Tracie Long's preorder is up and there are clips!!

I just got the TLTs over at Mary's site yesterday after seeing all this great Tracey stuff.

I don't know if I am getting these, however. I really don't like the one on one training thing, just me I guess, but I need backround people in my life!

Just when I thought I had enough DVD's, LOL!
These look good (and I like presales like this: product promised before December 25, 3009---just a bit over 2 monthS. Definitely a wait I can tolerate..

(Is Tracie going to change the name of her company with EVERy series she comes out with? First, it was TLP, then TLT, now LONGevity).

ETA: Hmm....the step workout isn't looking as good to me : she gets off beat in some moves (which is usually a deal breaker with a cardio workout for me), and that's just in a short clip.:( Disappointing, because I REALLY like the moves in these (I much prefer athletic step to choreography).

Thanks guys for helping me spend money I shouldn't!! I just took a look and preoredered. When I use to do the firm, Tracey was one of my favorites. I did like her last offering TLT's I just don't do them that often. She does keep changing her company name what is with that??

I'm with you on this. I just didn't get excited at all when viewing the clips. I was especially disappointed in the step one.

Kathryn:

I went over to take a look at Tracie's site and on the forums one of the members asks about this apparent inability to move with the beat. The forum administrator explains that while the moves are taken from different and multiple moments throughout the workout, they set those moves to the same song throughout the clip, so this mix gives the appearance of having Tracie move off the beat.

Note: not a huge Tracie fan here so not advertising, just noted this and thought you might like to know!

As excited as I was when I heard Tracie was coming out with new workouts, I've decided I can resist. They are not must haves for me (at this time anyway). The presale price even with the extra 10% code for taking the survey is not incentive enough for me once shipping (way to high) and tax are added in.

I thought I might be interested in these but after checking the clips I am going to pass. I don't much like working out with no background exercisers for whatever reason. Reminded me of the original Fitprimes. Also I really didn't like the TLTs at all. Tried them a few times and ended up trading them. Nancy Tucker also has a new series coming out may be worth checking out. I think she describes it as a sort of P90's style.

I agree with you. The step dvd didn't excite me at all. I'm a very experienced stepper and it looked too repetitive and easy to me. Guess I'm spoiled and too used to Cathe's more challenging routines!

Wow, that's a pretty ballsy question for someone to ask on Tracie's own site!
But whether they were filmed on-the-beat or not doesn't really matter if the clip they used in the workout doesn't synch. The "appearance" of her being off-beat is what we will be seeing after all.

The clip of the step workout reminds me a lot of Kathy Smith's old workout "Great Buns & Thighs". Anybody else still do this one? It's an oldie, but goodie. I have to say, a good step routine that yields good results is not measured by the complexity of the choreography. GB&T is a perfect example of this, and Tracie's workout will be too!

I had Kathy's workout, too, and loved it! Step is my favorite kind of cardio, but I like more of an athletic workout than dancy choreography. I have two left feet for the first few months until I get it all memorized!!!

Gin Miller's step workout that came with The Step many years ago was also one of my favorites!
