Happy Friday Everyone!

Today I did Kim Spreen (not spleen LOL) Abs Kick Boxing and man it was tough. There are three premixes that you can chose from Kickboxing 68 min., Combat Interval 60 min or total DVD 94 mins. I did the Combat Interval using a 9# weighted bar and I felt like Bruce Lee. I almost drop the bar a couple of times. The standing core work (with 5#DB) was great and she is really good with cueing. My favorite move was the Helicopter Strick...HA .I need to practice that one.


Today is a bakesale at my job.....:-( :-( :-(

Good Morning ladies

Well im almost scared to be happy....my screwy scale said that I was down 5lbs since last week:eek:Im not sure if I trust that but I'll take it:7! Maybe im done with loosing the inches(for right now) and back to loosing lbs!
Anyhoot,today is PH:+ and im not feeling it already! I've been walking alot lately so my thoughts are that if I do PH today,which will complete all lifting this week,I can finish up the week with my hour walks on the weekend!

I purchased some marshmallow earbuds on ebay and can't wait to get them,im currently using the old school ear phones(the ones that go over your head w/foam ear pcs)becasue the ones that came w/mp3 player really hurt my ears.and they fall out!

Robin-sorry about the bake sale at your job.I don't think I could resist}(! Glad to hear you liked the new workout! Its soooo exciting to get new workouts!

Hey Gals:)

We had a nice little sleep in:) DS didn't wake until 8:03 (to be exact!) And by the time I get him fed, coffee made and dogs in and out...HERE I AM:) On that note, one of our dogs ran away!:-( He is back now b/c DH went driving around for him, saw a mailman and ask him to keep his eyes open, sure enough, he was found on a st across from us. The longer he was gone, the more I worried though b/c I knew he could be road kill in a second. He isn't one to watch for traffic and would be ran over in no time!

I didn't get legs in yesterday, are you surprised?;) I still have everything left out but to tell you the truth, I just didn't have the time! I did 4 loads of laundry yesterday afternoon and by the time I made dinner, bathed baby and folded clothes, the last thing I wanted to do was put a barbell on my shoulders! But I will get it done today. I was also planning a run outside but it is lightly raining, although it was suppose to be sunny. I will wait a little while to see what its like. Its the perfect temp out there though.

Robin, sorry to hear about the back sale:-( But atleast its a sale and you don't have to buy anything. Its kind of different when a co-worker brings stuff to work and you have to try it. Hate to tell ya...I use to be that co-worker! hahaha I would always bake something and bring it to work. And at my last job, I use to bake stuff at work! The girls were not happy with me.

Amelia, 5 lbs...gotta be something!Even if its 3lbs, thats great. It eventually as to come off sometime. It can't keep hanging on for dear life:)

Kim, I never got a chance to repsond to the answering of my questions. Sorry to hear things didn't workout with you and your boyfriend, but your right, your better off. And you diffently are, if you know this yourself:) Maybe some day you will have kiddies.

Cheryl, what have you got planned for today? Have you been running much lately?

Well, the scale is holding for me but I am o.k with this. 128.7:) i wasn't that light before baby! Actually, I found a book from before I got preggo and it had my measurments, weight and date. I think it was in Oct '05 and my measuments and weight were more then they are now.

Good Morning Ladies!

I am kinda disappointed and confused today! x( x(

I lost 0.3 pounds since last week. These fraction of pounds are really irritating me!!! My measurements are confusing. I gained 1 1/4 inch in my left upper arm but lost 1/2 in the right??? I lost over an inch in my chest, lost 1 1/4 in waist but gained 1 3/4 in abdomen???? gained 3/4 inch in hips. And only 1.9 pounds differ for the whole 4 weekks!!!! x( x( x( I am sure I measured correctly. I did it twice!!

anyway, I gotta get to work. I will check back later. Oh, I did Baron Baptiste Athletes Power Yoga this morning. Gotta go grab MP# player for walk b/c walking partner not at work today.

Kim-I know all to well that confused feeling! The Main thing is to just keep going,don't let anything stand in your way! Just like Lori said,The Weight HAS to come off....even if ours seem to be "holding on the dear life",LOL! Congrats on the .3 thats Great! And on the measurements looses!

Lori-You crack me up<hold on for dear life>. Sometimes the weight feels like its really trying too! Did you get your WO in? Sounds like your a busy bee...as usaul!;-) I need to get my butt in gear and get some laundry done,time just flies when Im on the computer!Glad to hear there was a happy ending about your dogs running away!

