We're In This Together *~July~*

Hey Natty- did you see what I wrote in the comment thread on puzzle mats? Try using black duct tape along the interlocking seams of your puzzle mats to prevent them from coming apart. I went vertical and horizontal as well so it looks like my mat has black squares on it ;). Make sure the tape is as smooth as you can get it. Run your hand along as you put down the tape so there are no wrinkles or ridges and it seals down tight (so no flaps come up if you know what I mean). My mat is just one big unit now! lol I keep it down all the time rather than moving it out of the way. Mark is so understanding to let me keep this big puzzle mat down in our bedroom!

Today I have to take Lydia in for a well child doctor check and vaccinations. I wish I had made the appointment later in the day! I'm going to have to workout when we get back so I guess I'll be taking two showers today!

Later girls!

Hello everyone :)

Did I mention I hate UPS? Serious HATE . How hard is it to get my address and buzzer # correct? This is like the 10th time I have problems with my packages, and I literally had enough, so I called and gave a huge complaint...not like that will do a %$#&@# thing anyway . For future on-line purchases, I'm confirming the delivery method, and if the company even mentions UPS, I'm cancelling my order. Vent done :D

I had a post typed out this morning, and of course it all got erased by the click of a backspace button . That really peeves me off .

Ok, to sum up my post, I can't continue with M3. Don't feel bad, it's ok, life goes on. The heavy weights I'm dealing with wreak havoc on my back, and I just can't get injured and erase all my hard work. Better to play it safe. My plan for the next 3 weeks is a laxed rotation including 3 days weights/2 days cardio. I'll probably throw in some M1 & 2 in there, including plyo legs. Yesterday I did a goodie fusion of High Reps UB premix + STS TB compound back premix + chest/shoulder's/tri's compound premix. Total time of 50min. It was great. My back is good today :).

Colleen
Your tip worked like a charm ;). Because Mark is a tight-ass when it comes to stuff like that, I duct tapped the entire underside of the mats, so no tape shows. It took a bit longer, but it was worth it not to hear him complain . I feel like a loser not having thought of that before .
I bet you look wonderful in pics, shorts, skirts, bathing suits ;). I understand your modesty about the legs, I have them to. That's why I always wear a skirt/short bottom at the beach. I'm fairly insecure about my Kim Kardashian butt and cellulite . But I've made peace with every dimple though :D.

Sarah
No, that's not the recipe. Have you seen all the crepes/protein pancakes on there? I already submitted 2 recipes, a quinoa cookie and key lime tart, and they didn't get chosen :(.

Jen
Congrats on squat rack Jen! You are amazing :)
You should put a pic on your avatar. You look great too, very youthful :).
Hope your knee is feeling better.

Have a good day ladies :)

Hello Friends.

Natty-Wise decision to stop on STS. Your health is more important than anything else.
UPS can be a problem, they dumped my Troy-lite barbell in the rain next to my door.Yes, I understand your need to vent. Thanks for the compliment.

Colleen-Hope Lydia's appt goes well. Two showers? Getting more use from duct tape since I'm home more.

Sarah-Hope you have a great day.

Today, I blogged about an incubator commercial kitchen and the owner loved it! Thank God, it made me nervous. The exposure is slowly gaining. Also, a disturbing trend in the US, many contract agencies for employment are NOW asking the job candidate to pay for drug tests. If it happens, you legally have the right to choose what happens to the results. Recently, I applied for a position and they asked me to pay for basic training and background checks. If I passed, I could make three pay scales but they would put everyone at the lowest to save the client money.
Another possibility of employment b/c of the blog.
Might try to do the next disc tonight, depends how long my catsitter stays, then Thursday night is another networking event.
Feeling a bit guilty, I just had a Wendy's single w/cheese loaded with small fries and ketchup.

Trying to keep up with Cathe gave me serious DOMS in my Bi's.

Today I had my friends kids and attempted to do CrossFire. Things went pretty well but couldn't concentrate 100% on it so it was lacking slighty.
I will also be taking a walk tonight for the dogs sake.

My part that I will never show is the belly. Without a doubt I accept everything, but my tummy and thats simply because it has never been flat even when I was a dancing there was still a little pooch.

Sounds like you made a hard decision Nat, but it sounds like the right one. I feel very bad, cause I know lifting heavy makes you feel powerful. Keep trying on the recipes too. I need to try again myself, I gave up after only one try.

