I was healing the healing went on to long and I ended up getting lazy lol. But I got back at it again and I wish I didn't stop for so long because I think it made me weak in my legs. But there is hope! Listen to your body and don't give up but give your self time to heal.

I did start sts. I did sts last week I doubled up on Sunday and did disk one and three on one day cause I wanted to hit legs two times a week still. So I did flex train for my full body on Friday at the end of the week to hit the legs second time.
But today was meso 1 disk 4 week two I was going to do legs with it but I was really to tired this time. So I may do it when I do back and tris not sure and tomorrow is HIIT 40/20 I think? I am doing shock cardio Sts with the Sts strength but if I do not have a Sts cardio DVD I swap a turbo fire out or a kickboxing DVD I like of Cathes or that one of Patrick with heather Corndolf in it. That makes it fun or I go jogging for some fresh air! I want to lose this fat!!
You girls are such inspirations !! All this workouts u all do is crazy

Hello ladies! I have a few more minutes today, so I am going to try and reply. Mary—though your injury is different, the treatment sounds similar to what I went through with my shattered heels. Though I had surgery. But afterwards both feet were casted and I was non-weight bearing (so in a wheelchair) for 12 weeks, then partial weight-bearing (on crutches) for 2 more. By the time I could walk w/out crutches, I was seriously deconditioned—and of course, there was still pain. But I did my best to exercise through it. I used bands to work my upper body and did some body weight exercises that did not require putting weight on my feet. I did pilates and some yoga. I also rode a recumbent stationary bike every day. I won’t lie. It sucked. And it was hard when I was able to walk again—I couldn’t do anything anywhere near the level pre-accident. I actually started working out “seriously” again with Leslie Sansone! When the drunk driver hit me I was in the middle of P90X, so that is a big difference! But I kept at it and in about year I was doing P90X again. So injuries do suck and they are depressing, but if you do what you can you will at least stay in the habit of exercising even if you cannot do what you want. And habit is so important IMHO. Once out of the hospital (I was in the hospital a month—so I was actually non-weight bearing 4 months) I made a point to exercise every single day. Anyway, when you can use the injured leg again, take it slow! I always listened to my body back then and I progressed better than anyone expected. My problem with my wrist was that I wasn’t listening to my body!

I also pre-ordered Cathe’s new Ripped w/ HIIT and I am so excited! I am sorry you may not be able to jump into it Mary and I do know how you feel. I remember when I couldn’t walk, Chalene Johnson/Beachbody came out with TurboFire. I remember seeing the trailer for it and crying. At the time, I thought (and my surgeon predicted) I would never be able to exercise like that again. But I did! With no modifications! It was more than a year after the accident, but nevertheless I did! So you will be able to do Ripped w/ HIIT if you just take it slow and listen to your body.

No I have not started Gym Styles yet. After the week in Chicago I needed a damage control week—so all high intensity/metabolic workouts. Unfortunately/fortunately, we had another “mini” vacation right after—this past weekend we spent the weekend in Dallas and I overdid it there, too. So this is another damage control week, but after that, I am doing my version of Cathe’s May rotation for 6 weeks. I will do one week of Slow & Heavy, one week of Gym Styles and one week of 4DS—then repeat it. I’m not sure what I am doing after that. Maybe some Xtrain. But here is my rotation since I’ve been back from Chicago:

Day 1: KCM Home Gym Intervals Combined premix
Day 2: KCM Muscle Up combined premix
Day 3: Patrick Goudeau Body Weight Blast + KCM Trim Down #1
Day 4: Kickbox Burn + KCM Circuit Burn #1
Day 5: Athletic Training + KCM Trim Down #2
Day 6: Hard Strikes Premix 2
Day 7: Afterburn + KCM Circuit Burn #2
Day 8: Jari Love Get Ripped Hardcore 1000
Day 9: Rest (and eat!) in Dallas
Day 10: Patrick Goudeau’s Lean, Hot Body + ACE HIIT Upper
Day 11 (today): TTM extreme + ACE HIIT Lower
Day 12 (tomorrow) High Step Challenge + ACE HIIT Core
Day 13: Crossfire w/ Core + ACE HIIT Total body
Day 14: Toby Massenburg’s AfterBURN
Day 15: X77
Day 16: Rest
Start 6 week S&H/GS/4DS rotation

It's definitely gotten quiet here! How is everyone? How are you doing Mary? Hanging in there? Working the upper body? How is the foot?

