The mat Cathe uses on her "bench"

I can not believe no one has asked this. Or if they did, I missed it. Where did Cathe get the mat she uses on her step bench in STS? I have often wanted one that fits onto the step when using for wt lifting. And as OCD as I am (believe it or not ) I don't want to just cut something down to size to fit LOL!!

Someone did ask this and Cathe said they will not be available for a little while. I will try to find the link to that posting and figure out how to cut and paste it.

Thanks Mary, my power was out for almost a week when STS first came out so I missed some stuff. I knew someone else had to notice that mat LOL!!!

That actually looks like the same mat. I wonder if it's by Altus?

I have a step mat similar to this http://karenvoight.com/store/tool.asp?id=MAT with cut-outs for the arms for more ROM. (I used to have the Karen Voight one--which I had for about 10 years! before it got so rough around the edges that I replaced it with another one. Same style, but a very dark blue, almost black).

I've been looking, but I can't find it! I thought it was from www.fwonline.com, but all they have is the same type of mat, but without the arm cut-outs. It looks like Karen Voight is the only one who carries it now.

Cut a Yoga Mat...

I simply cut a yoga mat to fit my bench years ago. It works great....

There might be a fraction of an inch that it doesn't cover, but it's sufficient. And although it looks as if it hangs a smidge over the sides, it doesn't get in the way at all.

It has a little "tag" on the corner that says Power-Systems. I'm thinking this may actually be the one Cathe uses because I think I've seen that same little tag on hers.

That's where I ordered my Troy Lite bar and plates, and the shipping was very fast, with no problems with the order. Just thought I would throw that out there in case anyone was wondering about the company. That was my only experience.

Ah, yes, I thought they looked the same. I missed that thread, though, and got lucky finding it on PS's website. It really does work well and also works well as a floor mat for ab work.