I hope everything went well with Lydia exam and shots. I know that can be rough. (my kids like them, but when I was little I slapped the nurse ) It's every bit as stressful on the parent if the child is not cooperating.

Jen- Don't feel guilty about indulging every now and again. Your body might just have been craving that burger.

Sarah

Good morning ladies :)

Yesterday was a rest day. I spent the afternoon out with Bella walking and at the park. Every time we get to the park, she makes a little friend :). It's so cute. I wonder if she'll be that social once she starts school.
I told you about her love affair with animals right? Whenever she see's a dog or cat, she has to go over and try to pet it. She will also tell the animal that she "loves" it upon leaving. She keeps insisting we get her a guinea pig, bird, hamster, dog, kitty, whatever comes to her mind. I feel bad because although I have 2 cats, they are not very active or friendly in their old age. All they do is sleep, eat and poop :(. She asked Mark yesterday if we could get a hamster (which I'm never getting because I heard they're mean), he said maybe when she gets older and is ready. Well, she totally freaked out, crying and screaming, with tears even! I'm on the fence if we should get her a small pet now. I know her, and she is not the type of kid that the novelty will wear off and she'll forget about it (like all her toys which she does not even look at). She genuinely loves animals. Any recommendations for a small pet? I heard guinea pigs are ok.

Today's w/o is plyo-legs .

Jen
You know what, I crave Wendy's burger's too! Something about them :p. Ya, don't feel guilty. Indulgences every now and then are perfectly acceptable ;)
I'm so happy your blog is turning out so well and creating possible job opportunities.
Sucks about contract agencies asking for their employees to pay for drug tests and training. Companies are getting cheaper and cheaper .

Sarah
I loved your comment about the "pa-pow" booty :D.
Which workout did you do trying to keep up with Cathe's and her insanely strong bi's?
BTW, are you doing another rotation or just you're own thing?

Colleen
How did Lydia's well-check visit go?

Have a great day ladies :)

Hello Friends.
Didn't go to an agency to register my resume so my unemployment didnt come in but my savings covered it plus I contacted UIA. Deep down, I knew I would have issues. Since I was already approved, I knew I didn't do something.
Checked out Horizontal Conditioning, they look hard so I won't be purchasing those anytime soon.
Networking tonight. So, I will indulge and have a beer.
Heading to northern MI one week from Friday. Family reunion and Venetian Fest.

Colleen-Where are you?

Sarah-Yes, you need to concentrate on these new workouts. Glad it went well. I have a pooch as well. Drinking tea brings it down a bit, but stress keeps it there.

Natty-The only problem with getting a small animal or "critter," is that if it gets out, your cats may enjoy the hunt and the reward later. My neice wants a kitty or a puppy too. Its a tough call. When Adrian passed, my old cat, it took me weeks before I found Seville and Madrid. I went to every adoption for every rescue mission then ended up at the Humane Society. Check out breeds before ruling everything out.

Have a great day!

JT

It was pyramid that I tried to keep up so it was 12reps of hammer curls, 12 reps of reg. curls w/ 10lbs, followed by 10 reps of both @ 12 lbs, followed by 8 reps of both @ 15lbs. I think because there was no rest between the hammers and reg with little rest in between sets. The burn was so intense. Plus I love her comments during it, she was struggling right along with me. I am still feeling it today just as much as yesterday.

I have been so lucky as far as pets go. My kids hadnt asked for anything until last year when a teacher gave them fish :(. Boring. Boring. It's a little bit of a challenge to keep them alive though. I had rabbits, guinea pigs, turtle, hermit crabs, mice, cats, dogs, and rats growing up. My fav. was the rat. My son and I want ball python (they stay small) but my husband seems to not like snakes (although he won't admit it). My 12 year old cousin just got a small dog. There a fine line between something that will give her the feeling of caring for something, and the animal that are just about maintence with no cuddles (like fish, hermit crabs and turtles).

I have to tell you about my story with the hermit crabs. My daughters were 5 and TJ was 3. We had gotten them for TJ's B-day. The girls knew about them and had held them previously w/o problems. So on his b-day with family and kids at the house. The girls brought out the aquarium to show there bro.. Taylor picked one up to show everyone (with a brave proud face). She held it in the palm of her hand. Her face slowly turned from smiling brave and proud to pain, tears and screaming. The hermit crabs was pinching her. We all rushed over to try and pull that sucker off. It took a couple of min. before he released his tight little grip he had on my daughters palm. Eventually they all died, I was relieved. :)

Jen- That sucks your unemployment didn't come through. Thanks god you were prepared. Have you gotten back on that spinning bike yet? I would really like to take a look at your blog, if your comfortable with that. I think I should dabble in one for my small business.

