Trick or Treating with children and pets!

:D Are any of you planning on taking your children or pets trick or treating this Friday? My daughter is going to be Ronald McDonald and my 2 pug dogs will be bride and groom. We are taking the pugs to a pet halloween contest! I don't know how the costumes are going to stay on the pugs as they keep pulling each others off! We have moved to a new house, so I am not sure how many trick or treaters we will have, not that it matters much as we will not be home most of the evening. We never seemed to have enough candy at our last home we lived at and would always run out!
 
Depends on the weather! Now they're saying high of 60 on Friday and dry, which means we should get a lot of kids!! We live in a small development and people drive in from surrounding neighborhoods when the weather is good. It's a lot of fun because people around here really get into it! My daughter is almost 13 and hasn't yet decided if she's going out, or staying home with us to give out candy. We always dress up and usually decorate big time, but the past two years have been cold and wet, and this year we aren't yet ready!! Better get to it!! LOL!!

Hi Lisa! Not really my son is 11 & he already informed me that him & his friends are having a "shaving cream fight." Told him anywhere EXCEPT our house! LOL I was disappointed that he doesn't want to dress up anymore. He's getting too big! Sat. he was invited by one of his friends to visit a "haunted mansion" as well as a corn maze. He had a blast. I usually have to make up 100 bags of candy no kidding we have so many kids in our neighborhood it isn't funny. Your pugs must be adorable in their costumes. Good luck w/the contest. Hi Lisa, I'm taking my little Lion out. He will be four in a week. He looks soooo cute in his costume, I can hardly take it. I'm not crazy about all the candy he'll get though. We moved in July to a development, so it will be a whole new experience for him. Good Luck to your Pugs! How cute is that?

Thought I would just add too LOL My 4 year old is going as spongebob and my 9 year old is going as a witch and my 12 year old doesn't want a costume and my 14 year old just wants a wig, guess I am getting off easy this halloween as I used to make costumes for all the kids LOL. I have too many dogs to dress up LOL. :)
 
We live out in the country so don't get any trick or treaters. Altho the neighbors hve 4 kids so maybe they will stop by! I miss seeing all the cuties dressed up!

We also have too many dogs to dress up :)

We are going out but only to 4 houses. Our boys are just 1 year old so it's more for us this year. One will be a bat and other is a puppy. I'm hoping it won't be cold. We are getting light fluries right now :(

:D Yes Cathe, are Eric and Kyle going trick or treating, and if so what will they be? Lacey will be pleased you wanted to give her a hug!
 
I have some bat wings I like to put on my black sheltie. They're made where they stand up off her back and when she runs around, it looks like they're flapping up and down. It's hilarious. Of course, the fact that she has no clue why everyone's laughing makes it even funnier.

We've lived out in the country for the past few years and never had any trick or treaters, but last summer we moved to a small subdivision with lots of kids, so this year should be much more fun.

These are very cute. My daughter is off at college for her freshman year. God only knows what she will do this Friday. I prefer not to even think about it.
