Good Morning:)

I feel better now that I have had a full nights sleep:) How is everyone else?

I have baby group soon and Im planning a run for the afternoon. I won't get out much this week so I will squeeze my runs in wherever I can.

Im uncertain about ordering the new workouts. Anyone here got any advice? DH told me to go ahead and order them cause he thought it was something that i would use. Well, he knew it was something that I would use but I still haven't ordered them. I think when I do I will be really excited about them!

Lori:)

Good Morning Lori...your post bet mine by four minutes, lol. I will copy and paste mine!

Hallo everybody

Its early,I couldn't sleep! I finally got my thirty minute powerwalk/run in yesterday at the schools gym(although there was a very pesky guy there that was getting on my nerves )I probably would have gone longer,if class would of let out a little bit earlier!

I was wondering, does everybody her that uses a Tread mill get dizzy afterwords? I get VERY dizzy after Iam done and its kinda scary...I think my equalibrium is all screwed up,lol! Is that normal?

Lori-So,your DH gave you the go ahead to order the new workouts, and your debating on ordering them? Have ya gone mad,LOL? I can't speak from my own experience with them, but from what I have been reading on this forum...there a really GOOD workout! Besides, you workout everyday and would probably use them everyday, right? Oh man,I wish I could order them,I think my DH would strangle me though, lol.two weeks ago I ordered BBC then just last week I ordereded some protein powder...which should be coming today(yah)

Stacey-Welcome and congrats on your new little guy,and the weight loss. This is a great check-in and all the ladies are very kind, helpful and supportive! I use to do the Weigth Watcher program, but it just quite working for me,so for the past three weeks I have been counting cals and changing up my workouts a bit. WW'ers is a great program though,I lost about 32pds on it!

Hey to the rest of the gang! bbl

Hi ladies,

My workout for today is a 60 min. all step workout of choice! I didn't get my run in yesterday!! I have a lot of catching up to do this week!!

Lori you know you want to order them}( Hope you get your workout in!

Amelia are you drinking enough water??? Once in awhile I get dizzy on the TM!! Great workout yesterday!

Stacey welcome and congrats on your weight loss!!

Belinda

Hey girls, just a quick pop in before I start my workout! I decided on thirty mins of Imax2 and then BBC arms and abbs!

Belinda-I drink anywhere from 80-140oz of water a day...its really all I drink except for my coffee in the morning, milk with lunch and a sip or two of diet, caffiene free pepsi! When I got dizzy I had to hold on to the side of the wall to keep from falling:eek:??? Have fun with your 60min step workout,WOW...you go girl;-)

Hi everyone. Well, I'm still sick, but that's all I'll say about that for now--don't want to go on and on about it (even though the illness seems to go on and on).

Isaac has school off today because of elections. Brian stayed home a little late this morning so I could go vote without the kids, which was nice. Of course, some of our votes probably canceled each other out since we belong to different parties. :p Actually he registered as independent, so at least he's not really a member of the other party. I won't mention who is what, though, so we don't get into politics on here!

TTOM should start any day now. Ugh. but then when it's over I'm starting a new kind of Pill that skips periods--I'll only have one every 3 months. I just hope I don't get migraines with the switch.

Ok, from the controversy of politics to the TMI of my gynecological issues. Where do I go from here?

Lori, I love the new workouts! I would encourage you to get them if you're thinking about it. I like them so much that even though I have so many other new workouts right now that I need to try, I want to do Cathe's 4DS a little more. After I finish breaking in the new workouts I'll probably go back to the 4DS and do a rotation with that. I still haven't tried Bootcamp because of my iffy ankle, plus I'm not a big fan of bootcamp type workouts. Still, lots of people love it and I might like it better than I expect.

Amelia, I have had dizziness after using a treadmill, too. I don't know if it's unusual. It might be because it's just kind of weird to be moving and yet not getting anywhere--if that makes sense. I haven't been on a treadmill in a while, though. Still thinking about getting a stationary bike some time, though (can't get a treadmill because it won't fit in our low-ceiling basement). I tend to get dizzy more often than other people, so I don't know if I'm a good measure of normalcy.

Belinda, have fun stepping! I've got weight work today and I wish it were cardio--I'm in a cardio mood lately.

Welcome, Stacey. I'm a SAHM, too. I've got 2 little boys, Isaac, who's 5 and Ewan, who's 2. I've also reached pre-baby weight, but I was already trying to lose weight before I had kids. :( So I have another 15 I'd like to lose. I have lost 25 lbs doing WW but I've really hit a plateau lately. OH, and my kids and I have also been dealing with colds and it's slowed my workouts down this past week as well, so we're living parallel lives with that. ;)

Carrie, I look forward to seeing those great before and after pictures in a few months! Maybe then I'll go ahead and fork over the cash to try P90X, too.

Hello to Cheryl & Cathy and anyone else who stops by!

Hi Ladies!

Ok, so it's Tuesday. 4 more days. I can do this. ( trying to psych myself up). More caffeine.

So the scale was down today, this was great. Maybe this p90x thing is working, or my clean diet? Who knows, but I weighed and it said 118.8, that is the lowest in a long time. I have been eating alot too. Lots of protein and added a protein shake. Hmmm...

Today is yogaX. I may try and fit a run in this AM. I have heard yogaX is really difficult and long. Ugh.

