The clouds are my enemy.

Does anyone else turn into a different person on cloudy/stormy days? I was doing so good - eating totally clean, on STS Meso 2, running, etc.,etc., and then last week, I felt it. It was even a sunny day, but I could feel a storm coming - I got a headache, and just felt blah. Well, that night, and for 4-5 days after that, there was this huge storm. Gone was my motivation, my body felt like crap, I was extremely tired and lazy. So I fell off the clean-eating wagon, and I decided to take a week off from any exercise, but I've been living in shame and disgust ever since.

What do you do when the clouds come through?

If it's just one day of rain I welcome it, but I'm generally happy when the sun is shining  However, I get excessively cranky when I see tropical depressions/storms/hurricanes lining up just south of me

Oh, I am right there with you!!! It rained the whole month of June and I was going nuts. I was going on the Cathe RT and was sure I would be in my best shape. Not after that!!!!!!!! By the time I got back to it in July, I only had 3 weeks to prep.

I could never live in Seattle!!!!!!!!

I feel this way in winter....so many people in my life passed in the winter time and after January the cold and snow gets really old.

I like a good storm, but after a few days, it does get tough. My response seems to be baking and cleaning. Something about those 2 activities puts me in a better frame of mind.

I've been having trouble the past few days with motivation ~ resisting the urge to go back to my bed and stay there all day ~ and the weather is beautiful. Don't feel bad about it, Dani. We cannot be 100% "on" all the time. No one is, not even the peppiest, most optimistic person you know.

Be gentle with yourself. :) Allow yourself to slow down a bit, and this will pass.

This is so me, too. This kind of weather really messes with how I feel.
I get such headaches and very fatigued, I mean just exhausted.
It's all I can do just to get through work and when I get home, I take a hot bath and go straight to bed.

I've actually been suffering from this for about a month now.
I finally got the energy and determination to do some pilates today. Nothing strenuous, but something to help me feel better and try to get back on track with my workouts.

I do fall off the clean eating wagon, but it's because I'm too dang tired to fix myself something healthy, that is when I'm not nauseous.

I had blood tests done that found I am not suffering from allergies...so now what?
(I have sinus drainage and very bad headaches also).

I'll probably end up going to an ENT if I can't get better. I'm hoping the winter weather here in Pa. will give me some relief.
Fingers crossed :)

But anyway, to the OP, I soooo feel your pain!

I was right there hating the winter too! Then, my DH taught me how to ski! Now, although, I don't live winter any more than I did, at least it's more tolerable now that I have a winter activity to keep me busy! Makes it go by just a little bit faster!

Of course, this last winter was horrible just because of how much snow we got! :( I hope we don't get ANY this year! :)

Well I guess I'm a little different then most evryone else:eek:. I tend to workout quite well in the winter because it's cooler. the heat makes me very cranky and way too tired...even enough not to workout.

I manage fairly well in the summer, but the winter time, I workout like a dog! I guess when I'm cooler I can workout better and not be too tired before hand ya know?
