Weight Watchers - 4th week of February

Sometimes the scale is a mystery....so I havent been tracking points very closely at all, havent been eating that great...for example last night had 3 huge pieces of a chicago sausage deep dish pizza...day before that had 2 huge servings of full fat macaroni and cheese for dinner plus bread and butter. I havent worked out since Tuesday.

Today I weighed in after I already had eaten breakfast, lunch and had a snack....I'm DOWN 1.2 lbs from my official weigh-in on Wednesday...only 3 days ago! What the heck?? I'm not complaining but sometimes I just have to sit back and scratch my head and wonder if it's worth trying to make sense of it all!!

Stacy: At times I have to scratch my head as well. I figure eating healthy pays off in many ways not just the scale, so I know it is the right way to do things.

No workout on the weekend. Yesterday I did do shoveling of wet slushy snow. I also ate 3/4 of a small cheese pizza.:eek: I still have 9 wp left until Monday night. I am going to behave and try not to use up all my wps.

Menu:

B: hard boiled egg, oats,blueberries,flax,agave syrup 6pts
L: grapes,4 egg whites,scallion,mushrooms.spinach,ketchup and arnold thin 1 slice of american cheese 6pts
S: apple and sunbutter and maybe a part of a grapefruit 5pts
D: chicken thigh, veggie (? not sure) brown rice or sweet potato ( 7 or 8 pts for dinner)
S: either yogurt and banana and granola or sugar free pudding and banana

my total will be around 27 or 30.
 
Alright, Ladies, I'm motivated by what I'm reading.

Jennifer, I bought dark Chocolate today. I'm a little scared. Dang, it's 7PPs a serving. I'll have to be carefule fitting it in. Its the 70% kind. its will probably be a good thing if I don't like it, that way I wont eat the whole bar.

Melissa, yeah back to my old kick-butt self was on the sofa in lala land by 1:45 -2:30 today. I had to literally drag myself off the recliner only to do the slow-crawl to the bedroom and drop back down for another hour. Did I do Athletic Step or did it do me? I cant tell. hahahaha. And, man your menu sounds great today. What an inspiration. And I too dread Low Max, I haven't done it in years. Good luck with that one.

Stacy, you got one of those over-indulgent scale surprised, huh? Yeah, I get those on thursday mornings after I've had burger and fries on Wed night. It makes no sense to me except maybe - since we work so hard so many days trying to stap on point, that our bodies think we're in starvation mode. Then we over-indulge a little and the body releases some weight for us. It really can be scary. But that the way it goes sometimes. congrats on that great surprise.

Elaine, you've got a great menu today also. Such variety. I love it. Did you make some kind of pizza for Lunch on that sandwich thin?

My menu:
S. Peanuts = 2
B. 3 eggs, collards, milk - 8
S. small brownie - 3
L. soup, crackers - 6
s. banana, brownie, chicken, apple sauce - 8
D. salad, chicken, - 6
S. ice cream - 4
38 - total

Alright, Yall. I've gabbed enough. i'm heading off to clean house.

I did so well during the day then....not so much. I had 8 pts after the burger...I used 2 on Sugar Free Jello Pudding, about 6 on pretzels....then had about 2 handfuls of potato chips then one chocolate covered caramel :(

I do feel a bit more in control and determined today despite the after dinner minor catastrophe. We're having dinner at my in-law's tomorrow night and I already know she's making home made vegetable beef soup, so at least it's not a comfort food with heavy gravies, etc. I'll skip the bread I know will be served with the soup, and if I do well the beginning of the day, I'll have a tiny portion of dessert....there's always dessert at the in-law's!
 
At 11 pts so far today after breakfast and lunch. I only had time for a very short workout today...did 25 min on the treadmill (5 min walking warmup, followed by 8 min jog/2 min walk x 2 rounds).

I caved and ordered another workout dvd set! I ordered Supreme 90...10 dvds for $19.95 says collagevideo! I officially have run out of room in my storage area!
