Strength in Numbers

Pam I am glad to no longer change the time but they think it would be better to have the extra hour in the evening. Great work on FS Shred Cardio and Push Day. I can no longer do those types of cardio anymore either. I am almost 66 and I find it is just too hard to do them anymore. I have learnt to not push myself and listen to what my body needs instead of trying to make myself do something that doesn't suit me anymore. That is why I am trying to walk more.

Julie The reason for staying on Daylight Savings time is so we have an extra hour of light in the evening. Good job on your lower body weight workout. You are not old, it just takes time to get new laptops set up on how you like it.

This morning was STS 2 Total Body Supersets. Then I got some cleaning done. We may do some errands this afternoon, but it is raining hard so we may wait until it is a bit nicer out.

Cheryl Great job on STS2 TBS and your cleaning! I would much rather have the extra hour in the morning but DH would rather it be at night.

This morning I did my upper body weights. I was worried I would not be able to do much at first because for some reason I kept feeling light headed but it ended up passing thankfully.

Julie Great work on your upper body weights. That isn't good to be light headed but I am happy that it passed and you could finish your workout.

This morning was LMR2 Kickbox Fusion. Now I need to get to the SPCA as the animal transfer is this morning instead of tomorrow. Then I need to go and get groceries.

This morning was Fit Split Mixed Impact Cardio and pull day. I haven’t really done this series much and it’s a lot harder than I remember it! It’s supposed to be 79 degrees here today so I am going to try to get outside and do something. Have a great day!

Pam Great job on STS2 A$ and TBS! Great choices with being sore. Great job on FS IC & Pull Day! If I remember that one right, it feels like she packed a lot in and rushed from one exercise to the next. Hope you got to enjoy the nice weather!

This morning was my sleep in day. We are supposed to be getting a warm weather surge this weekend and early next week. Might hit 80 which is crazy. I don't want to sound like a complainer but going from 30s/40s to 60s/70s and back every couple of days is not helping with allergies and sickness going around.

Julie I hope you get to enjoy the nice weather this weekend. I have been loving the warm weather. Those temperature swings are the worst, I’m hoping we are about done with them.

This morning I was still feeling pretty sore and achy so I did Yoga Relax. I did get out to the park yesterday for a walk in the nice weather. I have new hiking shoes that I want to make sure are broken in because I’m heading on a hiking trip next Friday. Have a great day!

Yesterday got away from me and I forgot to post. I really slept in yesterday and felt really out of it when I woke up that I decided to take the day off. I did finish up the housework and then in the afternoon I did manage to get a walk in. This morning was LMR2 Total Body. Then we met up with some of DH's old school friends for lunch. Now I need to organize my dragon boat gear as our first practice is tomorrow morning. It will be a short one as we still need to move the boat into the water and then we are going out for brunch.

Cheryl Great job on LMR2 TB and getting your housework done. Yea, so glad dragon boating is starting. Hope you had a great first practice even if it was short.

Friday was my lower body workout and then I did a bunch of stuff around the house. Saturday was my mobility workout and some more chores around the house. We got warmer weather but it was also rainy and overcast so no being outside. Sunday was upper body weights. This morning I slept in. I was so tired from the time change. I could have slept another couple of hours.

Saturday was Fit Split Boxing bootcamp| Legs and glutes. Sunday was my rest day and it was mostly just a lazy day. This morning was STS 2 Upper Body 2 and boy was it hard. It’s another beautiful spring day, I don’t want this false spring to end! Have a great day!

Pam Great work on FS Boxing Bootcamp/Legs and Glutes and STS 2 Upper Body 2.

So Saturday we got our dragon boat in the water. We did a short paddle but that was it. We had brunch reservations at a local restaurant so we couldn't be on the water for too long. Sunday morning I needed to go back down to where our boat was to touch base with other teams that were putting their boats back in for contact information. The person who always did this is in the hospital with major heart issues and he will probably not be able to do this again so we need to take charge and figure things out between us. This morning I was so tired after the time change that I didn't do a workout. I am thinking that I will try to go for a walk this afternoon though just to do something.

Cheryl Oh I hope your teammate is ok with all the issues. That sounds scary. Hopefully you got a walk in if only to clear your head and get some stress relief.

This morning was my lower body weights. I am still tired from the time change. We are supposed to get major storms tonight. Large hail and possible tornadoes throughout the night.

This morning I was still really groggy with the time change so I didn't do a workout again, but I did meet up with some ladies for a walk. It was snowing slightly when I left but it started to come down really hard when we were halfway through our walk. It hadn't snowed at all this winter until today but it did change to rain later in the day so it is mostly gone now. I sure didn't dress appropriately and I couldn't feel my fingers when I was done. This afternoon DH had a dentist appointment for a crown. So now he has his temporary crown and then the permanent one put in in a couple of weeks.

Cheryl Why does it take like a week to recover from the time change? At least this is the last time you have to do it. Glad you were able to get a walk in.

This morning was my upper body weights. We got lucky and the really bad storms went north of us. We did get thunder and rain but luckily no real high winds or damage. This morning at 3 the temp was 69 but now it is 39 degrees. We might even get a wintry/snowy mix. Yesterday when I left work it was 82. I think my area officially hit all the seasons within a 24 hour timeframe.

It looks like I forgot to post yesterday but I did STS 2 Lower Body 2 and the abs from LIC. Then I spent most of the day cooking and we had a hockey game last night. This morning was Step Blast and now I have some house cleaning to do. It is supposed to be 89 degrees here today, crazy! Have a great day!

Julie I don't know why it takes so long to recover from the time change. Maybe it is because we know the clocks skipped an hour and it really isn't the time the c lock is telling us? Great job on your upper body weights. That is some crazy weather that you are having.

Its been a week. Late Wednesday afternoon my MIL called who we haven't spoke to in years, You never know what you are going to get with her, will she be nice or will she be a screaming lunatic. Anyway she said she need help so we went over there not knowing what to expect. She was civil to us which was nice but it was late when we were going home. We stopped at a restaurant for dinner at 8ps which really through me off. Thursday morning I was exhausted and didn't do much but I did go to the SPCA in the afternoon. We had a very large transfer so I was there until 8pm. Friday I was exhausted but we did do some errands. This morning was suppose to be dragon boating but it was too cold so it was cancelled. I did go down there to bail out our boat because of all of the rain but someone beat me to it. I wasn't too sad about that. Now we are going for a walk with our friend and a school friend of DH's. It is the last nice day until we get a crap load of rain again.
