Good Morning!:)

Is everyone else getting to sleep in? Not I! Thats cool though cause I kind of wanted to get up early. The wedding isn't until 3 but my friend called last night and wanted to know if I would be able to go to the Hotel and pick up the flowers and bring them to the bride. And of course pick up time is at 11...right in the middle of my workout, so now I have to make my workout earlier. I will be leaving shortly for a run.
My legs are sore from yesterdays legs..not to bad though.

Im thinking about straigtening my hair today for the wedding but I know its suppose to be pretty humid out therex( It will be o.k if it doesn't go to crazy and before we head to the reception I can fix it up and then we will be in the air conditioned hotel. I tried the dress on for a couple of friends last night and they thought it was really nice. I wanted something different instead of something else someone else would have on. I can be pretty certain that no one else will have this dress on. And I have a feeling one of my friends will be wanting a loan of the dress sometime this summer.

Kim, Im glad to hear you are feeling better. I didn't realize that you had lost 60 lbs! Thats crazy! You can't get to distraught...thats alot of progress and just think how much your body must be thanking you that you ditched that unnessacary weight!

Alright ladies...I am going to get DS some cereal and then get ready for my run:) Im not sure what else I will fit in b/c I wanted to do my hair before I picked the flowers up. May be a challenge!

Have a great time today! I'm sure you're going to look absolutley stunning in that dress! Straighting the hair is probably a good idea if it's really humid.

Been MIA for a bit but I'm here. Going to start a rotation Monday. Just not sure if I should be concentrating on weights/cardio or more cardio. I've gained back the 30 lbs. I lost originally but thank goodness because of Cathe and the weight work I don't look like I did when I weighed this before. Gonna have to do some research I guess to see what plan of action I want to take.

Just grateful there is a PLAN!! LOL!

Its nice to see you joining us again! I can't wait to catch up. I take it you have been working out even though you have gained some weight?

I just got back from my run and it was a good one. I did an hour and now I will move on to abs and thats it for today...well...until I start dancing tonight of course!

I am thinking of Beyonce's song "Get Me Bodied", in one part of it she sings about doing "the Naomi Campbell walk". That is what you should do today!!! Just don't throw your cell phone at anyone!!! Kali- Welcome back!! I was not here when you were posting before. My name is Kim. Are you also doing WW program? If so, are you doing flex or core? I have been thinkging of switching to Core.

I am suppose to do Leaner Legs today but I think I will do either Shape It Up! or Tone It Up! w/Debbie Siebers today. I just got both. They are both about 78 min long. I also want to do CTX kickboxing again (I really like that one!!) I will let you know either way. Funny story- last night b/f I went to bed, I felt a little achiness in the back of my legs (hamstrings). I had totally forgot I had just done Denise Austin's bootcamp about 4 hours before that. I will give it to Denise with that workout. She was no slouch, but, I do not think I will actually purchase it even though it is a nice lighter day w/o. Has anyone else tried it?

Cheryl, I have heard you mention that you like to do Debbie Siebers. Do you have Keep It Up! ? Is it worth trying to grab on ebay? I have all the other titles from the Slim Series and thought this would be a nice addition even though I think it is the last one from the original Slim in 6 series. I think I read it was not a beginner as the other SI6 w/outs.

KIm-I've also considered switching to the core program,it depends on my WI and Measurements on the seventh! The only thing I didn't like about the core program was that I didn't see any bread on the "list",did you?

Morning All…or should I say good afternoon. LOL

I had to go grocery shopping after my w/o and breakfast. Sleep late…what’s that. LOL

This morning I had a long w/o LM and Core Max2, and my new ball is heavier because it has sand in it. This made the core workout harder. The good new is that I finally got the pendulum in LM but I still can’t do the Jackknife (core max2).

Yesterday I fell off the clean-eating wagon; I did not even drink a lot of water. Today I laid out my plan to eat clean.

Kim- how are you doing today? Kim you have a good workout today. Let me know hoe Debbie Siebers w/o goes. I read your post yesterday and I understand. Hitting a plateau is tough. I have Denise Austin's bootcamp and beside their cute outfits I didn’t really like it. I'm glad that you did not give up.

Lori- enjoy the wedding and take pics.

Hi Kim! My name is Kim too! I picked Kali as a screen name and it kind of just "stuck". About a year or so ago I had a little GTG here and that's what everyone called me! I think you just started posting here when I "fell off the fitness wagon" as I like to think of it. I don't do WW's.

Hi Robin. Sounds like a great wo! I have a love/hate relationship w/ LM! More hate than love, but then feel the love after I get thru it! LOL! I'm going to do what worked for me originally. High protein, low carbs, no sugar, (well very little) LOL! lots of water and sticking to a dang rotation!!!!

Great to meet you Amelia! I LOVE powerwalking! Great job! Enjoy your rest day tomorrow.

So I'm thinking maybe 2 weeks of straight cardio ( I do all Cathe step w/o the step) and powerwalking/running. I was told by a PT to lose the step because of the genetic size of my thighs.
Then start a fat loss rotation.
My goal is to just slim down again. I'm still toned, (thank heavens) just more flabby in ALL THE DANG PLACES I DON'T WANT TO BE of course! LOL!

Any suggestions are gratefully welcome!

Kim -

Yes, I have Keep It Up. It is actually my favorite because it only requires a resistance band and I can do it from my PC in a hotel when I travel. It's 40 minutes - but I add on Slim in Six Pack (11 minutes) which is on the same DVD and then I have a full workout.

I also love Tone it Up. 60 minutes - not as challenging as Cathe, but a nice thorough workout. Shape it up, at 78 minutes, is too monotonous for me.... if I'm going to spend 80 minutes on a workout, I want to go all out and do it with Cathe, is my personal opinion. Enjoy!!

Hello Again!!

I finished Shape It Up!! It was a good workout. Slow dripping sweat!! I am starting a workout journal (suggestion from OD on how to measure my success). I jotted down the exercises where I could not do the weight Debbie was using, I did not have to modify. I did not use ankle weight simply b/c the only ankle weights that I have are I think five pounds (need to put them on the scale- that is how old the are) and Debbie used 2 pound. Trust and believe that I got good burn w/o the ankle weights. I loved her quad exercises. Who knew you can get deep muscle toning like that w/o heavy weights. The time passed pretty quickly. I tried to do CTX-KB. I managed to get through the WU and the next 5 or so minutes but Cathe's form was getting on my nerves. He form has so improved from CTX-KB to KJP. It usually does not bother me b/c I think she is fantastic anyway. I think I had just had enough and needed a break. I may get back to it later. We'll see...

Kali, what is "GTG"? We are glad to have you back!! The more the merrier (that is corny but sincere!).

Lori- We want pics of you in the dress and a blow by blow account of the wedding. music and dancing! Good w/o girl!!

Amelia- Powerwalk sounds good!! If I have time after all my errands today, I think I will try to go outside and get a nice walk in- leisurely probably not power. Enjoy!! Good luck on finding a dress for next week.

Hey girls,just a quick pop in! I found a dress....im not to impressed with it though! It doesn't really "do" anything for me. So Im taking it back tommorrow.x( Hopefully I will find something better! The problem today was my DH,DD and DS was with me so I couldn't really THINK,LOL! So tommorrow im going by myself;-)

Kim-Thanks for the info on BM2,Im going to try doing it on just the platform next time!
