    Workout Hair

Do you mean you don't want to shampoo it every day, or you don't want to get it wet every day? I ask because I have very thin (though curly) hair and no way can I shampoo it every day - gets so dry! I will get in the shower after the sweaty workout, rinse out the sweat and then put in...

    Storage for Cathe "Toys"

Wow, I love the dresser idea. I would never have thought of something like that. Apparently creativity is not my strong suit. :o I am always looking for ideas to get the toys off of my closet floor. I was also going to suggest a covered ottoman (also not my idea, a couple of others here...

Shape selects Cross Fire as one of its six favorite videos for 2012

Congratulations, Cathe and Crew! Always nice to be recognized for all of that hard work!!

    Standing legs vs floor legs

Oh yeah, right there with you. Sooo shaky during barre work and the floor work. I used to hate and avoid it, but started to really force myself to do it and now I find I enjoy it. I would say the toughest thing for me is that progression in floor/barre is so much slower than standing. I could...

Opinions please! Intensity Bootcamp or Drill Max??

Drill Max vote here!! If you have never done it, you will love it. Great workout as a whole, and awesome premixes (or I guess premix material since you will be downloading it). There is a cardio/drill segment with the ball that is just so much fun! And the music and energy are super!

    tutorial videos

I agree with Natasha - it takes practice. Don't get discouraged though, because you will be amazed at how much your mind and body learn even if you think you are not getting it. You might thing you are never going to get it when you pull the dvd out, but then the next time in you get some...

    tutorial videos

Basic Step and Cardio Hits are both great recommendations from Natasha. Definitely start with Basic Step - she does a really good job breaking things down in here, and the pace is slow, and it gives you a nice foundation for the rest of her step work. Another tip for some of the more...

    Workout Rant: I Hate Drills!

I just wanted to comment on Ronne's thread - I recently discovered Amy Bento's premixes on ASC2, 3, and 4. So if you get to the point where you really know the combos and you don't want a workout training each combo because you are bored with it, try some of these premixes - the ones where she...

    Workout opinions please

I own all these, and like them all - I would say it depends on what you want out of them, and how far you are trying to stretch your dollars. Crosstrain Express - I got this on one of the daily deals, and I have to say if you can do that it is worth it - I hesitate to totally recommend it to...

    Over 40 ladies poll

40, and I do both. I do, however, keep an eye on times/week and try to insert a low impact or full weight day so I am not doing high impact more than three or so times a week, and not back-to-back days. Really, what I have the most problems with are my wrists, rather than my knees. I have to...

    To those who use downloads.....

All of the above are great suggestions - the HIITs are handy for travel too. I always take the HIIT Pyramid and both HIITs from Intensity as they require no equipment.

    Christy Taylor

Here is another one for Christi Taylor - she is a lot of fun and her cuing is excellent! She has great music and a lot of good energy. Her workouts, for me, are not as athletic as Cathe's, but also not as high impact. Also, she does a lot of TFT'ing (taking it from the top). This is great when...

    Loving Obagi!

I don't know - I don't think I am because I have not heard of the Clear and Exfoderm - I did not know there were Steps 1-6? My doc just prescribed the blender to start with - maybe because I have sensitive skin? I had tried just straight hydroquinine at first (triluma or something like that) and...

    Loving Obagi!

I just started using Obagi too - right now I am using the blender w/a retin-a at night on my face. I have been using it for about two months now. To be honest, I am only seeing a little bit of a difference for my melasma. For those of you that are seeing the biggest differences, are you using...

Can you recommend a Yoga dvd?

You have a lot of great suggestions up above, but in case you want another for added variety, I am a big fan of Shiva Rea's Daily Energy. The nice thing about this one is the format of the DVD is in a "matrix" - you can choose from two warm-ups, 7 twenty minute yoga practices which vary from...

    Feel Fit Wear

Jennifer, do the bras really, uh . . . hold the ladies in? :o I am asking because I am always on the look out for truly "bounce-less" sports bras; since they stopped the production of the Frog Bra (a favorite through Title Nine) I have been on the lookout and nothing comes close. -Stephanie

    HIIT"s in early pregnancy

Just to throw in my 2 cents - sounds like you have gotten some really good advice here, and always check with your medical professional, etc. I would definitely suggest a HRM - you don't need to get anything fancy or hugely expensive, but if you don't have one now it might be a really good idea...