Lori--ahh, sleep. Isn't it amazing how great you feel when you get a good night? Amazing. No, I don't really have 'weight' to lose, it's just the toning part, I want to look defined, and the pics were not what I want to look like in a swimsuit. I am 5'3" 1/2 (sometimes a girl needs a 1/2). You know, I am uncertain about telling you to get the new series. To be honest, I am a little disappointed. The cardios are fun, but really short. The weight workouts, though, I like. Now, I haven't done any premixes of the cardio yet, but I don't like the idea of having to do a cardio twice just to get 60 mins. I don't know...maybe those new Amy Bento?

Belinda--have a good workout! Are you in Germany permanently? Or for just a short time?

Amelia--good job on getting your w/o in. Ugh. Annoying people. Do you wear headphones? When I walked on a tm, I would get 'TM legs'. It is dizzying.

Stacey--Welcome! It sounds like we are twins! I have a son, Ryan , too.He was born on March 24th of this year. Congrats on your baby and your weight loss.

Lainie--are you feeling better?

Cheryl--what is on tap today?

Carrie

Lori, you're asking me for advice about the 4DS???? I'd order them, girl! I love them. An all time staple for me and usable in so many ways. I have at least something out of that set going pretty much every day (and that was even before the Nov. rotation).
I would say go for it!

Lainie, ugh on still being sick. Maybe getting TTOM over with will help? I hope so.

Stacey, welcome. 118????? YOU LUCKY GIRL (actually, I do know luck had little to do with it. Congratulations!) Good job on P90X so far. Sounds like it's working for you.

Belinda, enjoy your workout! I'm with you all the way on the 4DS!

Amelia, good job - good going - keep it up, girl!

Carrie, the yoga sounds nice. I hope you enjoy.

Today I ran an hour with partner. Felt really good. I think the hard run Saturday and the nice LB workout from 4DS strengthened my legs.
After that I added 15 min of the new KB. That was all I was good for. Off to work.

Have a great morning, everyone!

Cheryl

Hey girls

Im done with my workout, now I have to get going on my test the teacher handed out yesterday(they are very time-consuming test,so she lets us bring them home, thankgoodness)

Ya know,I loved bbc at first, but now im not so sure....I may just sell it and then put some money with the sell and buy the slow and heavy series}( I KNOW i will love them! I like doing cathy for cardio and for weights,I guess im just spoiled,LOL!

Cheryl-Great job on your run:),you busy lady you;-)

Carrie-"TM legs" mmmm maybe thats what I get! Is it the feeling ya get when you stand up real fast? Congrats on the scale drop:) Good job!!!

Stacey-I forgot to mention this am that I too am a SAHM,and a part-time college student! I have a little girl named Elizabeth, whos 5(just started kindergarten:-() and a two year old little boy,Dalton(whos a mommie boy all the way;-))

well, gotta get going on that test, and the house chores...bbl:)

Good morning all!

I would love to check in earlier, but my morning routine is chaotic to say the least! Needless to say I breathe a big sigh of relief when I drop my son and daughter off to school and put Ryan down for his morning nap. Phew! I feel like I’m turning the corner with my headcold and I bet I can get a workout in tomorrow. My kids are just about over their colds too I think.

Thanks all for the warm welcome and I’m excited to join the new group. It turns out another mom from my old postpartum check in may also join us, her name is Kristine, so don’t be surprised if you see her name pop up!

Lori, glad you got some good rest as I’m sure you need it adjusting to the new work routine. I wish I could give some advice on the new workouts. Since I'm a bit newer to Cathe, I’m really getting “caught up” and I’m not sure I feel ready for the heavy weight workouts yet. I also want to see what she comes out with next.

Amelia, don’t you hate those annoying people at gyms? I haven’t worked out at a gym in a long time and am happy to be able to do my workouts at home! LOL! Never gotten dizzy on a treadmill, but then I mostly use an elliptical when I use a cardio machine (I’ve got one here at home which is fantastic).

Belinda, sounds like you’ll be getting a good workout in today. I’d like to do an all-step workout, but may have to wait until tomorrow when I have some more energy!

Lainie, you and I do seem to be living parallel lives! Your boys sound very cute, love their names, and I’m sorry you have also been under the weather. But, on the positive side, maybe we can get over these colds and be completely healthy for the holidays, right?

Carrie, yay! Another Ryan:) Congratulations on your little guy and great job with the PX90! My twin sister did the 6 week rotation of that and saw great results. She just had her first baby in June and the program really helped to jump start her weight loss.

Cheryl, hello! Actually, that’s Carrie that is at 118, I’m at 138;) I haven’t been 118 in years, and my ideal range is really between 135-140 for my frame. I did however lose 42 pounds after the birth of my 3rd baby 10months ago so now I’m trying to really just maintain my weight and tone up.

Hope you all have a great day, and I’ll try to check back in later!

And YES,I get annoyed really easy when somebody tries to talk to me at the at school gym(especially a guy*rolls eyes*)while Im huffing and puffing along,Do they NOT see me working outx( .And Yep,im a pretty busy gal-Im not going for a degree just yet, just a certification in medical billing and codeing! I may go for a degree in clinical labratory when I get done though....maybe;-)

BTW,Stacey-I LOVE the name Emma-if Dalton had been a girl, both of us would have babies named Emma:)