I started my 6 week S&H/GS/4DS rotation this week. This week was Slow and Heavy and man am I sore! I am really enjoying the change from all the of the super high intensity/metabolic workouts I've been doing. I'm trying to do a better job balancing things and trying not to overfocus on one aspect--but get a little bit of everything.

Here is this week's schedule:
Monday: S&H Legs and Shoulders + 40/20 HIIT
Tuesday: KPC + Yoga Relax premix 2
Wednesday: S&H Chest and Back + 30/30 HIIT
Thursday (today): Xtrain Legs premix 2 + Patrick Goudeau's Play Ball
Friday: S&H Biceps and Triceps
Saturday: Rapid Fire 2: Results
Sunday: rest

Next week is Gym Styles.

How is everyone else doing? Renee? Nathalie? Roegriff?

Hi there!
I'm doing okay myself I suppose! I'm frustrated to no end! I feel like I gained weight but I'm still plugging away. I think just frustrated no job still.
Sts disk 9 legs meso 1 week three

Hi ladies, I'm still hangin' in there. Been doing A LOT of sitting. {sigh}

Renee, sorry to hear you're feeling frustrated. I know how you feel, but I don't dare weigh myself right now. lol Are you looking for a job? That can be hard.

Jen and Renee, what you went through sounds terrible, much worse than what I'm going through. Yet you made it and look at all the high intensity workouts you've been doing. Jen, your rotation looks fun and intense! Yesterday I "watched" Patrick's Body Weight Blast and I wanted to get up and do it. Thanks for the motivation to keep going. I think you are right about keeping up the habit of exercising. I feel like I'm sort of getting "physically" depressed. I miss the endorphin release from cardio. I'm just not sure what workouts to do other than Cathe's upper body weights.

I've had this cast on for 2 weeks now. On Monday I get a new one with my foot positioned differently.

This is what I've been doing for the last few weeks:
Sun: ---
Mon: Supersets - Upper Body premix
Tues: ---
Wed: Butts & Guts Floorwork and Abs premix
Thurs: ---
Fri: Ellen Barrett Crunch Pick Your Spot Pilates (way too easy!) :(
Sat: Pyramid Upper Body
Sun: ---
Mon: Slow and Heavy Chest and Back
Tues: Tonique Mat - On the Side and On the Knees segments 39 min, no wu/cd
Wed: Slow and Heavy Shoulders and Abs
Thurs: ---
Fri: ---
Sat: (tomorrow) Slow and Heavy Biceps and Triceps (I meant to do this on Fri)

There are so few workouts that I have that I can do other than upper body. I love the Butts and Guts Floorwork premix, but my bad leg feels it the next day in the calf area and I'm not sure I should be doing that. I never was able to do that one before with the ankle weights through the whole workout. Now I can! It totally surprised me. STS must have really strengthened my glutes.

Keep up the great job with the workouts! :D

Mary--doesn't Body Weight Blast look awesome? And it is! I love that workout! And I know what you mean--something about exercise just makes you feel so good (endorphins I suppose!) that when you cannot do it, it drags you down. And yes--STS really strengthens everything--but it hits the lower body hard. You have strong legs and that will hopefully help you get through this better.

