Hi everyone. Well, I'm still sick, but that's all I'll say about that for now--don't want to go on and on about it (even though the illness seems to go on and on).
Isaac has school off today because of elections. Brian stayed home a little late this morning so I could go vote without the kids, which was nice. Of course, some of our votes probably canceled each other out since we belong to different parties.
Actually he registered as independent, so at least he's not really a member of the other party. I won't mention who is what, though, so we don't get into politics on here!
TTOM should start any day now. Ugh. but then when it's over I'm starting a new kind of Pill that skips periods--I'll only have one every 3 months. I just hope I don't get migraines with the switch.
Ok, from the controversy of politics to the TMI of my gynecological issues. Where do I go from here?
Lori, I love the new workouts! I would encourage you to get them if you're thinking about it. I like them so much that even though I have so many other new workouts right now that I need to try, I want to do Cathe's 4DS a little more. After I finish breaking in the new workouts I'll probably go back to the 4DS and do a rotation with that. I still haven't tried Bootcamp because of my iffy ankle, plus I'm not a big fan of bootcamp type workouts. Still, lots of people love it and I might like it better than I expect.
Amelia, I have had dizziness after using a treadmill, too. I don't know if it's unusual. It might be because it's just kind of weird to be moving and yet not getting anywhere--if that makes sense. I haven't been on a treadmill in a while, though. Still thinking about getting a stationary bike some time, though (can't get a treadmill because it won't fit in our low-ceiling basement). I tend to get dizzy more often than other people, so I don't know if I'm a good measure of normalcy.
Belinda, have fun stepping! I've got weight work today and I wish it were cardio--I'm in a cardio mood lately.
Welcome, Stacey. I'm a SAHM, too. I've got 2 little boys, Isaac, who's 5 and Ewan, who's 2. I've also reached pre-baby weight, but I was already trying to lose weight before I had kids.
So I have another 15 I'd like to lose. I have lost 25 lbs doing WW but I've really hit a plateau lately. OH, and my kids and I have also been dealing with colds and it's slowed my workouts down this past week as well, so we're living parallel lives with that.
Carrie, I look forward to seeing those great before and after pictures in a few months! Maybe then I'll go ahead and fork over the cash to try P90X, too.
Hello to Cheryl & Cathy and anyone else who stops by!
