We're in this together

Catherine - I really think you should get the elliptical, a bit of exercise will probably do you a world of good. I finally got the insurance approval today, doctor's office fault no insurance co.) and I go next Thursday!

Judy - 25 miles!:eek::eek: I can so relate to the weight not moving. All I can add is for me it was the fact that I was deluding myself thinking I was eating better than I really was. :p Thanks on the weight loss, I know for my first goal I have another 8# but I can honestly say that I am actually stating to feel like me again.

Stomach finally settled down.:D

I am feeling better today. All though the nausea had returned last night, but is all gone this morning. This morning was a circuit workout and I did High Step Challenge and it certainly was a challenge! Had to do the pushups on my knees as toe pushups make my shoulder hurt. And had a couple of interruptions on the the ...last round. First I had to stop to make DS breakfast & pack his lunch, then had to stop again right before the hover squats to put him on the bus, then finally finished it even doing the ab work. Was my fault for all the interruptions as I over slept today by half an hour.

P90X legs & back + ARX were on the agenda this morning. Chins & pulls went better but that is mainly due to the fact that I'm not lifting another body part in conjunction. When I do chest & back or back & biceps, I struggle more cuz I'm dog tired:confused:

We're heading up north tomorrow to open the cabin, clean, put in the docks & boats etc.. Not looking forward to 4 hours round trip and lots of dirty heavy work but the good thing is now, when we go up memorial weekend, we can just relax.

Linda- Glad you are feeling better!

Catherine- Whatcha got going on this weekend?

Took my mom out for lunch today. She hasn't been out much since her surgery. Poor thing is gonna go stir crazy when she has her knee replacement here in the next month.

No plans for the weekend. I still don't get out much except for real close by. I'd love to go see Iron Man 2 but can not sit that long.

Muffie was a little better yesterday but woke at 3 this morning vomiting again. We went to the vet and she got fluids and meds for her tummy. She's still not acting right. The fluids were supposed to perk her up but didn't at all :( I think the poor ole girl has seen better days.

Linda, I am glad your stomach is better. I got a chuckle at your interruptions due to oversleeping by half an hour.

Judi, I remember doing better with chins and pulls with L&B as opposed to C&B. As a matter of fact I always tried to put my chins and pulls on leg day for that very reason - to make my numbers look better:p

Getting ready to head up north to the cabin but wanted to pop in to wish you both a great Saturday! The sun is finally shining here which is good for all the outdoor work we have to do.

Catherine- How is Muffie doing?

Linda- Are you done digging out the pool?;)

Judi - Are you back from the cabin? Did you survive the heavy work?

Catherine - How is Muffie? Hope she's better soon.

I have been fighting the stomach issues all weekend since Thursday. Has not been fun at all. I did Muscle Max this morning pretty much just matching Cathe all the way. And I took Saturday off because I felt so lousy Friday night.

The cabin is cleaned and ready to go. It will be nice to go there on Memorial weekend and not have to do much work. Yesterday was P90X chest & back for the last time!! I'm on the final two weeks and will be glad to do something else. I'm hoping to get back into kettlebells and do a round of endurance workouts.

Linda- Hope you are feeling better soon! Tummy troubles are no fun:( Do you have your MRI this thursday?

Catherine- Miss you here. Hope everything is OK.

Judi - Now that will be nice to just show up Memorial Day weekend and not have to work like mad. Yes, my MRI is this Thursday afternoon. Actually ended up taking pain meds Sunday night, it's been okay since then.

Catherine
-Whacha up to?

Stomach is wonky again today, but I did manage 30/30, then a nap before my client showed up.

Hey ladies. Let's see,... I think I am getting back to where I was before my flare. So doing a little bit better but still having rough evenings. Muffie is some better. She was touch and go all weekend. I really thought she was gonna need IV fluids. Not much else going on. I am freezing today though. Where did the warm sunny weather go.

Linda, what the heck is up with your stomach :( Your MRI is Thursday, right?

