    New Cathe Catalog Suggestions!

There are some great suggestions here. I especially like the idea of categorizing the workouts by type; and listing premixes and a breakout of each premix with equipment used and running times (which you usually do for the filmed version). For exercises with weights, maybe even consider...

    The Cathe Calendar Details!

This is very nice! Great idea and it looks like a lot of thought has gone into it to make it useful and interesting, as well as very high in quality. Nice job!

    New Mommy Needs Help

I would suggest using her beginner workouts first, Basic Step/Body Fusion and Low Impact Step. The choreography is basic and would be a great introduction to her style (and Stepping if you aren't familiar with it) and would ease you into exercising (or back into exercising, if that's the case)...

Reviews of New DVDs with pregnancy in mind

Kristy, I agree with your summary. I'm not as far along as you but I wanted to try as much as I could before I had to modify too much and I also think most of the sections in these workouts are doable, with modifications when necessary. I've done LIC all the way through and also thought it...

    Low Impact Circut

I'm glad to hear that. I can't wait to try it. I still have to preview all mine before trying to see what I want to do and how to go about it. I usually don't preview but will this time for two reasons, the freezing issues and because I'm about 9 1/2 wks along! I was thinking Drill Max may be...

What did you feel on the day you found out you were pregnant?

RE: What did you feel on the day you found out you were... I thought for sure I would have the same early pregnancy symptoms with #2 that I had with my daughter. With her my breasts felt sore almost immediately after ovulation (I charted), then fatigue and bloating set in and also some cramping...

Drill Max Extended Video Clip is now Up!

Worked fine for me with DSL/Cable, PC and XP. Only a couple of stutters and they didn't mess up the pace of the viewing at all. How nice to have an opportunity to view all chapter points and preview all of the exercises vs just snippets of a few. Music sounds great, too. Diana

    floor auorobics and interval training

In addition to Marcy's suggestions, you might also like the Step, Jump & Pump and Step Blast dvd. STJ is step and a hi/lo and weight training circuit. Step Blast is high intensity step training with 3 intensity blasts at the end. The premixes are great for both.

Moms - How do you find time?

Hi Kristyn- I built my workouts right into my daughter's schedule starting around when she 2 months old. Initially, I tried working out after my husband got home from work, but, like you, I was more exhausted at the end of the day and didn't enjoy the workouts as much. I love to workout in the...

Ever do a "Listening to your Body Rotation"?

RE: Ever do a Hi Lynne - I'm much like Laurie. I don't follow a strict rotation. Actually, I tried to a few months ago and before the first week was out I pulled my calf muscle and it took the next 3-4 weeks to heal. I teach group fitness, too, so that bummed me out and kept me sidelined from...

Time for BootCamp Core Only Premix?

I love the core only premix. It seems to go faster than 11 minutes. I haven't done it in a while but I'll have to revisit it again soon. Let us know what you think of it.

    PP UB 3 Set Premix

Wow! First time doing it yesterday...and today I've got good DOMS in my back! It's hard for me to achieve that for some reason, even with the GS workout. Also sore in the shoulders. Love it! I'll be doing this again for sure. I needed an UB mix to pair with L&G this week which I did this...

    GS vs PS

If you have to pick one, I'd go with GS. I've gotten the best strength results with those workouts. PS is good, too, so consider it down the road but I don't think it's quite as hard. I do love the floor work with the bar in PS Legs and will sometimes tag that segment onto Leaner Legs. Also I...

Is it harder to work out in the a.m.?

Liz, I've been a morning exerciser for quite a few years now but used to workout in the evening after work. But I always noticed that on the weekends, when I would always exercise in the morning, that I felt great the rest of the day. When I became a group fitness instructor, I taught a hi/lo...

    ? about C-sections & exercise

Hi Angie - My daughter was born 2 years ago by c-section. I started doing "serious" workouts about 2 days before the 6-week postpartum mark (I didn't actually see my dr until 7 wks pp). But I was walking with my daughter in the stroller I think starting around 3 wks pp. I think walking first...

    Body Max 2 Premix Suggestions?

Butts and Guts DVD Premix Suggestions?

There are some great suggestions being posted (Reba's got some good ones!). I like the varied premix options you offer in your Body Blast series the best, so a setup similar to that would be great on all your new DVDs. Please include the running time of the premixes like you have in previous...
