Top of the morn'in:) :)

How are ya? I looked and saw that I was the last person who posted yesterday and there really is no need to read what I wrote...so here I am:) :)

Todays workout is going to be what I have done the past few days and what I have intended to do! Still haven't got UB done but there is still time! If I did UB today, LB tomorrow, no weights on Fri, then I can do a full body workout on Sat:) I just usually have a few more rest days in between but apparently I decided to take them at the beginning of the week!
I use to do this every summer.Just run. By the time i would get home I wouldn't want to do anything else. Today my plan is to actually get everything ready for when I get home. HAve my step out, weights ready and dvd selected.

Speaking of dvds, I previewed the ones last night from ebay and I really can't tell the diff. I still don't think that they are originals but if they are copied, he did a good job of it. I probably won't buy anymore though. I left him positive feedback, not knowing what I was going to get, but I still have a 100% rating:)

I hope everyone as a good day. If I get around to it later I will post some pics of my dress. Or prehaps I will just wait for real pics Sat night.

Lori- I never look like the models I see in the ads either...it is because we don't have all of those "touch ups and camera tricks":7
Which new DVDs...I can't take the suspense...
Good idea to set up everything so as soon as you get home jump right into the next workout.

Cheryl- Upper body MM and GS legs...good idea!

Amelia- I sympathize...I have two kids also...don't throw any of your expensive DB at them. Use the cheap ones...just kidding;-)
When I started BM2 I did it without a step...just to learn most of the steps and I had to take frequent breaks. Don't give up. Just think of how good it will feel when you get into the second section.

Belinda- How are you feeling...make sure that you eat.

I forgot to tell ya.

Today I did High Step Training and YES it is an advance workout. I got winded a few times and had to stop. Does anyone know which two DB (one light , one heavy)Cathe is using in HST?


I plan to eat clean today...last night I fell off the wagon and ate 4 oatmeal cookies.:(
 
Hey Girls:)

I'm suppose to do LB today and a 40 min walk.Im not sure what I'll END up doing,Ive been completely exhausted since monday! I had alot of trouble staying awake during class last night,luckly the instructor didn't noticed:eek: He was to busy talking(like he always is,Blah,Blah,Blah;-))Hes one of those"story telling" teachers!

I also had a test last night-made a 95,was hoping for an hundred:( ,I made three simple mistakes becasue I was so cocky and didn't go over the test before turning it in,LOL

Lori-Don'tcha hate it when a workout keeps getting put off! Sometimes you don't have a choice,or if your like me,just don't feel like doing it}( .Im inhaling coffee so maybe it will give me that kick I need! Cant wait to see some pics of the dress!

Robin-glad to report that there was no DB throwing yesterday,although my two year old kept walking by as slow as he could and watching me,LOL. He's a mommies boy.My dd is more independent.She could care less if I workout or not,as long as I put on a movie she likes(shes five). And falling off the wagon has became a reaccuring event for me :7,but im proud to admit that I've been good the last five days.Now last week,thats a different story;)

Im back:) Oh..Im having a good day! Getting a lot of things done that I have been putting off and not just workouts. I put the clothes away thats as been sitting the basket for 2 days, finally finished the housework I started on Mon and YES! I did my UB workout:) My next goal (and I think its suppose to rain this afternoon so it will be easy to do ) is my Aunt sent me a pile of babies clothes that needs to be washed.
I also weighed 128.7 today:)
I did my workout. I did BC UB (to warm up) then PH and MIS UB. It was a long workout but I wanted to make sure my new dvds were alright and they weren'tx( BC is skipping. I took it out and cleaned it and it didn't seem as bad. I will check it out again this afternoon and if its still crappy I will contact Ezaggle.
Oh and I also did a 40 mins run. Thats all I could do..to warm out:eek: And I did the weights while DS was napping, before my run.

Robin, I was going to start replacing all of my workouts with dvds. So I won BC/ME and PH/MIS/BM on ebay. There was alot of talk about Ezaggle bootlegging copies but Im not sure. I really don't think i would have won a brand new dvd, that retails for $46 for $5.50.

Amelia, I have the worst attention spand ever and I would have been sound asleep last night;) 95 is great, don't be to hard on yourself but its always great to aim higher.

