Why does no one trade away GS?

I wanted to try the GS weight workouts, so I tried to make a trade on Videofitness but not a single person wanted to let go of these work-outs. What is it that everyone loves about them?

And given that I have the pyramids, several total body and circuit Cathe work-outs and Slow & Heavy, what kind of results can I expect if I buy GS?

Thanks for any thoughts you have!

Mel

GS's are my favorite Cathe strength videos. The music is pretty good and the results I have gotten from them are awesome.

The Gym Styles are workouts, like Pure Strength, that I'll never tire of. I can see myself doing them 10 years from now. They're very effective and motivating. Many people who didn't care for the Hardcore series in general, have positive things to say about the GS workouts.

You may just want to consider biting the bullet and buying them at full price. I don't think you'll regret it!

I agree with the previous posts. The GS workouts are challenging, have good music, and move along at a great pace. Most of all, I've gotten the best results strength-wise from GS. The PUB & PLB, while still challenging and enjoyable to me, are now a little easier to do since I've been doing the GS workouts. S&H is actually my least favorite of her weight workouts.

I also agree with everyone here. The GS workouts are my favorite strength workouts. I don't get bored with them. I think they have the widest variety of exercises and I've gotten great results with them.

I don't trade mine away b/c I use them. I use all my Cathe's but the GS series is great! I did BSB on Saturday and CT today and I've been reminded of what it means to have sore muscles. I also love GS legs. The GS workouts are great! GS legs is on my rotation for tomorrow, but I'm sore from BBBB on Sunday so I may have to wait and do GS legs on Wednesday.

People don't trade them away because they're THAT good. Really. Just go ahead and take the plunge. You won't be disappointed.

I want to echo everybody else and say that I would never get rid of them. They are one of the best investments that I have made.

I agree with everyone else...GS are great workouts!

Tammy...I'm assuming that's your DS graduating! He's adorable! :) Mine's still got 3 years to go!

I would never part with my GS's. They are truly incredible for weight training. Love, love, love 'em.

If you don't have these workouts, yet, it's time you invest a little cash-ola and order them. :)

OK, I give. I ordered them (only the 2 upper body workouts for now). I knew I could count on you all to talk me into spending more money. And after I promised DH that I was done buying DVD's for now. Oh well...I'm sure he won't mind when he sees all my big new muscles. :)

Hi everyone,

Quick question on the workouts: I was reading the breakdowns for them and didn't notice any mentions of ab work - do these workouts have abwork?

Thanks,
Jennifer

None of the Gym Styles have ab work. I think this is because she did Core Max which has three different workouts on it (one with equipment, one with the stability ball and one with the medicine ball).

I'm another one who loves these workouts. This is the best weight training set available today. They can get kind of long, but you don't have to do every set. You'll still get great results. I admit to substituting in Legs and Glutes for the lower body simply because it's a shorter workout. However, I'd still never give up the Leg dvd.
