WEIGHT LOSS CHECK-IN 6/9/03

Hello Ladies ! :)

I hope everyone has had a good week. I am down another pound this week (weighed in yesterday :)) - I don't know how, as I have discovered a liking for maple syrup !!!!!!! LOL :7 You will all be pleased to know that by the end of the week, I decided my maple syrup had to go in the bin, as it was too much. Parting is such sweet sorrow but my scales will be happier ! :7

Have a great week :)

Anna :)

I lost 4 lbs. this week. I must have been retaining some water last week. It is very abnormal for me to lose that much in one week. But, I am happy. Good luck to everyone else.

I am down another pound I think, I would have to go back to last week's and check it to be sure. I am a half a pound away from my mini goal I had set for today but I am not disappointed. I am in most of my 12's so I am happy. I think I am going to shoot for 175 and see what size I am then.:D My measurements are starting to move again in the right direction so I am happy about that too.

Good job Anna and Lori on your losses, you are doing great so keep it up!!!

Hi Everyone.. sorry to be MIA.. Life, etc.

I was down 4.5 this week but was pretty sick so I'm not sure how much of that is real. I'll take it anyway though!

As you know, I get bummed about my slow progress but looking at the big picture, I'm happy to say that I've lost 32 lbs since last August. Given the year I had it could easily have been the other way.

Hope everyone has a good week!

Hi everyone,

What a bummer, I gained 1.5 pounds this week but the body fat % went down 1%. I am hoping to see a lost this week. Guess I need to be more of a stickler with my eating.
Congrats to everyone with the weight loss.

Rhonda

Hi everyone,
Congratulations to all the losers and maintainers, I maintained this week, I know why, I couldn't stop eating last week. This week, I started counting my points and journalling, so I hope next week I will see some loss. Till next week.

Hi everyone. I maintained this week, or maybe lost a pound within my 3-pound plateau region. I went dress shopping for my sister's wedding this weekend and luckily everything I tried on fit OK, but I am motivated to lost some more before her September wedding!

Anna, I really love maple syrup too. One good treat is to mix maple syrup with butter and put some on vegetables, like brussel sprouts. So delicious, but not so healthy! But hey, you gotta live a little and you definitely gotta eat!

Good job to all the losers out there.

I just remember in grade school when they mixed maple syrup and peanut butter in little cups as a condiment. MMMMM.....

I lost one pound fully clothed and after breakfast - so I'll take it and smile! My goal this week is to actually exericse.....

See you next week - same bat time, same bat channel (I love having a 7 year-old boy, everything old is new again!)

Katie!

I almost posted to this a few minutes ago! My hubby has a traditon in his family that is called "Sword Fight"! You take a lump of peanut butter, put it in a dish, then cover it with maple syrup. You then take a knive & fork and go at it like sword fighting, crsiss-crossing the fork & knife mixing it all together! My kids used to get the biggest kick out of doing this! http://www.handykult.de/plaudersmilies.de/rough/sword2.gif

RE: Katie!

Hi guys,

I'm still maintaining, but I'm okay with it! :) My eating has been so "casual" that I can't honestly say I've been trying hard to lose, so maintaining is a good thing for me right now! :)

Lots of good losing going on though! Wooooo~Hooooo!!! You guys are losing great! :)

Have a good week everyone,

Donna

p.s. Hey Debbie, after the "sword fight," do you eat the mixture? :)

Fitness~ It's a journey, not a race!

Debbie!

How fun! I hope this works with imitation maple syrup because they didn't have the real stuff today at the commissary. Donna, I hope you do get to eat the mixture because I just told the kids they could have a "sword fight" before waffles!!!!

Thanks for the idea!
Katie

Katie & Donna!

YES, I EAT the mixture! It is sooooo good. I usually use sugarless, low calorie syrup and it's still good. PB is a good fat so I don't feel guilty at all. (Gotta be Jiff Extra Crunchy!) Sometimes, I will use Natural PB, but not crazy about it. Too dry! ENJOY! Katie, let me know how the kids enjoy their "FIGHT"!
