OMG, I think Cathe is trying to kill me!!! Or make me seriously broke ;)
Did you guys hear about her new plans for a 10pk strength training DVD set??!! I'm totally in shock right now. Check out the Ask Cathe forum for details.

Today's workout was 40min of Imax2. Mark ordered pizza and so I was super starving and cut my workout short :D.

Greek is one of my fav's :p :p. 900cal is pretty average for a whole restaurant meal. I usually take 1/2 or more in a doggie bag. My stomach loves it, but can't handle all that food at once. Now you made me crave Greek :p
I was going to suggest the same thing about the younger men like Sarah ;). However my mother has always dated men 20 years younger than her and it never turned out :confused:. I understand though where you are coming from. When it's meant to be, you will find the right person :). 50 is the new 20 :cool:.

OMG, I saw the thread about the workouts. I will purchase pre- sale it makes sense. Yes, Cathe will do both Natty of breaking financially and physically.
Today, again, a person moves to Dallas then move back. Crazy.
104 right now so no workouts for me. Sunday night hopefully. Then start 3 on Monday. Two networking events next week.

I did the premix without the compound leg work, UB & core (I did not want the weight work to interfere with my active recovery) + low impact Tabata add on for a total of 45min. No modifications needed :D. Same step height as Cathe, same tempo, same blue firewalker, no additional breaks. Doing Supreme 90-Day Tabata, 40/20, CCC and Imax 3 really conditioned me for this workout. A Cathe masterpiece :D. All my endorphins are flowing and I feel very happy right now. Tomorrow is Crossfire :eek:

So I'm assuming you're getting in on that pre-order. I wonder how much it's gonna cost, being that it's a 10pk set.

Natty-I KNEW you could do it just like Cathe. She needs you on the crew. Congrats on smoking it!! Yes, I start Monday on 3 too. I caught up.
Her workouts will depend on how she packages them, like LIS and STS would be cheaper than do it seperately. 10pak sounds like it will be together. Guesstimate about $140 presale. Depends on premixing too.

You know what, it was someone I met at the diner yesterday and I spoke to a lady today too whom moved back.
Went shopping at Stein Mart today and bought two pair of nice drawstring shorts for $9each and a salmon colored Jones New York tee for $15. Didn't see anything at Dress Barn though. My fave drive-in is closed in another city. It was all local made and it sat right on a good sized lake that connected to a huge one. Got Subway for two meals.
Plan to do TTM on Sunday. 3 on Monday and Tuesday then legs on Friday. Two networking events this week. Life is getting back to normal. Blogging is getting easier.
 
LIS was $99.97 charged to my plastic with regular postal service. 10 DVDs. I got curious after you asked so I looked it up. Yes for pre-sales.

Currently driving home from minneapolis. I can't wait to get home! I saw the post about cathe's new ones too...I'm totally in!!!! :D
I'll be back more to catch up on all the posts and write a bunch more about the trip and stuff. One word,,very hot! However it was apparently even hotter in wisconsin. Our sidewalk outside our house buckled from the heat! Okay, typing on this stupid blackberry sucks. Talk to you all tomorrow!!
 
It's 6 in the morning and I think I will go on a run before we head out for Prineville Oregon. Won't be home till Sunday :p

I did To the Max yesterday too Nat. I loved it it. I thought it was really fun. I also really liked the ab work in it .

Colleen - I hope you had a great trip with your family and by the time I get back your sure to have done CF and TTM.

Jen - Subway always sounds so perfect to me on hot nights. Have fun on your blog this week.

Nat - hopefully everything is back to "normal" with Bella now. Now you and Jen can kick some M3 a**

To The Max low impact Tabata premix just SCREAMS your name. Lots of wonderful little plank exercises I'm sure you'll love. The whole workout is friggin' awesome :eek:.

