Those finished with Meso 1...lower body results?

I finished meso 1 yesturday and to tell you the truth I don't think I look any different in any part of my body than when I started. I was in good shape to begin with, but there are no "wow" differences from when I started. I did LOVE it and I do think fitness wise, I'm in better shape, but not necessarily any thiner.

I'm hoping that by the time I finish all 3 meso cycles my hips will be a bit smaller, but who knows.

I completed meso 1 yesterday. I don't weigh or measure myself, I become too obsessed if I do, I just go by how my clothes fit. I do notice that my pants are fitting me looser. I wear 4's & 6's depending on fit and I was able to get into a 4 pant that had been too snug, so I am seeing results. My arms are more defined too.

My legs feel more toned (butt especially) and my thighs are slimmer - this is a biggie for me (no pun intended) since this is a problem area for me. The workouts felt hard - not as much of a burn - but legs are tired and heavy the next day. Different workouts really are key to making changes happen.

same here, i don't see any difference either. which is kinda disappointing since the workouts are so hard. for all the hard work, i thought i would see some results, even small ones. but, maybe at the end of the program. but, i do love the workouts.

My thighs and hips are slimmer. It's where I need the most work, so I'm very happy with the results.

I just finished meso 1 last evening. I too, don't measure but I do weight once a week and I have lost a pound. I have been pleased to see more muscle definition in my shoulders and upper abs which iare usually the first place I see definition. I run and swim for cardio and I have noticed that my pace has been slower in both so I know the muscles are fatigued. Overall, I am pleased and hopeful.

I have thought about this and I am thinking that since this is the endurance portion of sts that since I was pretty fit before I started this is just getting my body ready for the next segments. I think that that is when I will start to see real changes. Seeing as how that will be when the muscle building portions will begin.
That is what I am hoping and expecting:)
But I am loving sts and I think it is pushing me harder because I do want those results.

Body results

Yes, I too, am disappointed that I didnt see some good results, especially in my waistline. I have been eating very well because I did want to see the results. However, I love the workouts and am getting stronger. I think I do see results in my shoulders and my core strength.

My plan of attack for this off-week is to step up the cardio endurance because that is usually how I take weight off.

If you guys notice too, Cathe's STS rotation cardio day choices were pretty hard ones. I wasn't really following the rotation until the 4th week and figured I'd start doing what she suggested!!

At least we're all in the same boat! I'd like Cathe's input as to what she thinks we should see, and if it won't really start taking "shape" until we "kick it up a notch"!!

I'm a optimist so let's all enjoy our week off from weights and then kick it into gear for Meso 2!!! Can't wait!:D

I, too, have only seen results in my shoulders & abs since completing Meso 1-but they are amazing. I don't measure myself, but I have lost 2 lbs. I don't feel as 1 leg day a week is enough for me, but since I already take karate 2 x's a wk, my legs are too tired. I am absolutely loving STS & I can't wait to start Meso 2! I have never felt better!

My legs appear more toned to me, but that could be largely due to fat loss. I lost 15 pounds and 3% body fat during the first 4 months, probably mostly due to a VERY clean diet.

I just finished Meso Cycle 1 on Saturday. I can say that my legs are much stronger then they were when I started the program. I must make a disclaimer that I wasn't on a regular workout routine for months prior to STS. So, take this any way you want.

I must say that I cycled yesterday and noticed I was using a much lower gear going up hills than I used during week 1 and immediately noticed that my speed was faster and I wasn't feeling "the burn" as much as I was during week 1.

So, I can definitely see a difference. :)
