Whose done the new workouts???

I don't know about anyone else, but I am expecting each of you who received your workouts to do all 4 tonight and then give us a detailed description of how you felt during each moment.:7

Just kidding. I am so anxious to get these new ones! I can't stop visiting this site...and I have final exams for my 1st semester of my 2nd year of med school next Friday. I think I need some sort of support group so that I'll study and not compulsively check this site!

I just did Butt & Guts. Have to say I love it. I think it is my favorite lower body workout. It has been a while since my legs were shaking by doing lunges I loved the firewalkers. Will I be saying that tomorrow, probably not. The floor work was really intense and I didn't even use ankle weights yet. Since I didn't preview just did it. I used 30 on my barbell when Cathe and the crew were using 35. The ab work was really good, got a really good burn going on in the lower abs. It probably didn't help that I did Legs and Back P90x and ab ripper x yesterday. These workouts were well worth the wait.

I haven't watched the others. But it did freeze once, it was right before I went into a child pose. I meant to go back and watch that part again but I forgot after I was done.

Steph~
Did you use your band for the firewalkers? I'm curious as to how long it takes to tie them and if it would be better to buy the different band that Cathe said we could use.

I would not buy a new band. It is very easy to tie the band it takes 2 seconds. I really like that move. I can't wait to do this workout again. I have DOms today but that is good:) Cathe is the best.

I did Body Max 2 this morning and loved it. Its worth the wait. Its 30 min step, 30 min. circuit and intervals, and 30 min. upper body and abs.

The step moves were not complicated and you will pick it up right away. I burned 841 calories, even though I had to stop on some of the intervals.

You will love it. I will have to wait until tomorrow to try another one.

I did Drill Max today. Challenging but fun, fun, fun. I can't do it all yet - but that's the beauty. Something to work toward. And there are some cool, interesting, new moves in all of the workouts, as well!

I did Low Impact Ciruit today. I consider this workout more intermediate/low advanced. I love the step routine. She puts a new twist on some old moves. The blasts are not as long as they were in Low Max, which I was glad about because I wasn't a fan of Low Max. Upper body work was challenging and pretty thorough. I was glad the back work wasn't the same old lat raises and deadrows that you find in most back workouts. She uses a band for three of the back exercises and I really felt it in my muscles.

I did the workout as is, and thought it could have used a little more cardio. I think Cathe did too, because she added a nice 9 minute optional cardio workout as a bonus, which I'll probably tack on before abs next time I do this one.

I also did Low Impact Circuit today. I have nothing but good things to say about it. The cardio is on par with Cardio & Weights (which is perfect for me right now because I'm having a lot of trouble with Plantar Faciitis). I thought the weight work was a lot tougher than Cardio & Weights. The bicep section is really hard. I started with a barbell of 32 pounds and had to drop to 27 and that was still hard. For all the other weight sections, I used what Cathe used, but will need to increase the weight next time. Once I figure out the right weights for me, I think this will be one of my new favorite circuits. (I think I'm just psyched I can do this workout without any foot pain). The music is plenty loud. I doubt I'll ever want to use the "music louder" option. The premixes look like they'll be pretty good. All in all, I really liked this workout.

P.S. The only freezing I experienced was when I hit pause and then couldn't get it to unpause. Perhaps it was just my remote batteries. I definitely did not have freezing during the tricep section.

I did Butts and Guts this morning. It was awesome! I did not have any freezing problems. The moves were really interesting and I think this is going to be one of my favorite lower body workouts! This one does not have any high step ups and it uses lower weights than most of her lower body workouts. I love the floorwork, too.

The music is really good and driving. I think the music is every bit as good as Body Blast.

I have previewed all of mine and they all look fantastic and I don't see any freezing issues in any of mine, so far. :7 :7

I did Drill Max on Saturday, & I must say it is a super-fun workout! It's my first try at Cathe's strength training, & my first circuit training workout ever (other than the one we did during the road trip which was part comedy & part strength), & now I'm scrambling to figure out how to fit it into my routine without losing something else.

In any case, part of what was so fun about it is it's not what I'd call a "killer" workout--it's a nice light weight workout with some moderate to high intensity cardio. So, even though I didn't really feel like I was killing myself, by the time I finished I couldn't even begin to think about my housework b/c I needed a nap. :p

The only problems I had were the usual--space issues. I could not figure out how the heck to do the walking lunges without climbing over furniture. The leaps toward the end had me bouncing off one wall & bouncing off my sofa on the other side. I had my step on one side of the room & my yoga mat on the other.

But I did adjust, & I figure after a few times I'll have figured out the space issues. I absolutely loved this workout! :)

Tomorrow I'm trying Cardio Fusion. A little nervous b/c I haven't done the cardio sections from the other workouts, but I am looking forward to it.

Hi Catherine! So far I've only done Drill Max. This workout ROCKS, music is great/fabulous. Workout goes by fast. She has 2 challenging moves in it football drills & burpees where your expected to jump on & off the step. I was huffin & a puffin to get through this!! lol Your gonna LOVE this just as much as I did! Enjoy yours! Kathy:D
