Hi Laura! I just use my lifting gloves. :) I think it's not recommended, though, but, I don't know why! I use the lifting gloves so my hands don't get sore, also!

I'm 56 and like & do both! I have to be careful with my knees, though.... ouch! I may modify some high impact stuff that hurts. Also, Advil helps. I have knee issues since my 20's, but it's gotten worse with age.

I just ordered from Costco 180 caps for 44.99. Costco - Cosamin® ASU with Glucosamine and Chondroitin, 180 Capsules Hope they work for me! So far NOTHING has. (I have knee pain) Is the ASU better than the DS, Jane? I wondered if you knew which was the better one to get. thanks! linda

the Transitions would be good for weight training I think. I got them, too and they don't have lateral support, and no arch support either, so i will put my own in. The toe box seems smaller, too, and my toes might get squished if my feel swell up during cardio. i don't plan to do any cardio...
