Good Morning:)

My computer is acting very weird the past few days. I wrote something last night and its not even here! UGH! Da*n wireless internet! I personnally think its junk but oh well.

Im just doing cardio today. We are going to my parents house for the night. Friends of ours are home and DH wants to go spend some time with them. We are going out today and will be back tomorrow afternoon sometime. So I have to get my cardio in and packing. The packing shouldn't be to bad though cause its just for one night, but with a baby you will never know how much clothes you will need:)
I have finally made up my mind to finish bf'ing. I only nursed him 2x yesterday and I have done this for a couple of days now. Feedings been all over the place and I can already see the decrease in milk. I don't think it will take long for me to dry up b/c I don't have an overabundance of milk as it is. So it will be a good week or two before I weigh again. Good time to get some clean eating in cause I may be amazed when I step on the scale:+

Nancy, so sorry to hear about you dog! Im not looking forward to that day in our house! We have 2 dogs and although they don't have full run of the house anymore, we are sure going to miss them when they are gone. There is also a sense of security with dogs. You know no one will be stepping on your property without them hearing it.

Cheryl, so you did read it wrong? LOL To funny! Thought I was losing it there for a sec!

Kim, I forgot to say Thanks yesterday. Girls can be very confusing at times and the last thing I want for her right now (or ever) is to be obsessed about her weight. I remember going through my teenage yrs eating very little.

Amelia, I hope you feel better soon. And you better lay off the workouts until you figure out whats wrong:eek: Don't want to make it worse!!

Kali, how are you feeling today? Did you have an o.k night last night? Prehaps you will get a workout in today.

Robin, whats on the agenda today? Whatever it is, you probably already have it done!

Good Morning!!

I just completed Cardio Kicks. I received CK/CM and Cardio Hits in the mail yesterday. I could not wait to try one out. CK was okay. I had to stop a little over 30 min through b/c my hamstrings were VERY thight. So I stretched and previewed about 8 minutes of it, then I joined back in at the beginning of the arem drills. I knew I needed to stretch on Sunday and I never got around to it. That will teach me!!! x( x( I received another w/o from Netflix yesterday. I will try to get to that tonight after work. Depending on what the podiatrist does to my foot today. }( I am have been experieincing foot pain in my instep. I think it is b/c my arches are extremely high so I need support when I wear flatter shoes or gym shoes. I am only "comfortable" in higher heels as they give my arches support. That sounds like some curse a man thought of!! }(

Lori- Have a safe trip and have fun. I figured you would stop the bf'ing soon. I can only imagine how hard it is b/c of the bonding, but it also has to be somewhat of a relief.

Nancy- I am so sorry to hear about your dog. Your family made the compassionate decision.

Amelia- I hope you are feeling better. Take it easy!! ;-)

Robin- I am sure your w/o is done by now. We are both 5 am cadio junkies!! LOL!! My "habit" has been fading since the weather has gotten warmer. Today it is suppose to be 95+ degrees here and for the rest of the week!! :eek:

How is everyone?

No w/o today just a rest day for me. I was looking thru the Cathe blog and wondering how I’m going to fit these workouts into my rotation. The Bootcamp and Kickbox is on one DVD, so there may be a premix with all cardio. I hope so because I’m trying to build up my cardio endurance.

Lori- babies take a lot of our time, but he won’t be a baby for long. Soon he will be going to kindergarten.

Kim- is Cardio Kicks as good as KPC? Cathe looks so young on that video. I workout 5 a.m. because I can not sleep late at all. As soon as the sun comes up my eyes open. My doggie doesn’t help any.

Amelia- I hope you back pain is not too serious. I think that you should see your MD first then go to your chiro. I know it is hard when you want to w/o but can’t.

Cheryl- which Cardio Coach do you have?

Kim- No I don’t have CC-PP, I’m just leaning about CC.

Kali- I’m sorry for your relapse but I’m glad that you are seeking help. It’s hard to fight this thing on your own. Take it one minute at a time and keep posting in this forum, we will give you encouragement

Good Morning Chickie poo's;-)

Today is going to be one of those Watching tv,laying around kind of days,lol. I woke up with my back hurting agian.The first thing I did was make an appoitment with my MIL's M.D(the one she highly reccommends(sp))so Im going to a new doc! The appoitment is for thursday evening,im also going to run the knee pain by him too,WTH! It's been reaccuring often too!

My old MD wasn't very interested in what I had to say,he would just prescribe something and was out the door before I had a chance to say "hold on,Im not done",LOL

~~Lori~~Have fun at your parents house tonight! Im sure before you realize your Bf'ing days will be over! I also feel very safe with my dog around,shes a good watch dog! I can't walk her because she wants to bark at everybody! My DH calls her a "bully"

~~Kim~~what workout did you order from netflix? The only workouts on blockbuster.com is billy blanks(not a kickboxer fan unfortunaltly) and some older W.O's like paula abdules(sp) get up and dance,i think is the name of it,LOL! There is some yoga ones i thought about renting! Wouldn't it be cool if Cathe offered her wo's for renting! Then we could do the workout before purchasing it!

