    Thanks, Cathe - It's Working!!

I do - I sometimes swap one of the spinning workouts for a cardio workout. Also, depending on my schedule or how I'm feeling, I'll switch days around slightly. For example, I did Legs on Saturday, and then I did HiiT on Sunday with upper body, because I had energy (basically doubling-up and...

    Thanks, Cathe - It's Working!!

I've been doing the XTrain/LIS rotation and am in week 6 right now. Aside from the fact that I LOVE, LOVE this new series (especially combined with LIS) - I have more energy and am more motivated than I have been in longer than I can remember. And, I am excited to report that I am wearing a...

Why no Heavy Leg work in Xtrain?

Did Xtrain Legs on Saturday and Turbo Barre today. Love the combo - I'm seeing results with the LIS/Xtrain rotation (with spinning thrown in 1-2 x per week). My legs are thinning out in a way they haven't before - my knees do not like heavy work any more. Love this new combo!

    Turbo Barre - shoes?

If it's cold, I just put on socks. Same as being barefoot, but warmer.

Love the music in Burn Sets!

No question, just stating how much I love the music in Burn Sets. As a child of the 70's and 80's, it was so fun to here: INXS, Depeche Mode, Van Halen, etc. I even heard what sounded similar to music from the movie Sixteen Candles. So fun and motivating!!!

So, what is your fav Xtrain workout?

I like HardStrikes (fun, fun), Love Burn Sets, really like the Legs workout (I HATE working legs, so this one is great because just when I really start hating a section, she moves on to something new - I like the light weight and the variety in this one). I am quite certain that I will someday...

    Pregnancy Workout

Crossfire is impact. Xtrain is mixed, and some of the cardio is also impact. The low impact series rocks and is low impact. I would go with either that or Xtrain depending on what types of activities you like. There are YouTube clips of all of them, so I would check them out to see what it...

    Hard Strikes Heavy Bag bonus

Hard Strikes is fun but it is in no way low impact. It's got like 200 freakin' jumping jacks plus those damn scissors!! The thing kills my knees. That's the only thing I don't like about it.

Cathe I love LI +X Train Rotation!

I agree about the impact. There is some, but most of it is easily modified. There is also no twisty impact (which I totally can't do). It's very straight movement. I had no problem lowering the impact. Fun workout.

Cathe I love LI +X Train Rotation!

I'm doing the same rotation and loving it. Mixing up the cardio a little - did Hard Strikes this weekend. But this new series is effective and fun!!

What muscle group is this guy working?

That guy is clearly not playing with a full deck. He kind of scares me. The club should tell him to knock it off or ask him to leave.

    Boxing Gloves

I would actually recommend trying the workout first without them to assess your comfort level. I just did Hardstrikes without gloves, and I could not have done it with them. Maybe someday, but I'm fine without them for now.