Gotta get a shower and feed my little boy! And myself:)

Hey Ladies!!

I have nothing much going on with me. Except being lazy!! x( No w/o yesterday and today so far. I was suppose to go back to another kickboxing class yesterday. I decided not to join back to the gym. I can not justify spending $55 per month and I have all these great dvds at home and equipment, not to mention that I just purchased some new dvds (I finally pre-ordered the new Cathe dvds and I ordered Cardio Hits and Circuit Max and Cardio Kicks) and I plan to get P90X with in the next two months to start in November.;-) So I decided to just drop in once in a while. I felt very justified in the decision b/c I was able to pretty much keep up in the class (some modifications) I think I was in better shape than when I left the gym a year ago and I have to attribute that to working out with Cathe and others at home. I have not been consistent with that so imagine how good I will be when I become consistent!!! }(

Lori- Good job on the w/o!!! Go ahead and pose for the camera and prance in that new dress. Don't ya just love new stuff!!!

Robin- You are hilarious!!! Use the cheap DB to throw at the kids!!! I have 20# DB, I want to get 25#. I don't think I will be trying the 30# like CAthe is using in the new dvds anytime soon. Plus I still have lots to lose so I do not want to bulk up.

Amelia- I totally understand about not being consistent with the w/o. And I enjoy w/o but some days I just don't feel like doing it dammit!! Don't beat yourself up, we all have each other here for encouragement and support. We WILL accomplish our goals!!

Cheryl- Hey Missy!! What do you have up for today?

Belinda- Missing you girl and keeping you and your Mom in prayer.
I went to see the cousin who I mentioned earlier in the month has cancer. I had to do a power of atty for her granting her daughter the power to handle her banking and personal affairs. It is so sad to see what cancer can do to people. But have faith b/c it is all in God's hands!!!

Lori-Sounds like your having a good day:)!!You only paid 5.50:eek: for your workout,I ended up paying 14.00 for PH/MIS/BM! Somebody was bidding agianst mex(. I also purchase that DVD from Ezaggle,Mine has a slight skip to it too.Its kinda like the volumn but not the picture...Is that what yours does? I won't purchase from him agian.The shipping is whats CRAZY,Iam sure they are bootlegged!
And I also have a short attention span,thats why he calls me on alotx( and catches me daydreaming,lol!

Well,I got done with LB,and boy is my legs ALREADY soar. Couldn't hardly walk afterwards, feels good}(! I ended up doing PH/LB and Lowerbody add on on the body fusion dvd! I like using the band instead of the barbell sometimes!:+ :+bbl
 
Hey Kim-Glad to see you:). I agree with your decision about not going to the gym,why do that when you have Cathe to workout too;-):D. Although just leaving the madness of my house does sound tempting every now and then,LOL. Did you workout today? I finally did lb and Im wobbly already. Thought about going for a walk this evening,don't know yet! How is your WW going? Still on the Plateou? Sorry to hear about your cousin,it is very sad to see what cancer does to people and very hard to see what it does to someone you love. And your right,its all in Gods hands!

as you can tell,i've had my fair share of coffee this morning;-)

Lori, nice line up planned. I like it. I'm with you on the eBay decision. The ones I have are very, very good copies if they are copies and I won't be buying anymore - so I left positive feedback. I'm still glad I didn't pay much to flesh out my collection, but it'll be pre-order from now on!!

Amlelia, hurray on LB emphasis! You go, girl!

Today I did IMAX3. Wowza! Realized I've been neglecting interval cardio for many, many weeks in favor of weights... so all my cardio has been steady state. This was a discovery.

Also stepped on the scale. I've been eating crystal clean and my jeans are showing a nice improvement, but the scale weight still shocked me. 132.0!!! x( x( x(

The nice Cathe muscles have put me in a spot where my eye and the fit of my clothes is deceiving me by 3-4 pounds. The good news is that I signed up for Leanness Lifestyle and by those calculations I am realizing once again that at my current muscle mass I should absolutely not go below 120 at the bottom end.

123-124 might even be okay although not "primo". But I definitely have to stay with it here.

So that's my revelation for today.