~~Robin~~Have a nice and relaxing rest day! I'am also trying to enhance my cardio endurance,everytime I walk now I have been adding in some lite jogging! I do three laps around my neiborhood and each lap is twenty mins so towards the end of lap theres a certian spot that i start jogging! And it is helping too!

~~Cheryl~~Hows your day going? What workout is on tabs for today? Thank you for your post last night:)it was very heart warming!

Thanks guys for the concerns on my back pain,im just going to take it easy and STAY OUT of the kitchen.Hopefully its nothing serious! I wonder if walking for like thirty mins would hurt anything? anyhoot I'll check back in after class tonight,everybody have a great day!

Cardio only today - 60 min. run with partner. Wanted to do B&G also but no time. It'll have to wait for tomorrow.

Lori, looks like you're just doing cardio today also. Woo hoo!
I hope the overnight trip is a fun one. Hurray on the milestone of ending the bf'ing soon - a wonderful feeling, I'm sure, that your body is finally your own again. Your baby is darling, by the way. I loved the pic on your picturetrail from the wedding.

Robin, I don't have any Cardio Coaches but I hear rave reviews from my YaYa friends.

Kim, nice workout!! Hope you survive - sounds like you're sore -

Amelia, please be well and I hope the MD is a good one. Yes, stay away from the kitchen! Are you alternating heat and cold on the area? That may help until the MD appt. rolls around.

Hey Girlies,

We made it safe and sound:) I can't believe its almost 4 already...where as the day gone?

I intended to do just cardio today and first it was gonna be a run but I plan on running out here tomorrow and there are alot of hills out here plus pushing a stroller:eek: Anyway....I put in my BM2 dvd, went to the premixes and Bootcamp caught my eye.So thats what I did. I had no clue what I was in for b/c it doesn't show the chapters. As anyone else done this workout? I sweat buckets! It does the #1 circuit w/back/abs, #2 circuit w/chest/abs #3 circuit w/shoulders/abs
#4 circuit w/bic's/abs and then #5 is the first 3 segments all ran together and then tris/abs. Its 78 mins long...yowzaa:)

Amelia, rest that back my dear! Like I said yesterday, but it didn't post...you only get 1 back, that is until the doc gives you a new one and even that one isn't as good as your first:) Its nice to have a lazy day though and actually have a good reason!

Cheryl,thanks for the compliments on the babe. He as been whining a bit today and I don't know if he is looking for the boob or not.

Robin, enjoy your rest day!

Kim, your falling apart to? Another one with aches!? LOL Sounds like you had a pretty good workout today.

I have really mixed feelings about giving up nursing though. On the way out I was about to tell DH that I was having a bad day cause there were a couple of things bothering me. And this is one of them, but I knew as soon as I said it I would start to cry. It will be nice to have my body back and do what I wish with it. But its also nice knowing that he needs me for something! hahaha On the upper hand, I don't have to worry about spicey food anymore, or drinking enough water....etc...

Lori - Haven't tried the Boot Camp premix, but sweating buckets sounds like a very good sign. Good job!!

And good luck with the bf decision and transition. It must be really hard.

Lori-I have previewed the premix that you did,and I remember it being soooooo long!LOL I agree w/Cheryl,sweating buckets is a good sign! also,Talking to my DH always makes me feel better,especialy when Im having mixed emotions about something! I hope you feel better about your bf'ing soon!

Cheryl-Great job on your workout! so far I've only put heat on the pain,maybe should try the cold/hot and see it that helps!

Lori talk to DH even if you cry. BF'ing decisions are tough you should not have to make it on your own. Maybe he has an opinion or advice...maybe.

Amelia I sympathize with you knee pain. I think I did too much jogging yesterday and now my knee is swollen slightly. I guess I should stick to power walking. It sucks when your body does not act right. I can't even jog on my rebounder. My cat uses it to sleep on:-( . I should sell it on Ebay.
 
Hey Ladies,

Well I did not get that rented workout done. Amelia it is The Firm- Super Charge Sculping or something like that- 39 min. I will get to it tomorrow probably. I went to the podiatrist. She is such a sweet heart!!:) But she wanted to inject me with cortisone- I think that if she had come near me with a needle it would have been som Kick, Jump & Punch going on in her office (and I am not talking about a Cathe routine).}( LOL!!! I do not do needles well. x( :-( She said that b/c my instep is soooooooo high I need to watch the shoes I wear (even gym shooes) b/c apparently the nerve running from my ankle area through to my big toe is right on top of the bone at my instep so it is getting smooshed b/w the top of my shoe and the bone below- thus causing pain and numbness. x( She gave me so med to take to get rid of the inflamation (did not get that filled yet- first thing in the am).

Lori- I agree with what has been said here. Talk to DH so he can help you through this decision. You are doing good!

Amelia- I have had a trial membership at Blockbuster.com- they have losts of workouts. Did you look under sports? How was class tonight? I agree with Cheryl- try the hot compress alt. w/a cold compress.

Robin- I keep wanting to call you Jazzy (like short for Jasmine b/c of your screen name). Did you enjoy your rest day?

Nancy- How are you and family doing today. I hope you are all doing well.

Kali- I hope things are going good for you. If you do not get a chance to post know that you are in my thoughts!

Belinda- We miss you and hope you are doing well.
