    Workout Rant: I Hate Drills!

This really made me laugh because I have the same reaction at that part. LOL

    Workout Rant: I Hate Drills!

Also hate drills. I like to think about complex choreography: makes the workout go faster and takes my mind off the fact that I'm suffering. I miss the Rhythmic Step and Step Blast days. Repetition like in Athletic Training is not only boring but a recipe for injury.

Tell us about your STS results!

Hello, Unfortunately no, I don't see any changes in energy levels yet in Meso 2. Will be doing Disc 15 later tonight with the intention of adding on a HiiT after - assuming my energy holds out. I'm hoping whatever is sapping my strength/stamina will go away soon.

Tell us about your STS results!

Thank you for your response, Nancy. I am doing the STS/Shock Cardio rotation. I took the recovery week between Meso 1 and 2 (I did a lower intensity workout every other day during recovery week, no weights). So I am doing cardio between the weight days, but lately I have been adding a HiiT to...

Tell us about your STS results!

I too am feeling EXTREMELY worn out doing STS, more so then when I did Insanity earlier this summer! I was starting to wonder if it was just me. I am about to complete the 1st week of Meso 2, but I have been trying to add in HiiT workouts recently to the end of the weight workouts because my...

What size do u consider to be skinny?

Size 6 even today? I weigh around 160-165, am big boned (134 lbs was my smallest weight and I was around a size 6 - had such low body fat that I didn't have a cycle for two years), have a 28 inch waist, 36 inch hips, 21 inch thighs and consistently wear size 12. I tend to be a size 10 in...

Took the plunge...just ordered STS!! looking for a workout buddy...

I am about to start Meso 2 on Monday - this is my 1st time doing STS. Kind of discouraged because I haven't seen any visible changes in my body yet - strength has increased though and I was able to do all push-ups on my toes.

Also have Shimano and love them.

    Christy Taylor

I'll chime in to say I too love Christy's step and hi/lo. Also, I tend to burn more calories doing her step workouts as opposed to, say, IMAX 3, for whatever reason.

    HCG Ultra

I reiterate what everyone says: don't do it. I did it twice and ever since the second time, I have been STRUGGLING to take off the weight I regained after it ended (I ended the second round in January). I gained back 9 lbs after the first week, and that was with me working out 6 days per week...

doing STS program, but still gaining weigh

I feel your pain. I am just ending Mesocycle 1 and I'm bloated and looking and feeling terrible. I too am starting to wonder whether heavy lifting is right for me, although I had great results with slow heavy weight lifting when I did ChaLEAN Extreme.

How fit should a group fit instructor be?

THANK you. Going by the BMI, I'm 20 lbs overweight and yet I can do all of Cathe's workouts and Insanity without modifications and without extra rests. I also can match Cathe on most upper body sections on most DVD's and even exceed her weight selections on lower body work. And I've lost...

    anyone try coconut water?

I think it's absolutely nasty, too, whether room temperature or ice cold. Give me old fashioned, no frills water ANY day!

XTrain description? Can you guide me to it, please?

Which makes sense in light of the previous series Cross Train Express.

    Feel Fit Wear

Hi Katrina, The relax tanks run the same size: while they are looser than compression, I would not classify them as loose - or at least, loose enough to go down a size. I'm still a large in the relax tank. I'm also a large in the yoga tank but I feel the medium would fit as well (it's looser...

    Feel Fit Wear

The Pump It Sports bra will not hold you in enough unless you have, say, the blue top (Cami bra top) that goes under it; for some reason, the Cami bra top is not for sale on the website (I bought it at the NJ RT). I got the medium in the bra and top so it would hold me in tight enough, even...

    Feel Fit Wear

I feel you. I too am pear shaped and have the the pants occasionally riding down my bottom - I have only two FFW capris for that reason, although the Lucilene capris from the Intensity DVD don't have that problem as much. I also have the super tight tops rolling up when I, say, squat down...

    Feel Fit Wear

Hello all, As someone who has purchased a LOT of stuff from Feel Fit Wear (I am helpless in the willpower department at the road trips!), allow me to chime in. Their sizes run small. I tend to be a medium in capris and workout tops but I am almost always a large in FFW. The only exceptions...

    Least Favorite Moves

I also can't do the butt kicks for very long - at least, not at the crew's speed. This is one move I doubt I'll ever master - well, this and pikes.
