Waiting for a burger

Maximus had to get his 3 year rabies vaccine yesterday. I try to end the day with something special so he doesn't dread the vet's office.
This is my boy waiting for his plain hamburger in Burger King drive thru. Look at his face as the burger is passed through the window!

I just can't help myself. I have to kiss that mug several times a day:D
He fills my heart with so much joy!

Do you do anything special on days you have to make a trip to the vet?
My vet likes to give hamburgers to some of his patients who have been sick a while. He believes that is medicine in itself. I really like my vet:)

OMG is he a cutie!:) My Newfoundland Georgie gets his own plain burger anytime I buy a burger for DH! He is terribly spoiled that way.

Awww, how adorable your dog is. No, I don't usually do anything special other than take them home..One of my dogs is a wreck going in the car. I think their special treat is just to get the heck out of there and go home. They are to worked up to eat food.

He is so adorable. I think the idea of a hamburger is a good one. Bless their little hearts.

You are a good mommy.

That is an excellent idea and my dog is due for his rabies vaccine in March...Baxter thanks you ahead of time!

My cats love fries. I'll have to take my kitties to get some french fries after their next visit.

Does your dog eat the burger plain, or does he eat it with everything that comes on it?

Thank you everyone for taking a look at my boy. I'm so proud of him:D

Yay! A burger for Baxter!!!

Jennie,
We went to Burger King because we can hold the pickles, hold the lettuce...special orders don't upset them.:D Maximus has a very sensitive tummy, he takes his burgers plain. Mcdonald burgers make him sick:eek:

Conni, I did order a burger for myself.:D

It's that flame broiled flavor. Um Um. Maxi has good "taste."

I see why you can't stop kissing Maxi's face. Kind of like the way I can't stop touching my Bootsy's little white paws. Every time I do she yanks back her paws because she really does not appreciate my presumptuousness. It just makes me want to do it more. It's become our little routine.

He is so cute! He looks like my Boxer Mix, Johnny.

His face is so expressive.

I think lots of boxers have very expressive faces.

As for vet visits, my poor border collie has had enough of those for a while. She tore her ACL ligament and then it ruptured and required surgery.

I have never thought of doing something extra for my doggies when they have vet visits.

Perhaps I need to begin to think of something.....

Again, your Angel Doggie is just too cute!

That's such a cute idea. I do that for my human kids, but I never thought to do that for Snoopy. I will from now on though.

You are now Snoopy's favorite Catheite. :)

Heck yeah, my mutty mutt gets a trip to either Petco or Pet Smart...I never leave those stores without spending at least $150...and the cashiers always asks me "How many dogs do you have?" I say "1" and point to my little 30lb American Eskimo named Chui and they always say, " Boy, he must be spoiled!" and they are right!
