Carolyn, there is something about nature that is grounding. Glad you got out there. Do you carry an umbrella, or do you just go all out and walk in the rain and sweat?
The rain here is pretty moderate (might be tapering off too), and we need it, but, oh, that gross, gross wet humidity.
We had the wildest week of weather. Mid-50s Memorial Day weekend, low 90s one weekend later! Today is mid-60s thus far.
Any progress with dh's eye/face?
I was thinking the same for you, that you need to stretch more, since you have those aches and pains. Use Travis' Foundations and CT too! Maybe you'll change your mind about UY. Our group can start a UY/BB rotation!
The lady in the ballet dvd I previewed yesterday was as pliable as playdoh! There is flexible, but she can twist and bend in pretzel-like pliability! Incredible. It is a 60-min TB workout, sectioned off by body part.
I am tuning my brain to have a 'ballet body' mind-set now. But, boy, do I ever miss Cathe's good ole warmups and cooldowns! And then I also momentarily panic, thinking I'm not getting any Cathe cardio in! But I did spin yesterday.
Jean, it has been a long haul for you prepping the house. You definitely have light at the end of the tunnel! Can't wait for you to get to the relaxing part.
Have fun trying out your new laptop.
You haven't posted much recently so I just noticed I'm going to catch up to you in # of posts! You'd best get posting!
So I watched This is 40 last night. Omg, I was prepared to laugh because you ladies warned me, but, omg, did I laugh
hard! I can't remember a movie doing that! Tears from laughing so hard, but also from being so raw and hitting some nerves. Sniff, sniff.
Have you seen it, Jean?
Missy, how exactly did you participate in the fitness competition? I want the details.
