XTrain 90 Day Undulating Rotation

Thanks goodness yesterday was my rest day, I needed it to mentally prepare for week two, I am now ready to take it on!!! I was worried I would be constantly sore, but today is the first day I can walk and get up without making grunting noises, I am sure tomorrow they will be back!

ReneePruitt, isn't it amazing that a little sweat can make us feel better.
 
Ok my chest still sore from monday's workout! Yesterday was cardio leg blast & seems to be harder than the first time I did it:confused:. This am I did Burn sets Bi's & Tri's, core 2 & 100 challenge bi+tri.

Seriouly Core2 is harder than core1!

Tomorrow I'll be running 5 miles on my TM instead of HS. I have 10K race coming up this saturday.

was legs for me this morning, too, jann! such a long, tough workout! i appreciate when i get to the rear delts bonus:). my legs and rear end are feeling like jello today after that.:p

renee-- sorry you aren't feeling well, but glad the workout helped!

sorry about your foot, eva! hope it was feeling much better today. i have been dealing with tendonitis in my right foot. i know what a pain it is to not be able to do the workouts you want. i learned my lesson on this the hard way about 5 years back. i strained my hip flexor and kept up with my ashtanga practice and a teacher training anyway, and ended up tearing it:eek:. i was barely able to walk for a week and couldn't reach to put on my own shoe. it was pretty bad. that's why i was watching it so closely last week-- never want to do that again. better to change things around and heal up.:) you are a rock star for still finding a way to sweat!

Yuk still got a headache off n on. I did hardstrikes today. Chest back and shoulders tomorrow. Week 3 day 2 down. Sorry i havnt done personals yet! Not feel great still. Im gettn better. Ill catch up then!
 
Finished Burn Sets: Chest, Back, Shoulders. Really found out my weaknesses. Not feeling as strong as I'd like today.

Renee--I hope you feel better. It's never fun when you feel crummy, but don't wanna miss a workout! Great job pushing through, but take care of you!
 
I did Burn Sets Chest Back and Shoulders yesterday, and now my shoulders are talking to me today! I didn't realize it till I tried to scratch my back this morning. Ouch. Legs today and even though its 80 minutes, it seems to fly by for me. It hurts, but goes by quickly.

Hope XTrain is going well for everyone. This is my first Cathe rotation and I'm glad I'm doing it. I'm working out even I really don't feel like when I start, but I'm glad I did it at the end!

I did Chest, Back and Shoulders today. My foot is still bugging me (thanks for the well wishes and for sharing your story, katied--a cautionary tale indeed), but I tried to be careful and it was fine. Not sure how I'll tackle tomorrow, when I should do some cardio. I'll have to play it by ear.

I have not done core #2 since the first day I got the set, but I don't remember it being harder. I'll have to check that out. Since there are only 2 core workouts, I've been saving that one for later in the rotation.

Eva i hope ur foot feels better soon! Thanks for the getting better vibes u were sending. I have been haunted by headached for a while. I already had mri done its like they dont know whats wrong so all i can do is 1 exercise that seems to help most time believe it or not then step 2 yoga or step 3 soak in very hot water,with cold wash cloth.step 4 then if nothing helps then i take two excedrine and lay down. Sometime laying down makes it worse.
Hardstrikes today tomorrow i do CBS.
 
This is my first post and my first rotation. Second day into it. I think I am going to like it. I am 61 years old, feel like 40, and need to lose the 10 lbs I gained back last year. More important, I want to keep up it off after I lose it. Cardio legs was great! I don't know about you, but I am older not old and intend to get in the best shape ever. I am so excited about this program!

I woke up this am with big time DOMS on my biceps & triceps. The CSB & BT from last week workout did not give me this type of DOMS. Maybe I need to go higher with my weights next week.
My joints has been popping shoulder,elbow & hips. So tomorrow I'll be doing yoga as my rest day before the race. I need to loosen up a little:)

Yesterday did burn sets, chest back and shoulders, and this is my week 2 and so far my favorite workout, oh it flew by and was so much fun! can't wait to try bi's and tri's. Today is legs and it's already loaded on my dvd just got to get my workout clothes. I felt really strong yesterday and Im not sore yet, hope that doesnt mean i didnt push my self hard enough.

busy day today but wanted to check in. did hard strikes plus the conditioning this morning. the conditioning segment is pretty intense for being short! all those tricep dips:eek:

Thanks for the well wishes on my tootsie. I decided to lay off of it today, so I did not work out. No check in for me. Since I've missed most of this week, I think I am going to carry week 3 over to next week. this week I'll do an assortment of random workouts. I'm not sure what I'll do tomorrow, it depends on my foot.

Renee, sorry about your recurring headaches. I am a total wreck when I have a headache. They are so distracting and unpleasant.:(

Buneknek, good luck on your race on Saturday! Do you have a particular goal for yourself for this race?

No DOMS from CBS, which I did yesterday. I think I may need to try to up my weights. I'll have to break out the weighted gloves next time.

Im still hanging in there i tjink tjis week it is hormonal. So i pushed on yesterday was hardstrikes and today was chest back shoulders.. I didnt sweat as much on it :( i cant remember if i sweat more the first time. I tried to go up in weight but could only crank a few in higher weight then i hurried and grabed the one i knew i could finish with. So i hope im sore tomorrow like i was tje first week! Yaaa how exciting is DOMS! ? I lrrrrvv it! Lol

Oh i tacked on the 100 reps delts. Hope im doing it correctly!
Oh Eva! I hate that about ur foot! Dang on. Well im cheering u on! U got this ...i tjink doing week three over is a good idea.. And im prayn ur foot feels better!

Thanks! I don't have a goal time since I haven't run much. My last 10k was last year & I finished it 50.09. I'd be lucky if I beat that time.

I was not ver sore either with CSB but I think I went light with my weights. But the burn sets is a different story I was sore for 3 stinking days! Love it!