I hate UPS also, although they were super good when they delivered the spin bike.

In light of you stopping M3 early, do you regret getting the tower? Just curious.

Today might be CycleMax

Sarah

Afternoon ladies!

Yesterday was a usual crazy day off. Lydia's appointment went fine, except she had to have her shots for kindergarten. It's so tough when they feel that first needle go in, start to cry and yet they have two more to do :(. I get a little frustrated with the kids because it seems like every time I take them both in for a doctor's appointment they can't sit still and quiet. They are constantly touching things and getting into things and I'm all stressed out trying to get them to listen and sit. Listening to mom was a big problem all day yesterday... Later in the day Lydia started being a little monster and it continued into this morning trying to get ready for work and go. It occurs to me now she is probably still feeling the effects of the tetanus shot so maybe that was why she was so cranky and difficult. She really knows how to push my buttons, though. I'm scared for the teenage years!

Okay, anyone else not able to get the smilie emoticons to work today? It's driving me crazy! I use those suckers all the time!!!

So, my workouts. I did Horizontal Conditioning volume 2 yesterday and a short kettlebell workout which was basically just timed swings to finish it off. I'm still loving HC! That's the one volume I can finally do without pausing and taking extra breaks...YES! The volume 4 and bootcamp one will be much tougher to get to that point, though. Today I did CrossFire, the less impact premix. I was bummed as many of my favorite exercises were omitted from that premix and some of my not so favorite were included (the warrior lunge move bothers my hip and the woodchop she does bothers my lower back so I'm going to have to modify with different moves in the future). When I think about it, even the plyo moves are really not that bad in that one. I found the first time I did it that it was easy to modify by simply making the jumps smaller, baby hops. I think I'll just do the regular workout from now on that way.

I don't blame you one bit for stopping Meso 3 Natty! Definitely play it safe! If you recall, I bowed out early on M3, too. I think lifting that heavy is a little tricky at home with no one to spot you or watch your form for you. Lots of people have done it with success but I really felt the same as you and didn't want to continue. The M3 upper body workouts were the very first time I actually felt dread with a Cathe workout. Still try out the Plyo legs routines sometime though, when you feel better. They are phenomenal!!
Oh, and I had a guinea pig at one time. They are okay, pretty cuddly but messy too! I'm not big on lots of pets, though. Our one cat is plenty for me! I hope you don't regret having the tower. Even though I don't plan on doing Meso3 in the future I still love having that thing for pull ups, modified push ups and for balance with turbobarre. I've actually been in the habit that every time I do an HC workout, I try to do as many pull ups as I can afterwards.

Sarah- I love the Pyramid workout! I always fry my biceps and chest big time on that one! I remember the last time I did it, I tried to keep up with Cathe's weights too and my biceps were crazy sore!
So sorry about the hermit crab story! I think that would be pretty freaky for her!

Jen- LOL on the two showers...yes I'm one of those people who absolutely must shower in the morning before I go out in public anywhere. Even if I showered the night before and didn't work out I have to do it or else I feel totally scuzzy. Then of course, I finally got my workouts in after we got back from the doctor. All sweaty and yucky, second shower! Mark is so funny because he routinely showers twice a day during the work week. He swears he can't wake up in the morning without one and then he immediately showers after work (he is a plumber after all ;)). Between that, the constant laundry, the dishwasher that never seems to stop running and watering the garden twice a day the water bill can get up there!
So sorry about the unemployment thing. Hopefully that gets worked out. I'm so glad your blogging is going so well!

Okay, wrote a novel...have a great day everyone!!

Today I went for a lovely 1 hour walk to our local McDonald's so Bella could have her weekly treat and play at the PlayPlace. And of course, I got a little treat for myself too ;). The hot weather has subsided for now, and is actually very enjoyable. We've been over 100F for the longest time

Ohhh, I'm very excited my Leslie DVD and new Cathe 6ft bands came in the mail today! All my bands were 5ft, and I really wanted (needed?) the extra foot ;)

I have NO REGRETS with my Turbo Tower. None. I love that thing!! I plan on doing more pull/chin-ups with it, and of course Turbo Barre :D. I gotta pull that one out very soon.

Speaking of the TT, did you hear Cathe is making a redesign of it? Any money the new model will be used as a squat rack . Sarah, that's gonna be a sure sign to pick one up asap!