I'm sorry to hear things aren't going well for you Renee. I am having a terrible time losing weight, too. I know it's my fault, but it really bothers me how my body and metabolism have changed as I have gotten older. I am doing the things they tell you to do to combat age related weight gain and yet I still have an expanding waist. I am trying something different now, but I don't know how it will work or if I can even keep it up. Nutrient timing and frontloading my meals. In short--making my breakfast the biggest meal of the day and eating all of my starch carbs before 9am--after 9am only veggie and fruit carbs and they decrease in glycemic index as the day progresses (so more starchy veggies and sugary fruits at lunch, but at dinner low carb fruits and veggies). Breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a pauper. I will say I felt thinner this morning, but the scale hadn't budged. I'm giving it a week.

I have a bit of an issue. I have decided to start working over time again starting the week after next. I am wondering if I should change my planned rotation. I will have to make some changes anyway, but I mean radically overhaul it. If I work OT I cannot do doubles. And I have a mental issue about not doing enough cardio. I probably do more cardio than is actually needed but I feel weird if I don't do it almost daily. I was wondering if maybe I should do some of Cathe's rotations like her Xtrain Cardio + Strength rotation and 4DS rotation (which I am doing next week anyway). Then there is CTX. Or if I should just stick with doing what I'm doing and make sure I do cardio on my non-strength days (so 3 days of strength and 3 days of cardio). But then, I like to work each muscle group 2x a week and I always want 2 leg days a week--impossible to fit it all in w/out doubles. :( See? I get weird. I can't decide what to do. I have a week and a half to decide.

BTW--this week is Gym Style. OMG. It has been a long time since I've done GS, but WOW--I forgot how brutal it is. My legs were weak and shakey after I did Monday's workout and my calves are still smarting from some serious DOMS tht feels like bruises! Then this morning was Chest and Triceps--holy cow! I was shaking violently by the end of the chest work. I am a little afraid of tomorrow's Back, Shoulders and Biceps! But it also makes me wonder--why the heck am I not doing these workouts more often?

Hi Everyone,

Hope you are all well. I am still travelling. Came back home weekend only and will make the most of it workout wise:D:):).

I will stop travelling back and forth between work site the 11th of July. Feeling excited to get back to my workout routine as I am feeling unhealthy and heavy. I am missing my endorphins doses so badly:eek::mad: oh well two more weeks to go. I am looking forward to resuming my workout.

Mary I am sorry to hear about your calf. How is the healing process going?
Renee Hope you get better and fully operational very soon.

Jen lol I am going to go through the GS soreness in few weeks too. I am looking forward to it. I will keep the weight fairly light.;). Now I am off to do cycle max.

I love spinning. it is hitting my quads really good:D:D:D. I am taking my HR monitor to check calories expenditure. It is showing a fair amount of calories spent.

Will post tomorrow the latest.

Kind Regards everyone;)

I am still chugging along I am on recovery week from Sts meso 1 disk 12 was Saturday. It was legs and I was sore then Sunday I planned on light jogging but we bought a cheap pool for the grand kids that are coming in it's my DH grands. But we set up a 16 ft round one it was a good price but not sure how long it's gonna last! We had to teal up the yard to leaves the ground using hoes and shovels, my hamstrings are really sore, even more now and my butt and back so that are talking to me today! I tried to make it into a fun exercise. Now we are filling it up now, well when we are home so far it's half full.
Hope to get more running this week.

Glad to hear things will be settling down for you soon Nathalie! I really want a spin bike, but I don't know when that will be in the cards. I only have a few spin workout DVDs and hundreds of other types of workouts (plus Ripped w/ HIITs on pre-order). But I love doing Cathe's spin workouts--but my bike is a recumbent so I am obviously not getting the full effect of the workouts and I really would love to. They're so expensive tho.

Yes! I was so incredibly sore from GS last week! I found the Legs and the Chest & Triceps to be the most painful of the 3--I was so sore! This week is 4DS, then next week I am back to GS again. This is the last week I can do doubles for a while--I'm doing at least 3 weeks of overtime starting next week, then I will probably continue to work it every other week for a while. I've decided that, at least for the weeks I work OT I will workout 7 days a week since I can't do doubles. I'll do a split series like GS, 2 intense cardio workouts (at least one HIIT level), an extra lower body workout, a total body circuit workout (High Step Challenge/High Step Training) and my final workout of the week will be a Rapid Fire kickbox workout. So 7 workouts.