Hey Amelia, Yes I as still plateauing. I looked back in my food journal. I am thinking it may be b/c I have gotten laxed on eating foods that are not "whole" as snacks. For example yesterday I ate a snack pack of Goldfish for a snack. I should stick to fruits and veggies. I also have not been getting my water as I should. I am going to changes those things and see what results I get. I realized it last night so I have a ways to go to measure the progress. I still have the bad habit of weighing my self just about every morning and it flucutates about a pound up or down. Drives me crazy! :+ But, like I said I have to be honest with myself and improve those things in my eating. Also, since it has been humid, I was not doing my walk at work (that was about 2.5 miles everyday). It is cooler in the mornings so I started that back today also. I will let you know the progress! p.s. I also drink at least one 20oz diet Pepsi a day. I am not quite ready to give that habit up; but i heard this can help also. I am addicted!!!x( }( x(
 
Kim, glad to see you decided to save your money! LOL I have never joined a gym and I have never been tempted to either. I started working out with Cathe when I couldn't afford a gym membership and I bought everything in bits and pieces. Now I have enough stuff and enough dvds to get a good workout! Ive been meaning to ask you, do you have any kids? Or a DH? I never hear you mention them so I just assume you are single.

Amelia, I didn't think the shipping was to bad b/c I live in Canada. But I did notice that there were other people selling dvds and the shipping was cheaper. Makes ya wonder! My dvd as a full fledge skip. Im gonna check it out again later when DS goes to bed and I have some free time.

Cheryl, I think we all have a # we would like to reach, but it may not be the right # for us. I don't think I would be able to maintain anything lower the 125. But I know I can maintain 130 without watching my diet and just exercising, which is o.k with me at times.

I really don't know what to do about bf'ing. I fed DS when he woke at 7, gave him cereal at 8 and then at 8:30 he was screaming his head off. So I mixed some milk, to see if thats was the prob was, and sure enough he drank 6 oz. Makes me wonder if he is getting much from me. My mom wants me to keep it up but it almost seems like its "never enough" for her. I made it almost 7 monthes and I think thats pretty good. Instead she makes it sound as if I have only been nursing him for 3 days! UGH!x( x( I probably shouldn't have told her.
Anyway, I thought about giving it up but I wasn't sure how long it would take my milk to dry up and the last thing I want this weekend is to be wearing a dress with no bra, full boobs and milk leaking! Can you imagine??? And then there is another part of me that doesn't want to give it up, my heart kind of sinks...so maybe I think I am ready but Im not. What to do..what to do???

Lori, No I do not have a DH or kids. I am single (happy about it sometimes :D and sad at others :-( ) I had a bad break up of a long term relationship back in February (and I was pregnant but it was ectopic) so they both happened about the same time. I was excited about the prospect of motherhood, but I think God knows better (I am speaking w/regards to the ex-BF being the father of the baby- all babies are blessings). So I am just really dating and having fun now!!}(
 
Lori-I stopped telling my DM things when I got married,otherwise she is just so.....well you know;-)! I still let things slip sometimes! p.s I wouldn't mind having bigger boobs,but full boobs:eek:

Kim-Im sorry your still platueaingx( I know its frustrating! Maybe it will break for you soon.Have you measured lately,maybe your loosing inches! I also drink my diet pepsi once a day too,gotta have it with supper(caffine free).I really need to start eating whole foods too! I made some of that veggie soup you introduced a while back and i've been eating it,but not everyday:+ . Are you following any rotation? I've kinda "wondered" from the intermediate one}( ,I add my own stuff in, but still the same concept. Good Luck,well make it!

Cheryl-I can't wait until I can do a circuit,I think there my favorite workouts...well one of them! Great job with Imax3 today! Im sure you will reach your goal soon,don't let the scale frustrate ya!

Amelia, tomorrow when I weigh in is my day to measure my inches. I just started to measure last month so tomorrow will be my first results. I do not eat the veggie soup everyday. Only when I know I have gone overboard or had a high calorie meal and my next meal or day needs to be low calorie but filling. I just love that soup!!:9 I make a big pot and freeze it.

I am still following the August 2004 rotation and plan to do it again in August unless Cathes August 2007 rotation is just too good to pass up. I really like the August 2004 rotation. I have just missed some days so I want to go back and do it again for good measure. I am sure it has helped me with inches- by the way my clothes fit. I am hoping that starting the walking again and sticking with whole food snacks will help but the plateau.
