Ya Ya Boards

Just so you know, the Ya-Ya's board is not free to the public. They charge a $12 per year fee. Not that that is expensive, just wanted you to be informed. Do a search for "Firm Ya-Yas" and you should pull up the registration page.

I don't think everyone has to be an ezboard supporter, but I could be wrong since I joined when it first started.

I've never paid $12. I think it's free and it's your choice whether or not to be a supporter. I love the yayas!
 
No, you don't have to pay to be a YaYa, although they do appreciate the support. But you do have to register and be approved by the YaYa administrators (I think they approve just about everyone, as long as your username isn't something like "porno_queen_xxx"). I love the YaYas - I have gotten a large portion of my Cathe DVDs from the YaYa Swapmeet. :D
 
Oh...OOPS! The one time I went to the Ya-Ya's, after they changed, I got the registration page that said you had to be a paying member?? I must have read it too quickly...needless to say I went no further since I wasn't going to pay for using the site. Back in those days it was alot of cat fighting so not worth paying to witness that every day.

Oh [email protected]'ve been a member all along and didn't know it! :7 I'll have to check it out again and see who's still around over there.
 
The only thing I dont like about Ya Ya's is that it has to be fitness related. You can't post about anything like we do on this board.

No, Madonna. I think you may be thinking of the VideoFitness board. Yaya has a HUGE open chatter forum as well as a spa forum with beauty secrets, nutrition and fitness stuff...they are all seperate. There are very few restriction on the open chatter. you can talk about anything as long as you don't use x-rated language.

No, you don't have to pay to be a member. $12/yr or $7/6 mo is for the EZboard supporter. If you are not a supporter, everytime you view a page it COSTS the Ya-yas money. Based on the number of 'unsupported' views, the EZ board (which hosts their forums) will charge them. I think they usually have to pay around $1200/yr as a group.

So, generally, if you are active at Ya-yas, it would be a *nice thing* to be an EZ Board supporter... so your activity doesn't cost them money. Anyway, they also take donation (strictly volunteer) to pay for these annual costs.

And they have several forums -- I enjoy their Open Chatter. Ask anything, they are educated crowd!
 
Come on over! I've been a YaYa for some time now and it's by far my favorite board. YaYa's are quite the resource and a bunch of intelligent, kind and fun ladies (there may be a few men, too). And you reminded me to update my EZboard support. Thanks!
 
Can anyone post a link that works? This is the third time I've tried to get there with no luck. I am a ezboard memeber and have a "global account". Just getting very frustrated. I can't even find a listing for that board, I find firm believers, and Firmies.. But no ya yas. Thanks

I can't figure it out either. I tried that link and tried Firm Believers, but it can't be the right one. The last post on there was at the beginning of March! I have an EZboard global account, but can't seem to get into the Ya Ya's. Weird.
 
Thats exactly what I got but 24hrs later still no word. But I did find it, heres how: I went to firmbelievers forum, and in general forum someone was asking for help, and one person answered her with a link the link was weird, frim ya yas, yes it said frim not firm. I clicked on that link and it took me right there. I tried to copy and paste that link here in my reply but it wasn't taking. So go to ezboards main page, go to firmbelievers and find that post and you should be able to get there too.