I pre-ordered LIS too, but the downloads, and I only paid $89.00 or something around there. I can't wait to see what compilation Cathe has up her sleeve this time :eek:.
You got some great clothing deals. It's nice to treat yourself to new stuff once and while ;).

Ah, so nice to wake up in my own bed!:D

I hope everyone had a great week. I missed you guys! It was tough to keep up on posts since my blackberry is really unwieldy with Cathe's site and for some reason I had a harder time getting her site to load down in Florida. The service to my phone was spotty as it was but 90% of the time when I tried to load Cathe's site it would say "server busy" or whatever:confused:.

I really missed my workouts too! I can not wait to workout today! Unfortunately since we had the mailed stopped all of our mail is at the post office and so I won't be able to get TTM and CF until tomorrow.:( I am soooo stoked to do them both! I can't wait to see more of what Cathe has up her sleeve for the new 10 disc set! She is amazing...like the energizer bunny of workout dvd instructors!:eek: I have a feeling she is going to keep making workouts for a long time to come which is awesome to me since I feel like she gets better and better with time!:D I really think she is going to keep low impact premixes for us to which is awesome since so many Cathletes are in their 40's and beyond. She is watching out for all of us!

The trip was fun for the kids and sort of fun for me;). Unfortunately, there was some grumpiness and tension amongst the adults at various times. My sister and her husband...I love my them so much but they can sometimes drive us crazy. With them it's all rush rush rush...hurry up and wait. I've never met people who are so intent on rushing to do everything under the sun and yet lollygag as much as they do! I'm like...can we just relax and enjoy what we're doing right now? Lordy. The weather was pretty hot of course, which was fine until the day at Disney. We decided to do just one park, one day (Magic Kingdom) and I'm really glad for that. I've never sweated so much when not working out!:confused: It was fun for the kids though. Lydia got to meet the princessess! That was a highlight;). The other days we just drove to the beaches (Clearwater and Daytona) or else hung out at the house we rented (they had a POOL!!). Here's a pic of Lydia with Cinderella.

My other sister was down there too with her boyfriend and his daughter (my sister just got divorced this year...). The blonde little girl with Tigger is her daughter/my niece and the dark haired little boy is my other sister's son/my nepew. My niece Gabby was also with...she's sixteen and was missing her boyfriend so she was getting irritable the last few days we were there:rolleyes:.

I think today I'm going to do LBB (standing only premix minus the cool down) and HC Volume 3 minus the warm up. I need some resistance training badly! My legs and butt feel all smooshy!:eek:

Plan to do TTM at a lower step height than Cathe. Don't own that many risers.

Loved it, loved it :D. My right knee was feeling very achy, so I opted out of the last section Plyo Tabata. No more high impact until later on next week -- I need a break.

What I forgot to mention, was that I'm very happy Cathe found a way to make hiit and Tabata fun. No dread with these workouts. The firewalker Tabata gave me an out-of-body experience :eek:. My HR was jumping out of my throat :eek:.

You know, I was thinking about that new 10pk set. I'm going to have to pay a big duty fee like I did with STS :mad:. I might opt out of DVD's and get downloads this time around.

Your vaca sounded awesome! I loved your pics too -- everyone looked super cute.
I know what you mean about some of the adults on your vacation. Every time I go on vacation with certain family member's, there is always tension and a need to rush and do things a certain way. I get angry when people are picky with where/what they want to eat. I'm very laxed when it comes to food, but some people are so hard bent on finding a certain restaurant or specific food. Can't we all just relax and get along? ;) I'm glad you and your family had a good time despite the "adults".


I gotta jet! Now that I burned 500cal, I'm going to eat a nice flame broiled burger on the grill with a martini as my beverage ;). Ahhh, lovin' me Summertime :cool:.

How is duty determined? STS, I had to pay extra for shipping on it for everything. Downloads, you will have them fast, but do they include premixes? You have time to decide plus consider meeting up in London too.
Good you are taking a break with high impact.
Seriously, I need to work out.
Cathe just posted on FB about her newsletter tomorrow on the workouts. She almost has to start fliming before October when things pick up at the club.