Gotta jet! BB tomorrow to write responses. I'm going to toddler time with Bella at the rec center tomorrow and then swimming afterwards.

Have a good night all :)

Hello Friends.
Happy Friday, not really since we all awoke to the mass shooting in CO during the Batman movie.

Colleen-Yes, kids know how to push buttons. I'm guilty of that with my family plus I've seen it working in the nursery (newborns) at church. Congrats on HC!! Those workouts look very difficult. Haven't ventured into premix of the new workouts yet.

Sarah-Yes, I will PM you my link to my blog. Not ready to go viral here cause many others read this thread besides us. I think I own Pyramid, its GS I don't have.

Natty-McD's does serve a purpose, it amazes me how young kids figure that place out. Didn't hear that Cathe will redesign the tower, I will keep mine though your idea of being a squat rack makes sense or make it less cumbersome.

No word yet why my UIA wasnt posted but 99% sure of the reason why. I emailed them yesterday, if I dont hear by Monday, I will call.
My networking event was more of a drinking social than networking. Not as good as the first. Going to buy hedge trimmer shears to get rid of overgrown and dead branches near my house.
Hope to do wk 2, m3, last workout tonight.

JT

Tody I did Grace and Gusto by Ellen Barrett. I couldn't decide what to do and then realized I really needed a recovery/stretchy workout today. I've been feeling so drained and achy from ttotm:(. I keep telling myself I need to do at least one Ellen a week to keep myself in balance and yet it doesn't end up happening but once a month:rolleyes:. Maybe I'll try to make it a goal this month to do Ellen on Fridays...it's so hard to fit it all in!!!

I was totally thinking of you during this workout Natty! I was thinking about your lower back and how you thought about maybe adding a little yoga in. I know how excruciatingly boring and slow those dvds can be though! I think you might like this one. The thing with Ellen and this workout in particular is her workouts are really active stretching. She really stretches and lengthens the side body and lower back in this video nicely, and yet it doesn't feel like a stretch workout since you are moving the whole time and there is just a sprinkle of cardio and toning in there to keep you from being bored. You can get her stuff at both Collage and TotalFitness. Where do you normally buy your stuff? I heard that Collage has terribly expensive international shipping, is that true? Here's a video clip of G&G: Grace and Gusto - YouTube
Have fun with your new Leslie dvd too!

I have to tell you guys, I'm really excited for XTrain the more I think about it! I was considering doing STS again in the fall (Meso 1 and 2 only using Plyo legs as a second leg day) but I might just wait for XTrain. Maybe I'll still do it...I just hate to give up my HC workouts though and I'm not sure if that would be too much to do during STS. Decisions!!

Jen- I was so shocked about the Colorado shooting. I hadn't actually seen anything about it yet until I read your post and then I went to the CNN website after. These types of events always shake my faith in humanity. :(

I ended up doing Cyclemax yesterday and kept up. So the other day I will chalk up to just being off. Afterall it's good to take a week off here and there ;)

I walked into the kitchen today to make my regular oatmeal. But the smell of the ripe peaches on the counter was just too tempting for me to resist. So I played around with a peaches and cream version of my oatmeal. It was really good.

I agree Colleen about the shooting in CO shaking my faith. However, last night I walked in our podunk towns parade passing out candy to the little ones, throwing candy at the big ones ;), and waving at everyone we have come to know in the 9 years we have lived hear. Makes me feel good. Then we went to the fair afterwards. The kids were running around like maniacs. It was fun to watch them with their friends. Celebrating the old fashioned things like , canning, quilting, raising and showing animals, and playing the ping pong toss game where you have an opportunity to win a real goldfish , is what will stay in my heart when I think of the humanity.

Perhaps Pyramid LB is today, still feeling doms from the UB portion :p

Sarah

Hello ladies:):)

Today's workout was a killer with 4DS upper body premix (70min). I love that workout! It's mostly heavy weights/low reps, but there is so much variation & variety; band work, drop-sets, super-sets, push-ups (different variations including high & low ends/triceps/wide). The flow is very quick, moving fast from one exercise to the next, which gave it an "endurace-type" feel (my HR was up, I was sweating) but with moderate/heavy weights. My muscles felt completely worked to fatigue. I think I may stick with this workout 2X/week.

Busy day today, I'm pooped. We went to toddler time gymnastics in the AM followed by a tot & parent swim at 12pm. My cousins and aunt were able to join us in the swim, which was nice.

