THERE IS NOTHING "WRONG" WITH BEING 5'2"!!!!!!!

Amy, you are so right...there is nothing wrong with being 5'2"! I certainly did not mean to imply that there is anything wrong with being 5'2". Cathe and all of her crew are beautiful and fabulous ladies, whatever their height, and I'm sure everyone else who is 5'2" is as well!!!!

Yikes, not me! I only use one riser for everything. 2 are too hard on my knees, and I'm far more likely to trip over the step and/or hurt myself. I've heard people talk about using a certain number of risers depending on your height, but I don't think it's necessary (unless you like using 2 risers, of course)

I agree Jodi. I don't think just because you are a certain height means that you should use a certain number of risers. I am completely happy with 1 set of risers and my knees thank me for it. I sweat plenty too

I agree that height shouldn't determine how many risers you use. I used to use 2 on each side for every step workout (I'm 5'3) and after a few years of that my knees quickly let me know that I could NOT keep that up (well, my back let me know too!). I now use one riser on each side all the time. (I also found out that using two risers on each side vs. one has a very small impact on total calories burned. Once I found that out, I didn't feel half as guilty about lowering my step height).

Do what feels right to you. Just because you're taller than 5'2 does NOT mean you need to use more risers.

Only 5'6"! I'm 5'9"- I would be a GIANT next to Cathe. I always thought she (Rhonda) was my height!

I am also 5'9" and for some reason i always thought Rhonda was my height too! Whenever she is in a workout i tend to watch her the most because i figure she is closest to my body type. I guess it's deceiving to see someone on TV. I would probably look like a giant beside all of them too.

I met Rhonda on a roadtrip (long ago) and she does indeed tower over the rest of the very petite (but powerful) cast.

I miss Rhonda too..I always thought she was so pretty and had a nice body to inspire me (maybe one day I'd achieve the same body, haha).
