OK, I guess I better hop on and defend myself briefly. That bit you quoted up there was from me. And it probably was a bit of a moderator-thing, but that's probably as close to "moderation" as I've ever gone. Also, I didn't do it because Jerry was a boy (I happen to like boys) but because he really had posted a lot around that time on the Ask Cathe thread. I was just reminding him (perhaps punkily) that she's a busy chick with a lot of fans. Jerry took it with good grace and I really appreciated that and I didn't say anything to him about it again. Also, I don't think I have a history of moderation or "obnoxious" posts, though I haven't done a search of my own posts recently. Anyway, I've got nothing against you personally and I hope this doesn't mean you have anything against me. I also didn't know I was in a clique. I hope we can all get along a little better.

Well, since I was called a moderator too, which is actually pretty funny in itself because everyone knows I am hardly a moderator, I guess I'll throw in my two cents. I just had a hard time with the fact that someone took a nice thread and used it as a place to bash the person it was about. I'll repeat what I said before - Catherine was not asking for ANYONE'S opinion on whether Spidey was a troll or not. It was simply a shout out from one friend to another. It's beyond innapropriate to come onto a thread like that and start to sow seeds of doubt about the poor person the thread was about. If I went around saying that I thought so and so was a child molester, do you think that wouldn't cause a problem??? If I used the argument, "Well, I didn't say he was for sure, it's just my 'impression' that he is", do you think that would make it all better? Saying your impression was that he was a troll is the same as flat out saying he is a troll and it puts that doubt into everyone who reads your statement. And it's against everything that was posted earlier about being nice to newbies. Plus I'm sure Spidey didn't appreciate it much although he has been MORE than gracious about it. I wouldn't have been.