Tomorrow I have to attend a stagette dinner at an Italian Restaurant for my cousin-in-law. Her plan is to have dinner and then go "clubbing" afterwards to this really snotty nightclub. I will attend the dinner but not the club. Unless I'm there to pick up some "hotties" or have them try to pick me up or grab my butt, I find clubs totally useless IMO. I was just never into that sort of thing. Give me a bar however, and I'll drink with the best of them ;).

OMG, that shooting in Aurora was so devastating. We had a shooting in Toronto a few days ago where someone starting shooting at party. A few people got killed, including 1 child. My heart goes out to the family and friends of the wounded and killed. This world is SO F-up.

Colleen
I think I might like Ellen Barrett. She is so very calm and pretty. Thank you for the workout vid tip, I'll check it out.
I was previewing Leslie, and I really like her. She gives off this great vibe. AND, she has my body-type, which is so motivating! I think I might become a Leslie fan and pick up some more of her workouts :).

Jen
Thank you for the tips on the pets. I agree, cats have natural hunting instincts and all I need is to find a dead hamster on my living room floor.
How is M3 going? I feel bad I bailed on ya :(.

Sarah
Your peaches & cream oatmeal sounded delish. You always make food sound so wonderfully appetizing.
Your memories of humanity were very nice to read about. I truly believe most people in this world are good, but as the years pass, evil seems to triumph.

Have a great weekend ladies

Hello Friends.
Watching the news in shock. The first person who passed away spent her toddler years in metro Detroit. They showed her at the hockey rink near Ann Arbor with a guy with a Michigan shirt on, UofM. She lived thru the Toronto tragedy one month before.

Sarah-Havent been on my spin bike or any other bike I have (2). Still imtimidated from it, more fear than it actually is. Your breakfast sounds delicous. Glad you got my message.

Colleen-Ellen Barrett? Where do you find these people? I never heard of HC and I get the Collage newsletter. Outside of Cathe, I have Gin, Cycle Reebok and Amy Bento Ross plus one Mindy Mylera tabata spin. Excited about Xtrain too.

Natty-4DS rocks!! I only combine hi/lo step and kickbox/bootcamp b/c I have so many other strength workouts I don't do those. Toddler gymnastics sound like fun. It would be great to see all these kids doing somersaults and stuff. Have fun at your dinner on Saturday. Not my thing. Yes, this world is F-Up, big time. It's ok to stop STS, it's better to prevent injury.

Last night, I went to an Irish bar for an networking event. It was more like post-college Friday night bar instead of networking although there were handsome, single men present so I was fine.
Today, I purchased hedge shears and trimmed the heck of a overgrown bush and my neigbor's tree overtaking one side of my house and part of my driveway. My upper body is sore plus I did disc 30 of bi's, tri's and shoulder too. 6 more discs to do then hopefully get thru my Cathe collection before Xtrain.
Next weekend, I will be in northern MI for a Venetian Fest. This festival is known to have 20K in less than 3 blocks surrounded by water. With the primary sponsor being a casino, I hope they pay extra for security. Lots of partying on yachts, condos and on the beach.
On Linked in, the blog is helping my personal life too. A guy from NJ who now lives in FL requested connection with me. I was friends of friends with him in college. He intrigued me being Italian and from Jersey or Brooklyn.

Have a great night and peace.

No time for workout yet today. I wanted to get it in this morning but it didn't happen and now I'm at work. Not sure if it will happen after work, either:(.

Jen- I found Ellen on Collage video. :) Much of what I discovered lately though was through VF. Even though they tick me off sometimes on there with the Cathe issue I've gotten some amazing workouts that I wouldn't have found otherwise. It's nice to get all that info and feedback about the various instructors and systems out there. I got into HC because my hero on there was into it big time. Her name is Cheryl (momof10) and I really look up to her. She is 56, has 10 kids (6 of whom she home schooled) and yet she manages to stay fit and do these crazy hard workouts. She's such an inspiration!

Just got a file...gotta run. TTYL!

Barely able to walk today. Holy cow that Pyramid LB snuck up on me. I thought when Cathe started with 12 rep @ 25 lbs on her bar for the step ups was light so I went with 40  Uh yeah, it was basicly down hill from there. I managed to eek out the rest of the workout just matching Cathe and crew. I was dripping with sweat (almost as bad as Cyclemax). My hammies are screaming and to top it off it's TTOTM :( So I will pop a few advil today and call it good.