Just did TTM. I struggled with parts of it, the heat played into it plus the fear factor. Second time, I'll be more confident. Start M3 on Mon. Won't push it.

Quick post and question, does anyone have Leslie Sansone DVD's? I was thinking of purchasing a few to just incorporate some walking miles into my cardio routine. Any suggestions? I know you are on VF Colleen, does she have a big following there? Which one do people like the most? She has sooo many DVD's and just like Cathe's library, it can get kinda intimidating. Pls & thx!

Duty fee's are crazy high here :confused:. I don't know how they determine them, perhaps by weight of the package. I did not have to pay duty for the new workouts, but STS was a HEFTY FEE. Caught me off guard.

Just completed my first M3 disc back & chest. Yup, I loved it. I knew I would like heavy weights/low reps. What I found to catch me off guard, is that I was lifting WAY heavier then I did for M2 @ 80% (I struggle my last M2 disc). The way it's sequenced (chest, back, chest, back, alternating) ensures you are not completely fatiguing the one muscle group, so you can lift that 80% each and every set. The rest times were not too long IMO. By the time I prepared my weights for the next set, the break was up. I actually had to up my weight lbs, to make sure I was struggling with my final rep. Only doing 8 reps, you can go pretty heavy, and it feels so darn good!

Did you guys see the details on the new workouts? I'm on the fence about pre-ordering to be honest. The one thing that is enticing me, is the option for shorter strength workouts.

Oh ho ho ho....I'm totally preordering these new ones!:eek: The only one I'm not interested in is the spin/cycle dvd since I don't have a bike. I really hope she does the same thing she did with LIS and offer a preorder package without that one for those of us that don't own that piece of equipment. I think I may have to do the rotation she puts together for these as well so I can figure out the best way to use them together. I'll probably tweak it a bit but it will be cool to see how she puts those together. I'm really really excited for these new ones! Shorter duration, less equipment needed, Hiit and tabata, low impact options...definitely right up my alley!:D

I ended up taking a rest day today since my dual workouts yesterday have me pretty sore today. I was going to do Jillian's BFBM but since Monday is normally my rest day I decided I would just stick to my normal routine. Plus did I mention DOMS?!:eek: I'm such a masochist...I was struggling going upstairs at work a little and was smiling like an idiot because of it:p. I finally have my hands on CF and TTM too! I think I may do CF first.

Natty- Leslie Sansone is a HUGE favorite on VF. I have a few of her dvds in my collection as sort of a "just in case I can't do anything else" kind of day;). I don't do them too often though. I like her and suprisingly I can work up a little sweat but on my easy going days I'm more apt to grab one of my Ellen Barrett dvds. I know how you love to walk though so I think you would like her stuff. I'll post on VF asking for suggestions for ya:).

Jen- did you start Meso 3 today, too?

How long is Sarah going to be gone? I think I read she is on vacation, right? I sort of missed quite a few posts and am a little behind. :eek:

Colleen. Yes, starting M3 today, another one Tuesday then finish up on Friday. Looked up, the presale for these were last year so happy about that. Need to spin again.

Thank you SO MUCH for taking the time to start a thread for me at VF!!!! The suggestions were very helpful. I'm going to purchase one of the newer ones that was mentioned from Collage Video. I was looking at video clips, and she is a fit pear shape! Very inspiring if I do say so myself ;)


I don't think I'm going to jump on the pre-sale bandwagon for Cathe's newest. I would much rather buy new equipment than get another slew of workouts TBH. Do you think I could purchase only a few instead of the whole bundle? The strength training ones interest me the most. I don't really need another 45min of Tabata...or low impact hiit...or kickboxing.

Natty- Don't know abt splitting up a presale. Equipment is good. I didn't buy workouts when I updated stuff.

Tuesday. No decision on squat rack or plyo legs. Both not easy.