I did some STS this morning, Renee--STS Disk 26 Plyo Legs--my favorite! I wonder if I will be sore? I haven't done it in a while.

Here is last week's workouts:
Monday: GS Legs +KCM Split Sessions Upper
Tuesday: Tabatacise Premix 5 + Yoga Relax premix 1
Wednesday: GS Chest & Triceps + KCM Split Sessions Lower
Thursday: GS Back, Shoulders & Biceps + Toby Massenburg's Ignite
Friday: Intensity
Saturday: KCM Muscle Definition: Full Body Compendium premix
Sunday: Rest

And here is this week:
Monday: 4DS HIS/Chest & Back + KCM: Muscle Up #2
Tuesday (today): STS Disk 26 Plyo Legs w/ Extended Stretch + Cardio Supersets
Wednesday (tomorrow): 4DS Shoulders, Core & Calves w/ X10 Cardio Blast + KCM Muscle Up #1
Thursday: Amy Dixon's Breathless Body #1 + Xtrain Hard Strikes premix 16
Friday: 4DS Bootcamp/Biceps & Triceps
Saturday: 4DS Kickbox/Legs & Core + Xtrain Rear Delts
Sunday: Susan Chung's Rapid Fire 1

Hello everyone,

I hope you are all well. Jen I have read another thread where you have reported an improvement on your back. I have also looked at your rotation and truly you are putting me to shame lol.

I am now back home with no more work travelling. will be travelling a week august for holidays/vacations:p:p :D. Now I kicked off returning to my routines with IMAX3. I had not done it in a while and found myself struggling to complete the hour. I survived though. This week I will be doing steps mainly intervals, next week I will be doing metabolics training with light weight. After completing these weeks, I will resume the Bodybuilding rotation from Gym style:D:D. I need to re-build up some endurance as I am determined to survive four weeks of GS program. I will share my rotations with you.

I opted for step as a kick off cause my hips started to slightly ache due to lack of consistent exercise. I felt and I am now feeling much better after completing IMAX3. I love it. tomorrow it is going to be low impact step from LIS or Pedal power.

That is what I have to share so far and I will report later on this week.

Hope to hear from you all especially Mary. Hope you are healed now.

Kind Regards to you all.

I am on meso 2 now disk 16 yesterday I think. Next will be disk 17 legs. The legs are starting to get harder! Ouch but man it feels good! I live sts legs! It is my kind of workouts because reps are low! So my balance is good for few reps rather then to many reps.!! Today I was hoping to do a cardio in but we will see. I like STS so far because of the structure of the knowing what to do and adding other cardio around it when I can. I haven't gained weight so that's good. I hope to lose fat. But we will see. I need more cardio then what I been getting in I bet. !!

Hi ladies! Glad to see you back with us Nathalie! And are you still popping in Mary? How are you doing? Seeing any recovery? Renee--I think Meso 2 is my favorite mesocycle of the 3. Though I love Plyo Legs from Meso 3; those are my favorite leg workouts in STS, but I do love the Meso 2 leg workouts, too.

My back is a lot better. In fact, I was at 100% yesterday then when I got up this morning, my right hip was hurting<?!?!?>. Again, I have no idea why. However, it doesn’t hurt nearly as bad as the first few days when my back went out. I have no clue what is going on. I focused on strength work this week and low impact cardio and I'm going to continue to do that through most next week. Hopefully by the end of the week I can do some jumping again. I am afraid to right now.

When do you start up GS again Nathalie? I've been revisiting some of Cathe's older strength workouts to see which ones I like best and need to incorporate more of and so far GS is winning—I really think that is the most challenging strength workouts she has created—and she has some awesome strength work! S&H comes in second. Next week I’m doing Pure Strength. Then a week of total body strength work, then Pyramids. I am making notes about them so I know the workouts I want to use more frequently. I have so many workouts, I tend to forget about some of them.

