    Is is necessary......??????

Wonderful to hear because not only do I not want to buy any more equipment, but I don't like getting tons of equipment out each day. Thanks for the question AND the answer. :-)

    Realistically, how long??

I believe the last day of the first pre-sale was March 10th.

    Realistically, how long??

I also think that Cathe will be EXTRA cautious in making sure all the glitches are gone before shipping these off, which for 37 dvds, will be a huge undertaking. She's not going to want to send out replacement copies, have sound issues, etc.

How often should I use the STS program?

I don't know if it was in a Forum Post or on something else Cathe wrote, but she said that it would be good to do STS two or three times a year. I don't remember if she said how long of breaks to take in between, but I would think at least a month.

    Post-Surgery Weight Limit question

Thanks for that idea Gibbee -- I'll have to pull out Pure Strength again so I can familiarize myself with the technique.

    Realistically, how long??

I was thinking more like end of summer -- even into August or September. I thought the editing/productions process took a lot longer than the filming. Anyone remember how long it was after 4DS was filmed? (But that was only 2 dvds, so you'd have to figure for the extras). I feel like this...

STS Philosophy with current Cathe workouts

    >What and where is the VF forum? >Roselyn If you want to find our check-in -- go the the Check-ins and Challenges section of the forum and look for the STS-like Mesopsychos ;) group -- we start a new post each week.

Will Mesocycle 1 reps be as fast as in Muscle Endurance & Power Hour?

Hi -- I did a Search for "Rep Speed" and found the answer below that seems to deal more with beat count than speed (but I'm copying and pasting in case anyone else hasn't seen it and is curious). What I'm wondering is if the rep speed in the Mesocycle 1 workouts will be as fast as in Muscle...

STS Philosophy with current Cathe workouts

Hi Jane -- Yes, it makes perfect sense! A group of us on the VF forum are doing an STS model rotation with our current Cathe workouts (we've just started week 2). Going off of rep count and Cathe's descriptions in her catalog, we've grouped the weight workouts like this: Meso 1 -- Power...

    STS Workout Log

I hope it's something we can print out if it's not included with the dvds. I'd much rather log on paper than on the computer.

Pull ups / tubing pull downs - quick question for SNM

Just wanted to add to SNM that there's a typo under Cedie's picture on the blog. It says "Exercise tubing is expensive and can be easily attached . . . " -- I'm sure you meant inexpensive! :-)

    Post-Surgery Weight Limit question

Thanks for the info Gibbee. I'm sure every little bit with Kegals, PF work, and even Pilates helps. I tried all sorts of books, videos, and Physical Therapy before my surgery and to quote my PT, she said it was like trying to catch the water from Niagra Falls with a pail. It could make a...

low impact options for plyo moves and split jumps

Do you have a rebounder? I use my rebounder for Cathe's high impact moves that would be hard on my knees. But that would be great if she had some alternatives for those who don't have one.

    Puzzle mats and paper plates.

Why are you using the puzzle mats? Are you on a hard floor? Paper plates (and plastic anything -- I've used DVD covers and they work great) work really well on carpet. What I've found is hard things work well on carpet while soft things work on hard floor (like a rag). I don't know what...

    protein intake, STS, and results

One interesting thing that Dr. Fuhrman says is (unless someone's anorexic) that people in the developed world don't need to worry about being deficient in protein, even if they're body builders. He says that the increased amount of protein for body builders is proportionate to the increased...

    Post-Surgery Weight Limit question

I'm just about over the fence on pre-ordering here, but I have one final concern -- I had pelvic floor surgery a few years ago and am not supposed to lift over 40 pounds while standing. If I'm sitting or lying down for upper body work, I can lift over that because it doesn't put any weight on...

    protein intake, STS, and results

I think that's outdated nutritional information. I know that many body builders believe they can only gain muscle mass with a lot of protein, but there are new studies (and many athletes to back it) that say you don't need that much protein (and that plant sources are sufficient and superior...

    STS Music Questions

Oh, that makes me sad that their won't be any vocals. I don't find the vocals distracting; I find them motivating. If it's instrumental, I hope it isn't that repetitive techno-elevator-pounding beat like in Body Max 2. Not to sound like my dad or anything,:-) but that music gives me a...

    4DS Rotations with Premixes

I'm doing the same Angie. I was 3 weeks into a Pyramids/Gymstyle rotation (alternating week) and got bursitis in my knee (makes me sound 80 years old, I know :)). I'm almost able to bend my knee most of the way. It sure is making me grateful for what I can usually do!

    4DS Rotations with Premixes

Hi Angie -- I'm just trying to figure out the same thing. I'm thinking what I'll do is add yoga in on the other 2 days with cardio combinations -- something like this: M -- Higher Intensity Step/Chest & Back T -- Cardio Kickbox/Legs & Core W -- Lower Intensity Step Cardio only / Yoga Th...
