Adrien Updat, Warning: Cuteness

Adrian has something wrong with his colon that is not allowing him to pass poop. There is a name for it, but I couldn't pronounce it let alone spell it. So far that is agreed upon. They are waiting for a professional doctor to come in Monday to take a little bit of tissue from his colon and have further tests done. In the meantime, the only additional routine they will have to do (so far) is give him enemas to help the poop pass. When he gets a little older they most likely will operate on him and take that part of the intestine out and just bypass that part of him. He will be as good as new. The important thing now is, he is stable.

Thank you so much for all your support and prayers, you know it is much appreciated. I can't tell you how much this means to me. And I knew I could count on you for that kind of support. I truly didn't know what else to do. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I spelled his name wrong. This is the correct spelling Adrian.

Janie, I am so glad he is stable! I'm sure the doctors will have him fixed up in no time. I think bowel problems are pretty common in newborns. I am glad that the enemas are working and should relieve the poor little guy's pain. As a mom of three little boys, my heart was aching for your family. I am so happy that you now know what the problem is and that it is totally fixable. Still praying for you guys!!

encouraging words janie!

my brother has s'thing wrong w/ his rectum at birth and had to do nightly enemas when we were kids. mom had t do them to him when he was a baby too. as an adult he has to do nightly suppositories. he did have multiple surgeries but now its just an inconvenience.

i hope the answers keep coming and that they are positive!!!

Oh Janie--what a hard time for you all. Praise God they know what is wrong and what to do about it. Still it is so hard to see our little ones suffer. I am praying wisdom for the doctors and strength and comfort for you and your family and especially little Adrien.(((hugs)))

Keep us posted.
