World's Ugliest Dog: A thing of beauty to it's owner

Dear God, that's awful!

Poor dog... Although I guess it doesn't bother him any - the article says he expects to be treated like royalty. He does look like alien baby, though.

Ha! You can't see the dog right now on it's own website because the site has exceeded its daily bandwidth!

Auuuuuuughghgh! I just saw it at the top of the thread!

My 12 year old DD told me that there is no such thing as an ugly dog. I showed her this picture and she said, "He's not ugly, he's just old and sick. He's still a loving friendly dog, how can he be ugly?"

I am sometimes humbled by my dd...

She's got a good heart though. I guess they were meant for each other as they both have been there for each other. Very touching.

She's absolutely right! And what a good heart she has.

Poor poochy!

oh just cuz hes not physically attractive is no reason to love him less. Thank god for people like her who take in needy animals which would most likely never find a home.

At first I thought it was a joke. The dog looks like a prop in a horror movie. I read the story and was very humbled by the owner's abundant love for this dog who would have otherwise been unwanted.

Yes, it was sad that the animal adoption agency wouldn't even take him in. That's really sweet of that woman.

I found this hysterical though:
"Sometimes having an ugly dog has its pitfalls. Player said Lockheed was trying to console a guy she was dating by telling him, "You're a very attractive man." He responded, "Why should I listen to you? You tell Sam he's beautiful."
