Weight Watchers - 3rd week of January

Wow I've missed a lot since I last checked in with this thread :).

I haven't been sharing my daily eats, but I'll start doing that too--maybe y'all could help me pinpoint any red flags that I've missed to see why the weight just won't budge (consistently, anyway), even though I've been staying within my points.

Thanks for all of your posts! They are so encouraging!
 
Yes, Jennifer, it does to help by posting food intakes. Come on and jump in, the water's great.

My food for today:
S: Yogurt
B: Eggs, bacon, greens, apple , banana
L: cereal, milk
S: chips, graham crackers
D: salad, spaghetti, carrots
S: Wwers treats

Total: 41. I earned 20aps today. I still have 8 points left. But, I'm full
 
Dipped into my WP's today...

B--almonds, banana
L--celery sticks, 1 Tbsp low fat ranch dressing
"S"--slice of pecan pie (15 pts yikes!)
D--3 slices of pepperoni pizza..24 pts

Total...44 pts....with 35 WP's left (my week is Wednesday to Wednesday) + 4 AP's left.

I actually dont plan on ever using my AP's if I can help it. I only average 2-3 AP's per workout.

Today was a planned splurge day and overall didnt do so bad.

I, too, have been enjoying everyone's posts. Everyone seems to be keeping a positive and forward-moving attitude instead of getting bogged down by our little pitfalls. Weekends are my nemesis as far as eating goes. I hope to get in a short workout this weekend, but I have a very busy weekend planned so eating within my DP's is as always the first priority. As I mentioned, I only get 2-3 AP's for my workouts so I wont stress out too much if I dont get a workout in.

I think I might have a planned splurge lunch or dinner tomorrow. I have been craving a spicy chicken sandwich from Wendy's. My week is Sunday to Sunday so I'll have plenty of WP's tomorrow. But, I want to see how many points it comes to before I decide. And only if I have room for fries...:p And DH has been bugging me to go out for pizza. Maybe I'll go with whatever one is less points so that I don't use a majority of my WP's so early in the week.

Here is my menu for today:

B: 1/2 c oatmeal, 4 egg whites, 1 c 1% milk
S: banana
L: serving of tuna casserole, carrot sticks
D: 5oz broiled pork chop, baked potato, steam broccolli & carrots, 1 c 1% milk
S: WW lemon cream yogurt, 1/2 c lite cool whip

Happy Saturday, Ladies. WI today - down 1.5 yippppeeeee, I think I'll try eating all my APs plus a few WP every day this week.

Today's workout was Athletic Step and MMA Kickbox - I earned 19 APs. My endurance with Cathe cardio has definitely improved.

I'll post my food later on.
 
Hi Ladies,

It's the weekend...oh no. I do so much better during the week since I plan my meals. Weekends tend to be less structured. I'm working out a weekend eating plan this morning. Once it's planned its much easier to stick to and will eliminate mindless eating.

I ate a few chocolate chips last night and dipped into my WP's, but am glad I tracked. This is where I've fallen short in the past. Saying I'm doing my best when I'm just sabotaging my efforts. I feel good about getting it tracked.:)

Gonnabea5-congrats on the weightloss. Awesome!!! Keep up the good work. What your doing is working for you, so keep it up! Glad to hear DH is recovering nicely. I saw that you prepared and took a cooler to the hospital....way to stay on top of the program.

Melissa - I go Sunday to Sunday too and DH and I will go out for dinner tonight so I'm also thinking....How can I work this?

I want to go to Bertucci's and get a roasted vegetable torta on whole wheat. Pure heaven....for 19PPs!!!!! I'd just eat half but wow, what an eye opener to plug in those numbers and see what these meals out cost.

But, I don't know where DH wants to go so I'll have to just wing it.

I haven't posted meals before but I can jump on that bandwagon :)

B - 1/3 c. oatmeal / 7g chia seeds / 20g raisins / 14g walnuts
L - 1 serving WW shrimp scampi / frozen veg
S - clementine
D - a splurge...1/2 tuscan roasted veg torta / roll / oil / red wine
S - two Godiva chocolates

That's a whopping 40 for the day..all my DP, the rest of my WP, and I have 2 AP remaining...Oh, that reminds me...I'm having a little chocolate tonight.

Nervous about weigh in but we shall see what we shall see. I've been really good today about staying hydrated.

Ok, how do you all figure out your AP's? I've been doing it by minutes and intensity level. When I do that for HITT 30/30....I plug in 8 minutes of high intensity, 8 min of moderate intensity (even though I'm saying the 30 second rest is moderate when I'm really walking in place it feels tough) and then I'm doing the remaining minutes as a low, ie. the warmup and cool down minutes. This gives me 1 total AP?? WTH? I feel like I'm dying during that workout. It almost feels like what's the point of killing myself for 1 point!! Though I know the metabolism boost it brings and the endurance, cardio benefit etc etc but man...1 point!! Geez!
 
Stacy, that's what I do: I end up with 1 for wu/cd and the rest is usually intense. But, according to WWers guidelines, if you can talk during the workout, it's low. And I can talk/sing through the warm up and cooldown. It is a very intense workout. And it took me a while to get over only earing 1 AP for wu/cd.

Food:

B. Yogurt, almonds
S. three eggs, 2 toasts, collards
L salad, chicken, banana, candy (2PP) =
S. apple, milk
D: chili, rice,
s: ice cream -
Total = 47
 
Today's workout was HIIT 30/30.

B--raspberries, 1/2 a banana, Jimmy Dean's Turkey Sausage Breakfast bowl (6 pts)
L--100 calorie Cheezit snack pack, celery & carrots with dip (5 pts)
D--1/2 an apple, grilled cheese on wheat (14 pts)

25 DP's, earned 1 AP.
 
Stacy, I'm sorry I didn't make myself clear on 30/30. I breakup the times and intensities. For the warm up and cool down, I allow 1ap because it's "low" and I can talk and sing. For the intense part: the 21 minutes in between I use the"high" intensity level and earn 5 APs for a total of 6.

When I reread my post, I don't think I was clear. Please forgive me.
 
No problem, Shereta....I figured it out :)

Today was a bit of a mess as far as eating goes. I didnt do too bad with points, just didnt get in alot, if any, fruits and veggies.

B--Cream of Wheat
L--Jimmy Dean Breakfast Bowl
D--taco salad, lemon bundt cake

Total....32 points.

Still have 5 AP's and 32 WP's left to last til Wednesday weigh-in.