Judi, glad the cabin is clean for the holiday and now you can enjoy.

This morning was legs and STS Disc 20 Triset legs. Have to admit I am starting to feel like Debbie a few weeks ago in that I feel like I need an extended break. My low back hurts, my left hip flexor hurts, my neck is stiff, and of course my shoulder(s). Oh and also my stomach issues. The two things stopping me though are how to do you participate in a Biggest Loser Competition w/o working out and I am thinking the extended break will be coming with the shoulder surgery. Okay I done whining now. Sorry.

MRI tomorrow!

Linda, (((hugs))) I hope you get some answers with your MRI so this can be over for you. I have heard that a MRI of the shoulder can be uncomfortable. Do you have any pain med you can take before hand?

Judi, what was on for today? I forget what the P90X rotation is.

I am actually **crosses fingers** starting to feel slightly normal. I am working till about 4 and tolerating it better. I am still having issues but they seem some better. Slow and steady wins the race right? I am still afraid to lift any weights even though the doc says I can

Today was P90X shoulders & arms plus ARX. I only have 1 1/2 weeks left and I can't believe how fast this 3 month rotation went. After, I brought a couple recliners to a donation center then power washed the deck so I can stain it tomorrow. My neck was killing me toward the end since I was looking down the whole time. OUCH!

Linda- Maybe an extended break might be just what you need. Your body is telling you something. Good luck with your MRI. The only painful part for me when I had mine was when the tech had to place my arm in a certain position otherwise it was fine. I get a little freaked out being enclosed so I opted for an open sided MRI machine this time.

Catherine- Your improvements sound very encouraging! YAY! I agree that slow and steady wins the race so keep doing what you are doing and don't worry about lifting weights yet. Wait until you feel ready...you'll know when the time is right. HUGS!

Linda, how'd the MRI go. I know you won't have results yet but I hope you survived it ok.

Judi, yay for Friday massages:eek:

Hey I had my massage yesterday!:D:D:D

Okay just back from the MRI. It was an interesting experience to say the least. Unfortunately I guess I don't get to know anything until my doctor's appointment on Monday.

Saw my massage therapist yesterday and he worked on the plethora of other ailments I was having like back, hip flexor and neck. So today I thought I should go a little easier so I did LIS cardio only premix. Wanted a longer low impact workout but DH didn't tell me until I got up this morning that he was leaving for work 15 minutes early which meant I had to have DD ready earlier(he drives her to school) grrr!:mad::mad: Tummy was once again iffy after the cardio but has come around since.

Woo Hoo!! I'm a great aunt for the second time:) My nephew and his wife had a baby girl this afternoon...Hannah May weighing in at a whopping 9.2 pounds!! Holy crap! Both my kids were 6 pounds and I can't imagine spitting out anything bigger:eek:

I did Powerstrike 1 this morning followed by 5 hours of staining the deck. UGH! What an awful job but the reward is how nice it looks afterward. I was pretty achy after so I chugged a couple beers and now the achy-ness is less noticable....YAY for beer! Beats an Advil any day;)

Linda- Don't you hate it when you get your MRI and still have to wait to find out the results?! Did they send you home with the films? When I had my shoulder films, I was tempted to bring them to my neighbor who is a doctor. I was dying to know but felt that was overstepping the "good neighbor" rules. Sorry to hear your tummy is still not happy:(

Catherine- I can't wait for my massage......How about you? Hope you are still feeling good.

Judi - And that is why my deck is made from recycled milk jugs!:D:D:D:D They were suppose to send me home with the films but would you know that their printer was broke today. So I will get them tomorrow or Saturday. REally can't wait to hear what the doctor has to say.;)

Catherine
- It's great to hear that you are making some progress. No need to rush the weights, you'll get there.

TGIF Ladies! Quick fly by as I need to leave for my massage. I got in P90X legs & back this morning. Why are my jeans always tighter after a leg workout?!

Anyhoo, hope you both have a great day!