Hi, everyone!

Rest today, (planned) as I have to be fasting for a life insurance check-up. But I have plenty of workout in for the first 5 days of this week and am planning an extra good one tomorrow.

Lori, I've been running about twice a week of late. It's been a good amount - but I need to be adding in more cardio interval work. Your weight goals sound good and healthy for now.

Amelia, congrats on the weight loss!!!

Kim, hang in there, gal!!

Gotta run - gotta shower before the check-up gal gets here.

Okay, I am really frustrated and feeling ready to give up!! I have pretty good. I will admit that my eating has not been absolutely clean. I shared that earlier in the week. I have made some changes and plan to incorporate more. I feel like I am doing all this work to prepare meals, have snacks, and exercise and I am progressing at a snails pace. At least when I was eating chips and chocolate daily I was maintaining- it was at a heavier weight but I was maintain. I feel like I got a tease and lost a bunch of weight and now I can not lose anymore. What makes it even more frustrating is that co-workers and family keep complimenting saying I am losing more and I am not losing on dag blasted ounce!!!! 1.9 pounds in a month!!!! I do not know what to do!

Sounds like some of us are having an o.k day...minus the measurments and the starvation!:)

I did an hour long run today and the standing work in GS Legs. I was hoping to get the whole thing done but DS had different plans.

Cheryl, I think you deserve a rest day...and diffently when your hungry! How long before you can eat?

Amelia, good job on the workout. I have been super busy again today. I finally put away all the clothes that my Aunt sent but in order to do that I had to clean out his closet and drawers. And then some how I ended up in the kitchen and cleaned the cupboards and the fridge. What a mess!

Kim, try not to get discouraged but I can see why you would. I probably would be to. Do you have a cheat meal a week? Are you correctly measuring your food? When I follwed ww's I had one day a week that I didn't count points. I did it mostly for my milk supply but it may work for you. I remember that theroy from the body for life program.

Anyway..just wanted to check in while DS was taking his nap. I was gonna go for a walk this afernoon but it looks like it might rain:-(

OMGosh Kim,I UNDERSTAND the complimenting of family members/friends! Please,Please,Please Remember that it takes time....your body is adjusting to everything.Remember My post a couple of weeks ago,I was soooo Mad becasue the scale WAS NOT moving at all!(eight weeks,maybe longer) As a matter of fact I was up a few pds,but I didn't let it get to me(well,maybe for a minute:p) and just continued with my workouts and counting my points.I do go over on my points(maybe like 5 or 6 or even more than that)on days I workout! And just like lori suggest,I also have a "cheat" day,a day that I don't count points!
But Please don't give up....you'll make it happen....will make it happen! I don't trust the scale,yes its nice to see it go down, but were gaining muscle so how can we trust it?Your scale may not be moving because of the muscle your gaining!

also are you sure you took the right measurements last time you measured?

Hugs to you,I know how your feeling right now all too well!

But Giving up is not the answer.I have faith in you,you CAN do it!
 
Lori-Im in :eek: over your cleaning spree today! You sound like me,once Im in the cleaning "zone" im pretty much in it all day!

Lori, great workout! Wow!

I can eat now. I only had to fast until after the blood/urine appointment, but I've been running back and forth to appointments since then. So the rest day was well timed.

A great work day - but we're closing out early, so I'm just about done.

Hey Ladies,

Thanks for the encouragement. I was really frustrated- as you can see if you saw my post in OD. I was literally sitting at my desk tearing up about to really start balling at work. That will not solve the problem. I am going to just "put my Big Girl boots on" and dig in and conquer this thing. I do not know how; but I just have to. I think I can use a w/o right about now. I passed up going out with friends tonight b/c I just wanted to come home and w/o and relax. I guess that yoga w/o this morning did not really help... I will try something a little more intense now. What I have been reminded of is that this is not about weight loss, it is about healthy lifestyle. How did I forget that?
 
Okay, so I went and did DenisE Austin's Bootcamp (she is not so annoying in this one). I did the whole 50 min. It is a low intermediate workout- good functional move. I got it from Netflix. I feel a bit better. I am going to take a shower, catch up on some magazines and start over in the AM. Good night all!!

Cherly-Im glad you can eat! Thanks for the congrats! I hope everything went well with all the test today!