I do plan to do a short P90X2 rotation interspersed with 1-2 weeks of Asylum. Overall it will take about 2 months. I’m going to start that next month.

Well, after the last week that I posted (I did a week of 4DS), I did another week of GS, then this week was Xtrain: Burnsets, Legs, All Out Low Impact HIIT and Supercuts. Tomorrow is Great Glutes + rear delts. Then next week PS with low impact cardio. However, I'd like to end next week with High Step Training, so fingers crossed the back and the hip are 100% by then.

Hi ladies,
I haven't been here for a long time. I actually stopped doing workouts on the last day of June. My hands were hurting from being on crutches, my hips and lower back ached, and I just got tired of crawling around on my knees to set things up. Six weeks was too long, mentally, to be in a cast! Four weeks would have been easier to handle.

Last Monday, a week ago, I traded the cast in for a walking boot! That has made a huge difference. I can do so much more now as far as everyday activities, without those darn crutches. I have 5 more weeks to go in the boot. Tonight I can start sleeping without the boot. This week I will start physical therapy -- that should be interesting.

Last week I started doing workouts again (yay!):

Essentrics Stretch In Motion: Upper Body and Hamstrings
Kelly Coffey-Meyer Body Training: Workout #2 Pilates/Floor
Cathe High Reps (no weights for lower body)
Essentrics Stretch In Motion: Hips and Hamstrings

I haven't planned my workouts and I have no real focus. I really need to sit down and make a plan soon so I can follow something. I miss having a Cathe rotation to follow.

Jen - Sorry to hear about your back and hips. I hope you are feeling better by now.

Renee - Great job on the STS rotation! You must be starting Meso 3 soon. I loved STS. I can't believe I went from finishing STS in mid-April to being where I'm at now.

Nathalie - Have you gotten back into your routine?

I think it would be great if we could all try to check in at least once a week. What do you think?

I hope to hear from everyone soon. :)

Hello all! So glad to see you back Mary! Don't you hate crutches? I hated being so immobile. When I was non-weight bearing it was a wheelchair or I crawled. Yes, I crawled, too. I had knee pads that I used because my knees got so raw from my constant crawling. Then when I went to cam boots and crutches--OMG--so much underarm pain! I hated it. I hope I never have to go through it again, though they told me the time may come when I have to get my ankles fused. I always hope that by staying active I am preventing that from happening. But who knows?

Congrats on getting back into exercising! My back and hip are all better. Have no clue what happened or what I did, but I am better now and doing all kinds of jumping.

I saw you got Body Beast. Nathalie already has it, right? Mine is supposed to arrive on Saturday. Maybe we will all be doing it at the same time. I haven't decided yet when I am going to start. Not next week but maybe the week after, not sure yet. My husband may actually do it with me, which will shock me. He hasn't said he would yet, but he seems interested. I'm afraid he won't do it unless I do the workouts at the same time--literally, doing the workouts together, which will totally screw up my workout schedule.

And yes, I think we should all try to start checking in again. I will try.

This is my week:
Sunday: Rapid Fire 4
Monday: GS Legs + Chalean Extreme Burn Intervals
Tuesday: Flextrain + KCM Trim Down #1
Wed.: Imax 2 + Chalean Extreme Get Lean Intervals
Thursday Cathe Bootcamp + Rapid Fire 2 Metabolic Burn premix
Friday (today): Lean Legs and Abs + Bnus Barre + KCM Body Training #1
Saturday Fierce Force

Next week is a Pyramid week (Cathe's Pyramid workouts). The week after that I don't know. I hadn't figured out what I was going to do that week even before I bought Body Beast, but now I'm really unsure! I was considering P90X2/Asylum. But now I'm thinking Body Beast!
