THANK YOU FOR COMING!!!!!!
Hi Everyone!
I am still so excited about last weekend and can't stop thinking about the fun we shared. Meeting all of you one on one is a memory that I will cherish for a lifetime. Thank you for inviting me into your lives and sharing your personal achievements, goals, family pictures, precious pet stories, and so much more. I have also thoroughly enjoyed viewing all of the road trip pictures you have shared online and find myself constantly popping over to peek at them again and again. Your smiles are so contagious, your hearts are swelled with emotion, your happiness is radiant, and your energy is so VERY evident. Are we just having ALL OUT fun or what?
The excitement in your faces was priceless as you enthusiastically shared with me that I am a fixure in your household and how we have been longtime workout buddies and how everyone in your family has already met me and some even worked out with me too. I fought back tears hearing how I have impacted your lives. I really wanted to just let it all pour out but I knew I would start a trend as I witnessed a few of you wiping your eyes in the distance as we had our "circle time" spontaneous talks here and there.
I SO wish I was able to talk to each and every one of you for EXTENDED periods of time and hear about your history and how you came to enjoy working out so much. I have gone through the Who's Who book and read about each one of you, which at least helped fill in some of the gaps for me. Wow, fascinating stuff too. You are a very interesting, intelligent, and diverse group, who all share a passion to workout. This book is now one of my greatest keepsakes.
Thank you too for my Ipod (completely loaded with a list of hundreds of my favorite artists and songs). Wow, what an exceptionally generous gift. I heard a lot of behind the scenes planning went into that to find my favorite music too. You sneaky devils ;-). I also loved the saying engraved on it..."an apple 4 our teacher" and how it was beautifully presented with a pretty basket of apples too. You know, I can get a little shy when receiving gifts but please don't let that get in the way of showing my deep appreciation for them. Standing up there any longer and my fountain would have started flowing....you are all so special to me!
Let me not forget the HUGE birthday cake "Happy Birthday Cathe, Kathy S. and July Roadtrippers Birthdays"....so thoughtful to include everyone too.
Speaking of including everyone, there are some very special people I want to highlight for their extra efforts in making this event come together.
The Roadtrip Coordinators: Kathy S., Debbie H, and Lorrayne.....by now you have all met them and realized what a super fantastic team they made. I cannot thank them enough for volunteering their dedication to the event. The hours and hours of planning, the thousands (and I do mean thousands) of emails we have sent back and forth over the last 6 weeks, the long distance phone calls to the hotels and one another, the planning of activities, the gathering of information, the attention to endless details, the support given to anyone who asked it of them....the list of appreciation for their hard work goes on and on...I love you girls!
Chris: My business partner who I hope many of you had the chance to meet. Chris enjoys working hard behind the scenes and does it SO well. Between the two of us, we look forward to expanding upon Cathe.com and bringing you a future of fitness that meets and exceeds your expectations.
The Cathe.Com Staff: Chris and I would like to thank Nancy, Bob, Trevor, Linda, and Ed for working extra hard planning and preparing for the weekend....(and never once complained about the long and labored hours....and they were long). Poor things! They were the ones who never got a chance to breathe, sleep, or shower...yet they smiled through all of it. Thank you, you are great!!! And let me share with you that they had an amazing time meeting all of you. They wanted me to BE SURE to tell you that they read your thank you emails and were touched by your kindness. They still talk about what a fantastic group you were.
Our Special Helpers: Sharon (our all year around devoted Cathe.com volunteer who is multi-skilled and has a knack for multi-tasking). Nancy's daughter Danielle, who put in extra long hours manning the door to watch the belongings plus help out with anything that was asked of her. Katie, Sharons daughter, who also was supportive in helping out in any way needed. I owe you all BIG TIME!
The Cast: Cedie, Brenda, Lorrayne, Mark.....you were all so kind to come and participate and let the roadtrippers meet you and get to know you. I know this was very special to them and looking at your glowing smiles very special to you too. Mark, thank you also for being our DJ for the night plus accepting my impromtu invitation to "strike a pose" for the attendees and show them your remarkable martial arts/kickboxing talent. Although Jai could not make it (she had a grand opening for her second seafood restaurant), she wanted you to know that she is sorry she had to miss the opportunity but loved viewing the pictures and reading your stories. I also wanted to let the roadtrip attendees know that the cast has shared with me that they found you to be the sweetest group of people they have ever met. They wanted me to be sure that I let you know how much they appreciated meeting you and having you share your stories with them. They thank you for all your kind words too.
My Hubby and Eric and Kyle: I could never do all that I do without their unconditional love and support. BIG HIGS AND KISSES TO YOU!!!!
Finally, and most importantly, our Wonderful Roadtrippers: THANK YOU ALL FOR COMING, SHARING, LOVING, and OPENING YOUR HEARTS to me, the cast, one another, and the entire Cathe.com staff. You have been wonderfully loyal and supportive to us and we thank you deeply and graciously. You have no idea how you have moved me/us. It was great sweating it out with all of you. I love you all!
Very Sincerely,
Cathe
