I can't believe nobodies started the thread yet! AHHH,were all a bunch of sleepy heads,LOL! I JUST woke up....feels good!

I hope everybody has a Lovely sunday,suppose to be pretty today here in GA. Im sipping my morning brew,watching my babies play and will bbl!
 
Hello Ladies!!

Good Morning Amelia! I am here. I just came from early morning workship services and now I am off for a class at my old kickboxing gym. I am surprising one of my favorite instructors and will be present for her 10:30am class. I have not been there in over a year and she has been wanting me to come back. I have seriously been considering joining again (despite the fact that I think the new manager is a slim ball). After that I have a hair appt. and a little running around to do. No rest for me on Sunday. :-( Therefore, my w/o today will be Karen's kickboxing class. I will let you all know what kind of torture she puts me through!! }(

Still regrouping from the quick trip, but I have a nice double workout planned - Muscle Max plus 60 min cardio - either TM or a step workout.

Morning Everyone!!!

It's amazing that I can jump up early on Sat and Sun...but during the week I have to roll out of bed. LOL

Today I Power Walked for 20 mins then did 45 min Super Set. That' a good workout but I only have the one I taped off of FitTV...I may buy the whole thing.

Lori- Great workout yesterday. BM does the job. I'm glad you drop some weight.

Kim- MIC looks tough so hang in there and you will make it thru the whole thing. Did you enjoy your massage...does it help with DOMS? I was think about having one done...but I've heard that it hurts.

Amelia- Hey it's time for new ankel weights...I just went to Modells and got some shirts for my son (on sale) and dumbells. I just can't go into that store and buy one thing only ;-)

Belinda- you are still in my prayers

Cheryl--Muscle Max plus 60 min cardio -...WOW that sounds long and strong. MM is over an hour and you are going to do more cardio. You GO GIRL...you inspire me to do more.

What is TM?
 
Robin-what weight dumbells did you buy,Im looking for 8lbs.There ALWAYS out in the local walmart where I go! guess I'll have to make a special trip to get them!x( Great job on todays workout:)

Cheryl-Great workout planned! MM and 60min cardio...WOW! I have done two hour wo's before,but its been a while! My kiddies ALWAYS seem to wait until I workout to want something,LOL! Thats why I started working out in the AM!:)

Today was an hour powerwalk with the last lap raining hard! I didn't really care because I was already wet w/sweat,but It was funny to see the people giving me crazy looks:D !

Kickboxing was GREAT!!!! Really tough!! Imagine a room with four rows of heavy bag, 10 bags in each row. For the warm up we had to run around the periphery of the room about two times, then we had to run sides ways each way about two times, then we ran punching our arms two times times and repeat all above. Then we did punching and kicking combos on the bag for a half hour. Then we moved into the main gym area where Karen had circuits set up. We did the circuit twice. The circuits consisted of doing each of the following for one minute: suicide runs (running back & forth the lenght of the room with the bags and touching the ground at each end then run back); ab crunches on the machine (crunch in with upper and lower body); roman chair crunches; ab wheel; wall squat (hold squate against wall for one minute); medicine ball squat and throw; push ups off boxing ring; reverse push ups off boxing ring; lunges off side of step bench; froggers (squat and jump forward twice and backward twice). I think that was the whole circuit. We did it with partners. A young man decided he wanted to join my friend and I so we were a threesome. I have discovered I need to work on my running and abs strength.

Robin- To answer your question from yesterday regarding my allergies. They are fine. Fortunately I did not develop a sinus infection from the smoke. I am fine now. Thanks for asking. Good workout!! Supersets!!! ARe you ready for the DOMS? Yes my massages help with muscle soarness b/c my massuese does a combo of swedish massage and hot stones and the stones penetrate the muscle!!! :)

opps forgot we hit the abs at the end of kickboxing and I had to leave during this part for my hair appt. I am sure she did stretching after that. When I left we had already gone 75 min.
