WM 3.0 says GAIN instead of gain/loss

I just added the # of calories I ate today (i.e. 1000) and the TDEE or workout manager says that at this rate I will GAIN 2# per week and will reach my goal by February sometime. I think it should say lose 3# considering no one will GAIN if they continue eating only 1000 cals per day!

1 small step 1 big smile

I remember how excited I was when I was able to do 1 man push up in my early days! It wasn't easy and I can totally relate on how excited you must be feeling on this accomplishment. Keep it up and you will be able to do 24 man push ups in no time! Bravo!!

Which Weight lifting DVD's Do I Start With?

Define "serious weight lifting". Can you do 16 reps of bicep work with 10/12/15 or 25 #? Cathe's weight work is INTENSE - don't be fooled by her performance - she is a tiny woman but can curl big time! If you are new to Cathe's weight work then I will definitely recommend Power Hour and...

    LIC V. Low Max

The music in LIC is out of this world! It motivates me to workout harder each time! I love the DVD (except, now I sold it to buy Shock Cardio - oh how I miss it!). LowMax ... yah, some very familiar moves - reminds me somewhat of Rhythmic step but gets boring after a couple of use (unlike...

STS Shock Cardio vs. Shaun T's Insanity

I have graduated from Insanity and only own Shock Cardio HIIT. Insanity APPEARS to be more intense but my Polar HRMW tells me that I burn just as many calories doing Shock Cardio HIIT as I do Insanity and then multiply by length. On average, I burn 10 calories per minute. Insanity also...

    Question about HIIT

I schedule HIIT workout no more than twice a week with 2 FULL DAYS rest in between. I don't know why but I find I perform better with 2 full days rest.

    HIIT!!!!

I am a fan! I love this workout more than I loved Drill Max. I sold my Drill Max and Low Impact Circuit to purchase Shock Cardio series. So far, I only purchased HIIT and I swear that is all one needs to get a total body, boot ass to the moon workout! I just love the format and love the...

Is STS Shock Cardio for Beginners?!?!

So far, I have only purchased HIIT but I am loving what I see of Circuit Blast on you tube. In my personal opinion, any workout can be modified for a beginner. You just have to learn the format first, then take it slowly until your cardio endurance is at its ultimate. Set a goal. If you...

    STS comparison to P90X

I totally agree with your conclusion. I too am P90X graduate and I am telling you both programs (although similar in technique of muscle confusion) work different muscles and provide a great workout. I just got bored changing through so many equipment with STS Strength. That said Cathe rocks...

    Pyramid full body premix

Pyramid Total Body Premix You know, I have never tried it. I think I will have to schedule it next week if STS doesn't work for me. Wonder why I never tried the premix before - thanks!!

How different is the STS to P90X?

P90X vs STS I have been working out with Cathe for over 10 years. I love almost all of her workouts - especially strength ones. It is true, I get bored with Cathe workouts if I only do them in a week and crave for something different. In 2006, I was introduced to P90X and I must admit I was...

    STS user's guide

I don't understand that at all. When you purchase something for $199 - why wouldn't they throw in the user guide? I mean, would they rather people get injured and not purchase any Cathe products again or would they rather figure out the user guide pricing with the bundle and allow cathelets to...

Do you workout in the am or pm?

In winter months I workout in the afternoon. In summer, I workout in the morning. There was a time when I used to wake up at 3am to workout and had loads of energy to do high intensity interval workouts - but that has changed with age. I still wake up at 4:30 am but I don't have any energy to...

    David Kirsch Anyone?

I tried and failed. Anything that doesn't allow fruit consumption is very hard for me. I kept listening to so many PMA tapes and nothing helped. I am sure Napoleon Hill must be very disappointed with me during this challenge! But then, I convinced myself that any workout that doesn't preach a...

    Replacing foods

I really believe you need to shift your thinking. Instead of I don't like this and I don't like that, how about concentrating on what healthy foods you like and dig in? You don't have to eat oatmeal or brown pasta or bland salad to eat healthy. There are tonnes of alternatives if you only...