Jen - Since you were at an Irish bar, did you have an Irish coffee? Oh so delicious.

Nat- you are busy, busy, busy.

Colleen - Your hero does sound like a huge inspiration. You almost have me convinced that I too need 1 HC :D

No rotations for me right now. I think I may stick with Pyramids for awhile with 3-4 days of cardio. I like only having to dragout all those weights 2 rather than 3 times a week. I know its not a huge deal but, I also like having fewer distractions (kids) when I'm lifting. So maybe when school roles around again in Sep I will do 4 weeks of GS too.

Stopping by to say Hello. Yesterday, I went to breakfast then shopping with my former supervisor/always friend. I got her hooked on the Lose It! app. She does Zumba for her workouts.
No Irish coffee at the Irish bar...I did meet someone whom is rather intriguing. He must be in a relationship though but I'm asking a mutual friend.
Today, it's the first workout of week 3 of M3. Won't be working out from Wednesday-Sunday due to commitments and weekend up north.

Colleen-Collage is where I saw Cathe first when she came out with her wedding workout but going thru my divorce, I didnt get it. Been ordering with Collage for years though.

Sarah-Hope you can walk soon. Been there/done that. Doesn't Pyramid have a combo LB and UB together?

Natty-Please update us on your stagette party.

Happy Sunday :)

Yesterday's stagette dinner did not go very well. I won't go into detail, but let's just say there were numerous problems with the restaurant/service, and tension between some of the women there. My meal was very enjoyable however. I enjoyed a martini ;), grilled calamari (shared), pizza bruschetta (shared), grilled rainbow trout w/veggies, and a caramel crunch cake (shared). My pregnant cousin was there, and so she ordered lots of appetizers and we all shared amongst a few of us. I felt ok, not stuffed, had a little bit of everything.

I actually got a lot of compliments yesterday, which caught me off guard. No one believed I had gained 65lbs during my pregnancy. I got compliments on my stomach (which is fairly flat -- the upper part anyway ;)). Then my aunt took out her phone and proceeded to show everyone the pics she took of me at the beach . She has lost a large amount of weight herself, just turning 50yrs old, and looks awesome.

I did Leslie's 5 Really Big Miles yesterday, but only got to 4 miles as I was in a rush to get ready for dinner. I used my 20lbs weighted vest (I just had to, it was only walking :D). I quickly realized 20lbs puts a lot of strain on the back and shoulder's, and so I dropped to 12lbs. To be honest, it was a nice change of pace from what I usually do. I had to stop myself from jogging/jumping at times, since my frame of mind is to always go a bit harder .

Jen
Your Irish bar night sounded fun. I love looking at handsome men ;). IMO though, if the personality lacks, then the guy is ugly no matter what. I remember there was this one manager who worked for the same company as me, we got along well and even went out casually for a few drinks as friends. He was not the most handsome man, very skinny, average looking at best, but his personality made him extremely attractive in my eyes. If I was not married, that man would have been mine, regardless of his looks ;)

Colleen
That woman on VF seems very inspirational. A hero indeed :).

Sarah
Hope you are feeling better today with TTOTM and DOMS.

Gotta head out to the splash pad! Have a great day ladies

Natty, I found out this guy's is nice from a mutual friend whom is friends with his ex-girlfriend but time will only truly tell. My "friend", his personality makes it hard to be in relationship with him. The attraction I had once to him has faded quickly since Feb.. No wonder why he's losing friends continually.

That is great that you got all those compliments!! Your dinner sounded good. Bummer on the tensions and the restaurant service.

Great job on your walk! An extra 20 pds changes everything.

Yesterday I ended up having a special day with my son. We went to a pottery painting place and had a really good time. Then ended up meeting my husband for dinner. Then the 3 of us went and looked at new cars

I test drove a Ford Explorer. I liked it alot, but it was so expensive. I just dont drive enough to spend that much money on a car.

Today I took another day off because I still have major DOMS.

I picked a flat and a half of raspberries. They are my fav. berry. Even though we may not get anything from our garden, our berries are doing great. Tomorrow I will have to pick blueberries. I worked outside for most of the day.

So Nat tell me more about the Leslie Sansone DVD. I really am thinking this would be good for my mom. Your dinner sounded super good.

Jen, I can't believe your almost done with STS. Thats great.

Colleen - I hope you had a good day off with your family. Although I know it's not your day off, you probably had to clean the house :(

Sarah
